Katherine was a firm believer in developing a real friendship with each of her pokemons. It usually entailed bribing them with food to earn their trust, so the idea of throwing them around like dolls was still foreign to her. Although her eyes are naturally drawn towards the Marill again, the piece of wood that hits Oscar dead in the face takes her by surprise.
