With her love of ghost type pokemon flourishing more and more everyday, the rumor of gastly spawning in the safari zone forced Genesis to spend the rest of her money on a safari ticket. How could someone not want a gastly? Seriously. Even the thought of owning a gengar brought delight to the woman eyes. However, the woman wasn’t going to get any old gastly. She wanted the best. Of course, she won’t mind a tentacool and maybe an extra draniti. Who knows?[break][break]
With that, the dark haired woman entered the safari zone. Today, she was accompanied by her fire and poison type salazzle. The lizard slithered next to her as her trainer let her gaze flickered over the open field of the wilderness of the safari zone. “Game plan,” she explained to the pokemon, pointing with her fingers so the pokemon would understand, “Let’s start over there, moved to over there, then hit the water for a bit.” Her gaze flickered to the salazzle to be sure she was listening before turning back. “We might run into other pokemon that we need to avoid.” The creature nodded. “Okay, lets go.”
To much surprise, the woman already found a pokemon as soon as she entered the safari zone. The even bigger surprise, it was a draniti. The creature was peacefully napping under a tree, curled up in a ball. A part of her wanted to catch it, to trade it off for something better. Dratini were supposable rare. However, this was her second time coming across this dragon. Were they not are here? The woman pondered her options for a while. Catch or not to catch. Ultimately, Genesis decided to pass. After all, they are going to be common here in the safari so everyone and their mom was going to have one. That and, it was a male. With a shrug of her shrugs and a gaze to her company, she motioned for them to continue to search. She didn’t want to waste the day on something she didn’t even want. After all, she did spend money to get in here. The search continued…
A long sigh escaped the woman as she ventured further and further into the safari zone. The sight of a dragon type right off the bat was a good sign. At least, so she thought. But now as she wonders, an hour had pass and here she was with nothing. Her gaze flickered to the salazzle. “At least in the wild, you can entertain yourself will battling pokemon. Here, you can’t do anything.” Another loud sigh came from the woman, hands on her hips. “Let’s go check over there,” she offered, pointing to a dark cave in the distance, “I would think ghost types would be in there right?” The salazzle didn’t say anything, just nodded and started her creepy walk towards the tunnel.[break][break]
It took a few minutes to get to the tunnel, crossing over a small pound and stuff. But when she arrived, the woman was not disappointed. Upon entering the cave with her fire and poison type pokemon, a shadowy figure was seen deeper in the cave. Thrill of the hunt took over, darting towards the figure. And when she was close enough, a ghastly appeared before her. It appeared shocked as though it didn’t expect her to be there. If this was a cartoon, droll would be running down the side of her mouth. “Hey there gastly,” the woman said in a gentle tone, slowly reaching for the safari ball, “I have plenty of ghost friends for you to play with.” This was what she wanted. A shiny gastly.[break][break]
Being careful not to startled the gastly, the woman tossed the ball. The gastly easily floated out of the way, dodging the ball. “Shit,” she cursed under her breath. Picking the ball up, an idea came to her. Recalling her poison and fire type and sending out a fellow ghost type. The froslass floated up to the gastly and smiled playfully. “Froooooslassss. Frost. Lassssssssssssss.” Genesis watched on the edge of her patience. At first, the gastly only blinked at the ice and ghost type before it snickered and replied back. “Gaaaaaaaassly.” The woman smiled, success. Throwing the ball again, the woman managed to hit its mark. Fingers crossed as she had a staring contest with the ball in hopes it didn’t open.
With the successful capture of the gastly and not really interested in anything else, Genesis found herself wondering the safari zone for something interesting. She had two poke balls left. Pondering for a moment, the woman decided to maybe get a tenticool. Poison types were something else she fancied. With that her new target in mind, the froslass and trainer started to head to were she last saw water. Although they were only useful in the water, it was still a poison type.[break][break]
On her way to the water source, a little ice cub popped its head out of now where. Although ice type was one of the rarest type out there, Genesis didn’t really want it. And instead, ignored it. “Get lost,” she mumbled to it as she walked right passed it, waving it off, “Find someone else to bother.” The wild creature blinked and watched the woman go right pass him. Let’s be honest, he was probably okay with that. Her mind was set and it just didn’t fix her list.
The decision to move to the nearest water source proved to be promising. The woman strolled up to the waters edge, gaze flickered over the waters surface. How was she to draw in a pokemon? Hand lifted to rest her head on it, fingers tapped the side of her check deep in thought. After taking a few minutes to pander her options, an idea pooped up. Tentacool were known to be rather mean creatures, willing to attack anything that disturb it’s habit. Finding a stick on the ground not too far from were they were, she plucked it off the ground and returned to the waters edge. “Well… here goes nothing,” he mumbled to her froslass. With the tips of the stick, the woman began tapping the waters surface to disturb it.[break][break]
The water rippled with each hit, sending water droplets flying everywhere. After several minutes of making a ruckus, her idea once again worked. Someone blue popped up from the water surface. The woman grinned, seeing what she wanted. As the pokemon moved into to attack the violator, Genesis snatched the ball from her pocket and tossed it. And by some miracle, the ball hit the pokemon and sucked it in. Unfortunately, the ball sank below the surface and the woman couldn’t see if the pokemon was caught. Genesis could only wait, hoping the capture was successful. “If we catch it,” she pleaded with big eyes to the ghost next to her, “Can you get it for me?” Froslass only nodded.
With everything on her wishlist from here crossed off, Genesis found herself with an extra pokeball. After taking a few minutes to ponder on whether she should eave or stay, the dark haired woman decided to stay just a little bit longer. Moving the tentacool into her packet, the pair moved on in hopes to find another else to catch. If anything, she could sell it for money or maybe trade it away to get another ghost type or poison type.[break][break]
The possibilities were endless if she got the right pokemon. But the thing was, which one was the right pokemon. “Come on Froslass,” she mumbled to her pokemon, waving for her to follow her, “Let’s head that way. There might be something good over there.” The ghost and ice type nodded. The pair made their way to the other side of the safari zone, unsure of what they would run into next.
It didn’t take long for Genesis to run into another pokemon. She eyed the scatterbug clinging onto the side of a tree. Not many people want a scatterbug unless there was something special about it. And judging by the appearance, there wasn’t. After taking a few moments to weigh her options, the trainer decided to pass on the bug type. It was a weak creature in her eyes and didn’t see any value in the pokemon. [break][break]
“Let’s go Froslass,” she mumbled to her beloved ice and ghost type, “I don’t want that one either.” The pair moved away, looking for something else. Seeing a large pound of water, the woman decided to head in that direction. Her hopes was that maybe that dragon was still in the area or a different one. Those would sell for big bling bling if she could find one.
safari zone 0/3 balls remaining. capture and close plz!
Upon coming close to the water edge, the woman spotted something underneath the waters surface. She squinted, thinking like what most people do that squinting would help the see better. The long figured swam by swiftly, disappoint from her line of vision for a moment. She grinned and gazed at her froslass. “I think its a dratini,” she told the froslass, motioning for her to get closer, “Get ready.” Genesis picked up a rock that was along the shore, tossed it up and down in her hand. A smirked formed along her lips. They were allowed to use rocks, right? Drawling her arm back, the woman launched the rock towards the middle of the pound. It slashed, sending rips of water along the surface. Her hope was this would scare the dragon closer to her.[break][break]
And, it worked. Not too long after the rock slashed on the surface, a long blue scaled serpent popped it’s head out closer to her. It’s attention was on where the rock hit the surface, not the trainer behind it. Sense they were not allowed to use pokemon to weaken the creature first, maybe catching it off guard would work. Hastily, Genesis snatched the ball out of her pocket and gave it a good toss. The ball bounced off the creature’s head before it opened, drawling the creature in and closing behind it. The ball disappointed underneath the water surface with a slash. A moment of silence filled the air as she waited at the waters edge for some kind of motion. Honest, she was surprised no tentacool didn’t come up. They were kind of mean when something disturbed their area. After waiting several minutes, the woman sighed and frowned. “Crap,” she mumbled, “I’m going to have to go get that.”[break][break]
Removing some of her clothes so that don’t get soaked, the woman entered the water to search for her ball hoping she doesn’t get attack by another pokemon. The froslass hovered next to her above the water, just in case. “Do you see anything?” She asked her pokemon, the froslass shook her head in a no, “Once we find it, I wanna get out of here.” With that, the woman and the pokemon searched for the safari ball. Once she found it and it was a successful capture, she would return to the waters edge once more. Put her dry clothes one and head out.
