And...Shuppet was too tuckered out to try it. He simply nodded and held out his arms. The little ghost gladly accepted the hug and snuggled into his chest. The blonde simply nodded and gave the woman a small smile. "I'll check it out, but it might be too late to sign up. Nice to have met you, Luka." With that, he turned and started to walk away. She was certainly right that it did felt good to let his Pokemon let off some steam. The tournament was still in his mind. Maybe he'll at least be a spectator. Watching Pokemon battles could be fun too. Especially in a tournament. But for now, he'll just head back to his hotel room and do a little bit of homework. Then maybe check out the city a little bit.

She offered him a map of the city. Then declared that not only was she a native, but also a ranger. He stopped and turned back towards her. A ranger, huh? Aaron took out his phone/pokedex and snapped a picture of her. Then he asked his father if she looked familiar or knew someone that might know her. Luckily, his dad gave him a quick reply. The local gym leader would. But there was also something else to check as well. "I hope I don't come off as rude...but do you have a ranger's ID?" Or something to confirm it. He wasn't usually so suspicious of people. But it was always good to be safe than sorry.

For his Trevenant's part, he at least attempted to look big and scary, trying to intimidate her. For the moment, his tree was his strongest Pokemon. Once he got it, he gave it back. His phone already had a map of the place, but what better to find some good eats and good places to check out than a local ranger? "Hmm...know any good places to eat? And shop? And do you know any good places nearby to catch ghost and steel-types?" It was a rapid barrage of questions, but hopefully that didn't deter her from humoring him a little.

The car was so badly damaged that there wasn't much more they could do to wreck it even more. It was kind of funny and horrific that a couple of cute, small Pokemon had enough power to do that. He smiled as Shuppet joined the Bunnary in celebrating. "Or a good test to see how strong your Pokemon are. Though if you want real practice, another person is always better." A very straightforward tournament then. He half wondered if maybe there was time to sign up yet. And if not, maybe he'll at least watch and gather some information. He did show some worry when the Togepi was let go and allowed to pick at the busted vehicle.



"At the very least, we made something easier to clean up a little and break down. Whoever decides to scrap it can probably get a decent amount of cash for it..." And not keep it littered around the beach. It could make a good Pokemon home, but it was still unsightly, and bad for the environment. "Hey Shuppet, let's try to do a little bit more. Use Phantom Force."

Aaron arrived to the festival wearing a green and blue yukata. He had his cute little Shuppet out and next to him, also enjoying the festival. He never been to Mauville in the first place, let alone a festival. It was certainly much bigger than the ones in Oldale and Littleroot. Even Shuppet was excited. Still, he travelled through it, albeit slowly, taking in the new sights and sounds. And smells. Something attracted both him and Shuppet to an...incense tent? Huh. The five foot four blonde walked in to take a look around. Several different bottles of incense alright. Shuppet luckily stayed by his side, even as the shopkeeper kept an eye on him.

Not that it made him any difference. He wasn't there to be malicious or anything. Though he did pick up a few bottles to read them, then put them back where he found them. The amber eyed teenager did see that someone else was around, a lady with a big red cross vest on. And a Gallade also with a vest. Cool. Not his preferred typing, granted, but still cool. He eventually found something that was for guys. Taking a small whiff of it, it was definitely nice smelling. He continued to read on the back, then went to pay for it. Shuppet did start hanging around the Gallade, making him call for it. "Shuppet, stop bothering them, they're working."

Luckily, the lady seemed more amused than anything. Looking at his tree, Aaron didn't mince words. "She has a point. You're a lot scarier in a forest in the dead of night. In a city, in broad daylight, not so much." Trevenant looked aghast, then sulked. The lady noted that he didn't look local. Well, she was right...well, half right at least. "No, not new to Hoenn in general. Been here for eight years now, but in Littleroot. Never been further than Oldale town. I kind of piggy backed off of my older brother's adventure to go on my own. He should be in Rustboro now..." Assuming he didn't get completely and totally lost. So long as he still had his phone and his Houndour, Keenan was likely going to be fine.

Though why she was so curious was beyond him. Was she a creeper. His eyes suddenly narrowed and stepped back a little. He realized too late that he probably shouldn't have said anything. Though his Trevenant was no slouch in a fight. "Anyways, I'll be going now." The little blonde started to walk off, with Trevenant in tow, still sulking.

Aaron was off browsing in a store. He was looking at some new clothes, since he had brought some ratty ones to get rid of, since his mom wouldn't let him. Now that he was far and away from her...he could do so and get some new clothes. He decided to let his Trevenant get some fresh air. And the tree Pokemon took to it quite well. Though some people seemed to have some issues with a ghost walking around. Even one that looked like a tree. The five foot four blonde was a little nervous letting him out since he did like to scare the crap out of people. When he got his new clothes, he went outside to find that Trevenant had wondered off. Sighing heavily, he looked around for it. How hard could it be finding a sentient tree?

When he did find it, it was standing behind a poor woman, with a Pikachu draped over he shoulders. His sentient tree made a ghostly noise, hoping to scare her. "Trevenant! No. Bad tree, bad." He yelled at his tree friend, who looked immediately crestfallen. Though it recovered quickly and crossed its arms, almost looking like it was pouting. "Sorry about that...he likes to scare people..." He rubbed the back of his head in slight embarrassment.

Aaron kept a neutral expression. Though his thinking was along the lines of who the hell says something so...corny? Just...wow. The Night Shade attack made deep welts across the hood, and dropped the front a bit. The vehicle was getting pretty banged up now. The roof even caved in! And part of it got torn off from the impact. The blonde teenager got a name to go with the face. But he didn't know about a tournament at all. "Tournament? There's going to be a tournament soon? What kind? Or is it just a standard battle tourney" He had no real interest in Pokemon battles. Well...sort of. He was interested in being a gym leader, but he wanted to talk more about with the one that he knew. "Shuppet, try Phantom Force, let's try to wrap this up..." Hopefully he was lucky in that it would finish off the vehicle.

Aaron nodded. Normal vehicles were tough enough as it was, but these seem to be much tougher. "I'm Aaron Toral. Nice to meet you. Shuppet, try a Night Shade attack." The woman was nice enough, if a little startled. She also seemed a little uneasy. He didn't if it was because of him and his age doing something like this, or if it was because he was using a ghost-type pokemon. He adored ghost and steel types, hence those were his pokemon of choice. But he also knew that not everyone liked ghost-types. Especially certain once. The bunny pokemon continued to kick with its trainer's command, this time doing much more damage. From Shuppet's horn, a dark energy blast fired out at the car, across the hood of it.
