Now here was a challenge Oscar could really get behind. All they had to do was run this course? Maybe jump over a few hurdles? No problem. With Abner running off to do some shenanigans, Team Disaster's fourth member for this course would be Alethea Ivanova. Oscar dragged her into this, unaware of her history with Kosuke.

Oscar let out his Blaziken, Grievous, and began to stretch. "Get your stretches in now, this is gonna be crazy! Grievous do the thing!" Grievous stretched his legs and flashed as his muscles loosened (Agility). Ready to run the course, the duo burst forward once the start signal blared.

Oscar had asked her to join him and a few of his friends for one of the Pokeathlon events. It was a race, apparently, and despite her general disinterest in participating in sports-oriented events, she had agreed because he seemed excited. That, and she had recently acquired a Scorbunny with too much energy to handle - this would be the perfect activity for her to burn off some energy.[break][break]

What Thea wasn't expecting, however, was for Oscar's friends to be Marcel and the boy, Conrad. She offers the two a polite nod, of course, but otherwise doesn't say anything further. She instead focuses on her own Pokemon who is busy stretching out her legs. The tidbit of information requiring Thea to race alongside her Pokemon comes a little late, and she's being shouted at to run as soon as the gun is fired to start the race.[break][break]

Scorbunny launches forward with an AGILTIY, long and yet tiny little rabbit legs kicking up dust in her wake. Thea is thankful, at least, that she isn't wearing a dress as she hurries after the energetic Pokemon. However, both she and the rabbit seem to be moving just a bit faster thanks to the Xatu's TAILWIND[break][break]

"we're doing this!" priam shouts, trying to expend the extra energy he always seem to have.

he lets out his combusken, who, with the help of both his agility and his speed boost, reach the max speed almost immediately. tailwind also helps as it suddenly runs away faster than its peers.

"hey, hey!" he calls thea, "what'cha called again?" maybe priam has forgotten her name or that she hasn't given it at all. honestly, he had forgotten most of the things that has happened earlier.

With the help of the tailwind and another round of Agility, Grievous was easily able to outpace Oscar by an absurd distance. As not to let his lungs give out from the effort, Oscar decided to cease trying to keep up and just stay ahead of the other humans. His competitive nature was in full force today, he wanted to be the first human over the finish line.

Meanwhile Grievous had stiff competition. His teammates were immensely fast, but he was most surprised to see a combusken effortlessly starting to pass him. He gave his young kin a coy look, a challenge to see who can finish first, before bursting ahead. His leg muscles worked tirelessly to maintain his high speed, his own competitive spirit overtaking the part of his brain that usually managed logic.

Notes: Used Agility, got a boost from Tailwind.
