[attr="class","giada i"]an idle hum escapes her as fingers brush against the horse's neck, as if she's trying to soothe it further into slumber. realistically, it's already fast asleep and she's just petting it to pet it.

in the background, her skitty manages to stumble upon a larvesta after wandering too far. the pink cat bats it around a little bit, happily mewling when it plays back. yay, friend! except, maybe she played a little too rough because it's trying to slink away and that's not good. come back, friend. pls. a softer melody escapes the skitty, another form of sing. and only when the larvesta is sleeping does she scoop part of it up in her mouth to drag back to momma cat.

the skitty stumbles back in as abner slides up to giada's back. a soft gasp escapes, the brush of hips catching her off guard. she doesn't bother to move, however, and merely glances his way when he starts talking.

"it might not survive modification, though," she murmurs. and while a nightmare is alluring to think about, does she really wanna send this pretty horse off to the slaughter? not yet, anyway. she ushers it into a pokeball and turns on her heel to face him, just barely catching the waggling eyebrows. he earns an eye roll in response, although her lips quirk up into an amused smile anyway. and then, her skitty is demanding attention so naturally, she's drawn to the cat. "whatcha got there, melly?" she murmurs, hands already moving to pry the larvesta out of the cat's mouth. eventually, it turns into a mild form of tug-of-war but giada comes out on top as she always does.

[attr="class","giada i"]while she'd like to play and not worry about the bug in her skitty's mouth, she doesn't have the option. the poor larvesta is finally wrestled away from the skitty and really, he's definitely right about it not looking too good. guilt rises for a moment before abner's distracting her as he always does and she's scoffing at him. "shut it," she retorts, tucking the pokeball away. later she'll probably bring it to the pokemon center just to be sure it's actually okay and not too injured. her cats, despite being the cutest things ever, are as vicious as her when it comes to playing.

"you really gotta stop putting weird things in your mouth," she halfheartedly scolds the skitty, not super invested in actually playing bad cop with the cat but someone has to let her know that yes, bugs do not belong in your mouth please stop this. she's reminded of the poor sunkern from the safari, another victim of her skitty that had to be tugged away.

and perhaps the skitty is saved from an actual scolding as a salandit trots up and distracts both trainer and pokemon. "oh, cute!" she's a sucker for lizards too, apparently. they're cute and scaly okay. her skitty tries to play with it but it doesn't seem too interested in the cat. instead, it drifts toward momma cat and maybe gets a little too close for caramella's liking. a sing escapes the skitty just as giada's tugging out a pokeball and it's easy to just tap the ball to its head as eyes flutter shut and a soft snore escapes.

[attr="class","giada i"]she watches the quick work his vaporeon makes of the skuntank, almost mesmerized by the way ice seems to blossom. pretty, she muses to herself. even if the skunk is a literal block of ice and probably too cold to appreciate it.

she opens her mouth to say something but her features twist a moment later because oh god what is that smell?

a trubbish. it's a trubbish. good lord, air freshener please. she raises a hand to pinch her nose as if breathing it in any longer will end her. it won't, not unless the little trash gremlin manages to burp and produce toxic gas. "sing, please. god," she groans and the skitty begins another melody. this one is a little quicker, a little more pressed to knock the trubbish out. and giada wastes no time in throwing that pokeball toward the small thing.

while it's definitely cute with those little sharp teeth, that smell needs work. maybe if she sticks some of those car fresheners on it, it'll smell a little better? who knows.

"there's a lot of things you might not know about me," she murmurs toward abner, slinking forward to see if the trubbish is now safely in the pokeball or not. realistically, she doesn't share much about herself. something about the less people know, the less they can hurt her with? sure, we'll go with that.
