It was unclear why he was in this mood. Was it the realization that he was twenty seven years old and still had nothing to show for his life got to him? No, that wasn’t it. Was it because he didn’t have an actually relationship? No, workaholics don’t care for that. Was it because he has been here for almost a half a year and still didn’t own one badgede? Maybe. So far though, his hunch about not finding anything good today was correct. About a half an hour into his search for more dragons and dark types, him and his beloved canine found something that wasn’t that. Azula’s lips lifted slightly as a gligar gilded down in front of them. It bounced on his tail, snipping its claws at them.[break][break]

His gaze shifted to her, not in the mood to detail with it. With a simply nod of his head, the gligar was about to feel Azula wrath. The canine let out a vile snarled, lips peeled back even more to revealed her nice set of sharp pearly whites. The wild pokemon only enticed her. That was a mistake. Azula launched forward, muzzle opened wide. The gligar was swift, dodging her advance. However, his victory was short lived. The houndoom turned on a dime and clamped her teeth down, barely about to grab the creature. The creature shrieked, Auzla managed to get the creatures wing like membrane between its arms. She ripped her head down, pulling on the soft area. And then whipped her head in a different direction, ripping it. The glider screeched and tried to pinch the canine with his claw. It managed to get her horn, pulling on her horn. She was unaffected, only pulling more.[break][break]

It didn’t take long for Auzla to win the battle, standing over her prize as she throw her head back in a victorious howl. Maverick chuckled as he approached her, glad at least one of them was having fun. “Well… Let’s get going,” the trainer told the canine as he kicked the pokemon, “I don’t think you killed it so it will wake up soon. Maybe another trainer will find it and want it. I’m just not in the mood to deal with it myself.” With that decided, Maverick and Azula moved on to find something else to catch.

Dragon’s have always fascinated Maverick. Before he was forced to move to Hoenn, the man owned two dragon’s in his lifetime when he was a strictly dark type specialist. A rambunctious female deino who he trained from the day she was born all the way until she evolved into a hydreigon. And right before he left, he traded a trainer for another male denio who seemed equally troublesome too. Other that those two, Maverick has never owned true dragon’s. That way, until he came here. Now, the man owned nine dragon’s and counting. Although he still needed to learn more to better handle them, Mav felt like he was doing pretty good for himself.[break][break]

It didn’t take long for the pair to find another pokemon. Yet, it was a dragon. Finally. However, Maverick was slightly disappointed. Even as the axew faced him, the man only frowned. He already own the fully evolved one. Sighing, he motioned to Azula to take it down. Without a moments hesitation, she charged. Muzzle opened wide as the axew ran. The little feet was not fast enough. A crunch of the creatures body force the creature to call out in pain, wiggling against her grip. Azula only bite down harder, whipping her head back and forth. In just a few minutes of her playing with the dragon, it was out probably from whip lash. The body was motionless in her mouth as she strolled up proudly to Maverick and dropped the body before him. “Thanks,” he grunted in a low tone, tossing the ball to catch it, “Maybe I can find someone else who wants it.”
