a question with implications she should be able to pick up. he wants her to stay to help him run the booth.

how typical of his trainer to steal him away from the safari zone, his home, only to drop him off at some random daycare. well, maybe not random as it definitely looks expensive, but still! how dare uriah![break][break]

huffing, torchic skips around the area full of energy with no way to release it. his SPEED BOOST even makes him quicker than others. it doesn't take him long until he's running into someone.[break][break]

uriah has been busy as of late. not just regular busy, but busy busy. so much so that he completely forgot about the charity bake sale he agreed to help with despite it having been the responsibility of the marketing team. so much for wanting to be a team player.[break][break]

luckily, he has his star personal assistant.[break][break]

calla!!! i need you to meet me at this location with a few boxes of pastries please. any will do but make sure you get a variety!!! ty!!![break][break]

and so, uriah sends over the address before making his way over to the bake sale. for now, the akura inc booth remains empty, but it's a good thing the event has yet to start.

the sight of the mudkip gives him a great idea.[break][break]

though confused, the fire-type does as instructed and opens its mouth wide. a HYDRO PUMP flies its way, filling its mouth with salty mudkip water.[break][break]

"now gargle."[break][break]

after some odd sounds, it spits out water, then rushes forward to CROSS CHOP the mudkip to say thank you.[break][break]

a safari ball follows.

after the treecko incident, they carry on with their run, hoping they won't run into any more trouble.[break][break]

but trouble finds them, apparently, as a SPEED BOOSTING torchic quickly catches up to them only to throw a CRUSH CLAW right into incineroar's leg. the fire-type trips, falling to the ground.[break][break]

"not again..."[break][break]

uriah stops, turns, and watches his incineroar's CROSS CHOP knock torchic high up into the air. so high, in fact, that he's forced to throw a safari ball to stop it from snapping its neck on the way down.

they would've been just fine keeping to themselves on their little run through the safari zone but when attacked, they have to defend, so the treecko's DRAGON BREATH is met with swift retaliation.[break][break]

brett huffs, then coughs up a FLAMETHROWER that smells really bad likely because it has bad breath.[break][break]

after a brief moment, uriah shakes his head, conceding that there are in fact many in hoenn he still isn't familiar with.[break][break]

from his experience, at least in sinnoh, safari zones prove to be a useful experience for acquiring new recruits for his fraternity aka his party. based on what he's read on this month's cycle, he knows a few of them would fit right in.[break][break]

so here he is, flashing a warden ticket as though he has an abundance of them before stepping in to start his serach.[break][break]

"don't forget to stretch, brett. you don't want to pull your hammie again like last time."[break][break]

shrugging uriah off, the incineroar starts jogging. uriah soon follows.
