with rocket's new boss, the resurgence and reappearance of the crime syndicate's presence is imminent. the league has done its best to repair its reputation, and with the victory of a war under their belt, perhaps it is enough. but the seeds of distrust have already been sown in the ravaged land of this region, causing many to wonder what will grow?
Screams of celebration erupted from the pink haired woman as she jumped up and down as soon as the ball clicked closed. “WE DID IT RUE!!” The woman scrabbled to collect the ball, staring at it as though it was a grand prize. “I can’t believe we got it!” Excitement bubbled in her, already brain storming ideas she could do for them. “Thank you so much little dragon,” she giggled, nuzzling the ball against the side of her face, “I can’t wait to show you off to the world.”
The woman spend the next few minutes cuddling the pokeball before she sighed happily, placing the ball delicately in her pocket as if it was going to break. Clasping her hands together, she turned her attention to Rue who just sat patiently next to her. “Okay Rue,” she smiled, patting the feline on the head, “I only have one ball left. I want to either get another scatterbug or when I looked up that Eiscue, I saw that a shiny one is pink. That is our goal now.” The Sylveon meowed, smile in her eyes. “Good,” she giggled, “Let’s go!” With that, they headed to another area in hopes they would find one of the two she wanted. Deep down, she wanted that shiny penguin.
It was break time. Eleanor has been in the safari zone for most of the morning and it was about lunch time. Although she wan’t allowed to have actually food in the safari zone, she did bring some water. Finding a nice tall tree for some shade from the beating sun, the woman sat down on the nicely cut grass underneath it. Her back resting against the trunk of the tree. “It is a beautiful day,” she sighed, sapphire orbs lifted to the wide open blue sky. The Sylveon yawned, curling up into a ball next to her trainer. Ely giggled, petting the feline as she used her other hand to pull out a water bottle.
The woman took a long drink of the cool water as the breeze sent the branches into a graceful dance. A sigh escaped her as she leaned back, closing her eyes for a minute. It felt so good to sit down after strolling for so lang. Maybe, she will take a nap too. And before she knew it, the trainer was out cold. Chest rose and fell with the intake of air, body motionless. Who takes a nap in the safari zone?
A crawly sensation on her leg made the woman twitch, chest rose and fell with the in take of air still in her sleep. A few minutes went by, another tingling sensation made her twitch even harder. She groaned, deep in her nap. It was only when bite her skirt when her eyes fluttered open. And to her astonishment, a scatterbug was on her lap. Eye widened in shock, not scared just surprised. Sitting up right, a large grin spread along her glossy lips. “Hello Miss Scatterbug,” the woman greeted, “How are you today?” Her arms extended above her head in a stretch, mouth gapped open in a tired yawn. Once her stretch was done, she reached out to pat the bug on its head. “Sorry,” she giggled, the bug accepted her pat on the head, “I fell asleep.” Her gaze then shifted to the sky, seeing the sun was pass the half way mark. “Oh goodness,” the trainer exclaimed, seeing she might have spelt for a while, “It’s getting late.”
Carefully to not hurt the bug, she picked the bug off her lap and placed it in the ground next to her. “Rue? We need to get up, the safari zone is going to close soon. We took a long nap.” At the sound of her trainer’s voice, the feline stretched and yawned herself before rising to her feet. The Sylveon let out a sleep meow. “Yeah!” Turning to the scatter bug, she smiled. “Thank you for waking us up Scatterbug but I can’t play today. I have to go now.” The scatterbug’s head titled before it wiggled closer to her. Eleanor gasped, then grinned. “Would you like to come with us?” The wild pokemon crawled onto her leg, up her back, then rested on her shoulder. Eleanor giggled. “Okay! I got one ball left. I was going to save it for something else but you’re too cute.”
With that, the woman got her last ball and tapped it on the scatterbugs head. The ball opened up, pulling the bug type in and closing behind it. Not waiting for the pokball to confirm catch, the young woman glanced at her companion. “Let’s go Rue! We can come back another day. I don’t want to get locked in here.” The Sylveon nodded. Still holding the scatterbug ball in her hand, the woman and the sylveon made their way to the exit. Every once in a while, Ely would look to the pokeball in hopes she captured the creature before they felt.
