The last time Genesis was on mt pyre, she managed to find a ghost type super quickly. The pumpkaboo was a good find even if it needed a bunch of training. Hoping that her luck continues, the dark haired woman made her way up the trail of mt pyre. Her gaze shifted to her company, a smirk tugged the edge of her lips. “I want to catch another ghost,” he told the pokemon, gaze shifted to the trail they would be following today, “But I also want to get you some training as well.” The oddly colored gastly snickered, swaggering back and forth before it snickered again. This made the trainer smile even more. “Good.”[break][break]
With that out of the way, the woman and her newer captured pokemon made their way up the mountain. Although she wasn’t entirely sure what she wanted to get or expected to get today, Genesis did have a few pokemon in mind she would like to catch today. But it would be up to whatever she want into, whether it was a ghost or not. She wasn’t too picking. For the most part…. kinda…. Okay she was.
Not too shortly after the woman and her new found shiny gastly started their track up mt pyre that something appeared that caught the picky trainers attention. Her heart skipped a beat at the sight of Golett. The ghost and ground type pokemon strolled out causally, not giving a shit about the human or a pokemon just a few feet away. The woman took a moment, trying to think of a good way to catch the pokemon. “Are you ready gastly,” she whispered to the ghost and poison when an idea popped in her head, “Let’s get a little closer and meet it. If it’s docile enough, we don’t have to fight too much.”[break][break]
The pair got closer until the pokemon actually stoped what it was doing to face them. With a fake friendly smile, Genesis waved and gave a light chuckle. “Hey there,” she greeted, trying to be casual, “Want to battle? I would like to catch you.” The golett looked at the human before looking to the oddly colored ghost she was with. After glancing back and forth between the trainer and the pokemon, the golett turned and kept on his marry way.[break][break]
This upset her, counting and all. With a stomp of her foot, the woman pointed to it. “Use Shadow ball,” she barked at her ghastly, the creature wasting no time in creating a purple ball of ghostly aura before it. And when ready, the creature fired the ball at the golett with a successful hit. It flinched, turned to face the foe. However, it didn’t even seem made. Just… chill. This annoyed her. “Use nightshade,” she barked, reaching into her pocket for a pokeball. A dark aura casted over the golett as it hollered in pain for a moment. The pain was so intense that it fell to the ground with a thud, body bounced slightly from the impact. “Yes,” she fist pumped proudly, tossing the ball in hopes to catch it. The ball hit, sucking the creature in and locking in place. The woman held her breath, hoping she was able to knock it out enough to catch it the first try.
