Speaking of training pokemon, Oliver really needed to do that with some of his. Either way, paxton concordas outlined some problems with some of the other organizations. A strict rule of neutrality and defectors. Good points both. The news of a Shadow Machine that helps turn Pokemon into Shadow Pokemon was news. And while Oliver didn't agree with Paxton's demeanor about it, he did agree with the question. Unless it was in the former Rocket's report and no one just read it, which is on them. Ollie didn't think he was authorized to even look at it, he was technically a cadet. And really had been one for too long. Maybe he should finally throw his hat in for a promotion after a few more missions.

He did have to give Rowan Wrynn some credit, he liked how the man was conducting himself. Rocket defector he may be, but the fact he was sharing information so willingly should speak highly of him. Still, the process of creating shadow pokemon was disturbing, and couldn't help but agree with Rowan. If they hammered out supply issues, they would do it again. Doing it to Legendary Pokemon may take a lot more resources than standard ones.

Far as the Silent Icelands go..."I don't mean to contradict Nikolaj Volosenkov a little bit, but the strange Pokemon I have in my report I met again there, copying an Arctibax's power. Granted, it left pretty quickly, but it was in the area..." Though despite being stationed in Lilycove, he'd be more than willing to map it out and help out with investigations.

Oliver listened in. A lot about the legendaries. While he did agree with finding them and making sure that they don't harm anyone, and making sure that Rocket can't get a hold of them, he kind of felt like too much emphasis was being made on them. He certainly agreed with Laurence Anderson about the how the League looks. "On that note, the League is already in a tough spot. It's on a bit of a losing streak, hasn't it? Sootopolis City shortly before I was transferred here, the destruction of Littleroot during Meteno, and more I'm sure I'm missing. While I do agree that finding and making sure Rocket doesn't get a hold of legendary Pokemon, I feel as though we're putting too much emphasis on them. As Rocket proved, legendaries can indeed be killed, defeated in battle. It's tough, but possible. I can't help but think that the League needs to find a way to strike at Rocket and get a much needed victory. Not just gather a bunch of legendary Pokemon.

That said, the troubling Pokemon I've met in the Silent Icelands and when the dome was around Hoenn probably should be more looked into. Though I will volunteer for any mission supporting or being involved in searching out the legends, I feel like we need to focus on thinking about strategies to defeat Rocket's own, and maybe giving them a dose of their own medicine." He kind of felt like this talk about finding some really powerful Pokemon wasn't the right way to go. But rather, focus on Rocket. Too much time and energy from others already tried finding the various Legendary Pokemon, why put too much of a focus on that?

Even with the pressure of the Pokemon's presence, Oliver was fearless. With one last cryptic message, all Oliver got was concern about what is to come. Oliver was confident that the odd Pokemon would continue to tour the countryside, absorbing whatever power that it could from Pokemon, but otherwise not harming them. And staying enough away from people as to not be a threat. But the fact that it had a master that wanted it to do all this...well, hopefully they can try to track it and keep an eye on it, even if from a distance. He turned around, started a morbid tour of the new Icelands.

No body? What did that mean? The creator made us, and they know our purpose...and its purpose is to gather power? Hmm...that made him nervious...but at the moment, the creature still haven't really done anything to make him believe that it was truly a threat to himself, people, or Pokemon in general. Just creepy and maybe inflicting some mild PTSD with its absorbing shenanigans. Then it raised a paw at Ollie, purple rings surrounding it. His Chansey and Hydreigon burst out of their Pokeballs to defend him, but held back given Oliver's signal.

"My purpose is to protect Pokemon, people, and this region. You're...unusual. That's why I ask so many questions. To understand you, and determine if you're a threat. So far, you are not, from my understanding. Violence may be the most efficient way to solve problems, but it is not always the best way. I'm not here to fight. Just investigate." Though that could also change in a heartbeat. His two Pokemon waited patiently, not knowing what to make of this creature either.

Oliver nodded. "Ok then. My apologies. So much was happening last time, it was hard to keep track." All he knew was that it was a poor showing and didn't give him much confidence. Luckily, the actual execution was much better. Still, there was a lot of wariness about Silph. After, he may ask a few about the company. It was very well known, but he didn't know how it really affected the Rangers. The CEO was apparently a councilman? Either way, it was something to keep in mind of. So far, aside from questions of objectivity, some minor reports, and an Avatar's bond with a Legendary severed, he wondered what the next big step was. He hoped they'd found something about Rocket's base of operations, aside from Sootopolis, that they could strike at. Or do something to curb them somehow...it just seemed like they were on a bit of a backfoot as of late, even with the meteor crisis averted.

Wait a minute, didn't this guy throw a pie last potluck? The thought hit Oliver like a truck. No wonder some others were having so much concern over the guy's objectivity. Though the red head also figured there was more there. The fact that one of their own avatars couldn't communicate with their patron diety was also shocking, and Ollie's raised eyebrows showed it. Still, not knowing enough about Avatars, he chose not to comment about it. While others were worried about objectivity, he was more worried about personality. "I do have a concern as well. Weren't you the one that threw a pie last potluck, Raziel Beckett ? If you can't keep your cool in a disagreement among other Rangers, can we really expect you to keep it under fire and much more stressful situations?"

Maintaining a clear head to better lead others was his concern. ollie morales then asked about the situation among the various cities in the aftermath. "Nothing unusual to really report around Lilycove that I know of. Aside from meeting the same strange pokemon that can speak inside your head out in the Icelands. That mentioned some very concerning things regarding its existance. I've long since made that report already and can be read at everyone's leisure." He was still curious about the thing. How it absorbs other pokemon, then just...let them out of its body as it takes part of their power. But it was gathering power, and then was supposed to return to its creator that concerned him.

Shalin Nariya soon joined them. Julia Davis seemed to be aquiented already, but didn't know that Shalin was a ranger. With a friendly smile, he nodded at the newcomer. "Shalin, come join us. How's your Ninetails doing?" Last time they'd seen each other was on a mission to find out what a larger than life Ninetails doing in a particular habitat, disturbing the area so much that rangers were called. Turned out, it was Shalin's that was stuck in customs. Hopefully someone got fired over that and anyone else's situation that was similar. That was a travesty!

Shortly after, the meeting started. Nodded at Julia's returning comment, he listened in. Annalise was stepping down, and Razz Kingsman was stepping up. Oliver hadn't had any real dealings with the man, aside from him fighting with others that caused an outcry last meeting. So he'll reserve judgement for now. Though it was interesting that he was going to command from Slateport City. After clapping for the promotion, Oliver watched and waited. Orion Lykos struck first, raising a concern. Working both with Silph and as a Ranger had to be tiring, but a conflict of interest? Or was it the location?

Clearly, Oliver needed to do some digging, since he didn't know how the two were connected...

Oliver saw a lot of idle chatter. He more wanted to relax as he contemplated that strange Pokemon's words a bit more. Of all times that the encounters popped up in his mind, it was just before a major meeting. He had made his reports about the likely Psychic-types abilities and words, but nothing is known about it. The red head soon found himself being greeted by another ranger. Julia Davis he believed was her name. "Yo. Go ahead. Julia Davis, right? I don't think we officially introduced ourselves. Oliver Shrakes." At least he didn't believe so. He more or less just heard her name through the grapevine. He didn't really remember if she was one of the ones to make the last meeting interesting. Likely not.

He would have remembered if she did. Well, he hoped so, so much happened that it was hard to keep up who was hurling insults or food at who. Or airing out greivances in the most unproffessional ways possible. "Any chance you know what this meeting is about?" Looking at the time, he didn't realize it was actually pretty close to starting. Well, maybe he'll get the answer to his question sooner than expected.

This was probably the first time he's been to Ever Grande City after reporting for duty with transfer papers. Johto's form of sending help. Oliver Shrakes brought over a simple cheesy pasta dish, and put it on the table with a host of other goodies. Like last time, there was already a good bit of people around. Though the only person he really interacted with extensively was Josh Devlin. They'd done a couple of missions together and a bit of exercising and Pokemon testing. The bad boy ranger looked around to see a few cool cats leaning up against a wall. Someone was already talking to them, even though at least the oddball one looked like he really didn't want to be here.

And so he just walked towards a random chair and sat down, trying to relax a bit. He did recognize annalise henderson from the last meeting. Where things blew up spectacularly and didn't exactly leave a good impression on him. But they did their jobs as assigned and managed to save Hoenn from a meteor. The red and black haired guy just observed for the moment, not wanting to be rude and butt into anyone's conversations.

"Who or what is your creator? Do you know what they intend to do with you after you copied more than a thousand Pokemon?" The ranger had more questions, but at the same time he didn't want to overwhelm or pester it too much. More so in this icy graveyard, he wouldn't want to join it.
