though he doesn't voice his thoughts, he notices the bad signs as well, wondering what exactly transpired behind closed doors to make their target so on edge.[break][break]

but with little time to ponder over it, he starts the car, then shifts it into gear.[break][break]

not wanting to let him get away and also to avoid a pursuit, uriah slams on the gas, taking their car all the way over before drifting to a halt. with the man's path now blocked, uriah turns on the sirens.[break][break]

"come on."[break][break]

he slides out of the car, drawing his weapon.

that's not entirely true. they have local events and festivals often along with a small mall, but it's certainly nothing to write home about, especially with lilycove so close by.[break][break]
