people mourn the loss of their loved ones; that much has stayed true throughout generations. people and pokemon aren't that much different after death. some souls linger in this realm and some move on to the next. it's simply up to the living to make sure the dead rest peacefully.

he has no tomb to mourn in hoenn because it's not his home. mount pyre houses many spirits but none are related to him. still, it doesn't stop him from visiting one.

he doesn't speak because he can't find the spirit to. he simply stands by a random tombstone that has been long washed away over time. it's perfect for what he needs.

vicious and spiral may still be here but there were more. he couldn't save them all.

i don't really have to post much because no one reads my post anyways, right? because i'm not shiv.

nikolai catches the haunter after an easy battle, much like how all his future battles will go.

team seven is dead.

he feels sleepy; drowsy in a way that's unnatural. it's almost supernatural (heh). he doesn't have to turn to know that it isn't human. his hand has already found his pokeball by the time he steps forward. in one smooth motion, he swivels on his heel, turning to call out his gardevoir.

PSYCHIC immobilizes the haunter before it even has a chance to react. it's frozen in the air, suspended with its extended tongue inches away from nikolai's face.
