The charge beam works like a charm on breaking off parts of the giant fang that is embedded in the earth. Kano picks up a piece and inspects it closer, trying to determine species of the pokemon from the teeth only. However, she is underprepared for this kind of inspection - She doesn't bring her own microscope and many solutions to test it. Kano stares at the bigger fang and deemed that whatever the pokemon is that leave their mark - It must be a giant pokemon and knowing that fact, it actually reduced the scope by a lot. "Something from a canine family?" Kano hums look at the pieces of the fang once again. The other sign that she notices is that it is old.[break][break]

Kano collects some broken shards of the fang and puts them in different plastic bags and shoves them into her pocket while holding the last shard in her hand. Kano decides to look for Lulu wants to ask her about something but once she saw the transformation that Lulu has undergone, all she can do is to stare - "Fascinating. A chimera of a human and a Pokemon." Kano stares in awe, looking at the floating clayLulu (or Luludol?) Then suddenly, a nasty vomit falls from the sky. If it wasn't for her quick step back out of the way - She would have to bathe on it. "Ms. Lulu is everything okay?" Kano calls Lulu, if only Dusk is still around she would probably ground her down using her gravity. [break][break]

"Your current condition is currently due to not being adapt to the sudden change fast enough. Being hasty and forcing your adaptability would only do you no good. Come down and take a deep breath, close your eyes and open one eye at a time." Kano shouts advice to lessen the burden of Lulu's change. Then her eyes suddenly something from the fang that she destroyed from afar, from her current position she could see a canal-like structure within it. "Try to do that while I am off to inspect something else," Kano says to Lulu and goes back to the giant fang. "I should have expected that the cavity would be in this size," Kano ponders and decide to crawl in to the canal-like structure trying to find something worthwhile. [break][break]

There were many words that she has prepared in case of him being a low-tier businessman and demanded to speed the process up focusing on the profit only. However that words dashed out as he agree with her sentiment without any fightback. "It is good to hear that we share the same sentiment" Kano muses as her respect toward Mars grows at least for a bit. Kano is not someone who is easy to amuse but getting a sliver of respect from her is quite a challenge. A Klang appears from the corner and without the need of her to order Gen, he repeats what he did to the previous wild Pokemon and strikes them from behind before Kano captures them. "I have enough steel-type Pokemon for the fuel. If you have something that you want to say, feel free to say it now. If not, I want to go back to my lab and do preliminary research." Kano stares at Mars, waiting for an answer from the man.

Kano stays silent for a good while after listening to the man's question. Does she truly believe that? She could be careless about revolutionizing Rocket. She would use any means to leave her name of the passage of history, to prove to her family that they are wrong. She doesn't care if she treats Rocket as a stepping stone to her own goal. Gengar cast a HYPNOSIS to random wild Aron within the vicinity to make them asleep and he casually lifts her up like a sandbag. [break][break]

"If a scientist doesn't believe in what they work on" Kano muses for a moment, looking at the sky above. Her mask is slightly open revealing only her right eyes and she sharply stares at Mars. "Then who else? A scientist hates an empty pursuit as much as you are" Kano's eyes remain on him for a while before she closed back her mask and face away. "To answer your foolish question, yes." Kano declares.

Despite being a commercial hub within Hoenn's with extra security and whatnot, there is still a passage that is neatly packed in on the corner where no eyes lays upon them, not even a single security camera exists there and it is completely off the grid. Kano has learned about its existence for a while now, a place where smuggling happened almost daily. That's why she is right there right now, a certain Rocket client is asking for their assistance to smuggle a pokemon back to their abode within the hills. What the Rocket nor the smuggler knows - The client is Kano's proxy as she wants to get a pokemon for an experiment. [break][break]

This job will not be handled alone, a nurse within the Rocket decides to join in and help her on sneaking the pokemon to the Hills. Kano sits on the open terrace of a rather empty cafe that is near the passage, waiting for the girl to come while reading a newspaper and letting her coffee cools down.

Kano notices a figure creeping on the corner, peeking in curiosity. It must have been due to owning the similar pokemon in great number but Kano can easily tell what it was. Kano calls for Gengar and she quickly dives down to the shadow and sneaks to the Voltorb's behind and quickly strikes it and incapacitated it due to the suddenness of nature before Kano attempt to capture the pokemon. Martín del Mar also manages to capture a wild Zebstrika and answer her question. [break][break]

"Is that so," Kano says, has no desire to correct or wrong the guy. "Did you know, the inventor of lightbulb wasted more than a hundred lightbulb before it actually works?" Kano muses not elaborating more on what she meant by that. "Interesting isn't it?" Kano stares at Mars. It is hard to judge her expression as it is hidden under the mask.

While she was trying to run away, she could feel her body starts to levitate and noticed oscar clayton 's Xurkitree dragging her with them as they fly by. Kano didn't fight back and let her own body be dragged away by the newly made gravity witnessing the final stand that her Dusk made to protect her trainer. The action of her pokemon doesn't make her feel anything other than a shame that she now can't overwork dusk anymore and is in need to find another Pokemon to replace her. [break][break]

They finally managed to get out from the bamboo forest safely and Kano decides to jump down, getting out from oscar clayton's magnet rise. Kano can't help to notice a giant tree that looms from afar, from a quick calculation from the degree of her neck's elevation and the estimation of the tree's height - There is still a great distance between them. The survivor gathers around, well not actually gather around but they are on their own inspecting everything that they can find. Kano notices KING WAYLAND attempt to inspect something similar to a fang. Kano looks around to notice that the fangs create some sort of a closed area as if they are in the middle of an open mouth. [break][break]

"Hey dunderhead, you might not want to carelessly touch the fang" Kano shouts at KING WAYLAND trying to warn the man. As she takes out Gobanme and lets it unleash CHARGE BEAM to the nearest fang wanting to break it and take a closer inspection.[break][break]

The flow of time has passed since the accident within the Arceus Church and time has passed since her face got destroyed, Kano has been contemplating what she needs to be a field scientist - As she starts to find that holing herself up inside her laboratory would only lead her to nothing. After giving some thought, Kano arrives at the answer of stamina and self-defense technique. While she is a researcher, she can't trust herself to do a self-study regarding that matter. Hence, why she decides to exploit the human resource that is offered by Rocket. Sure, from many members within this organization there should be at least one that could teach her what she needs. [break][break]

After giving some research, then she manages to pick a person. Someone that is also involved in that accident in the past and the person that she borrows a pokemon for the sake of Exodus - Cillian Quinn. Kano has politely forwarded a message to him regarding her problem and the desire for him to teach her some self-defense techniques. With all of that, Kano stands, waiting, in the training facility complete with her helmet that softly glows purple light and a rather thick heavy jacket.

As the Zoroark falls with excruciating pain due to the poison that has been injected by Ceri's Crobat. Kano takes her time approaching the pokemon, letting the poison dig deeper into their vein. The surrounding starts to crumble revealing, starting to show the reality but it is still not complete as the Zoroark still remain conscious. Kano's eyes bore right to the begging Zoroark on the floor, "Let me end your suffering now" Kano says calmly as the sound around her started to diminish. She snaps her finger and both Nibanme and Gobanme, jump to the sky and releases CHARGE BEAM together creating an explosion on where the groveling Zoroark was. As the beam hit, the surrounding completely shatters and they return to the forest. [break][break]

"Let's go" Kano declares as she now leads Ceri to the exit. [break][break]

The pain that arose from within, obstructed the pipe to breathe hindering one of the basic necessities for humans to survive. Yet, no fear nor despair presents in the eyes of the doctor - It has way past being fearful. Not once or twice, the doctor performs a makeshift defibrillator with her own hand to force herself to exhale and inhale at the smallest time frame, a procedure that she can't keep doing repeatedly as it will only bruise her chest more and possibly damage her rib cages. Yet, even with that danger looms around her - Another danger arrives as the sand tries to swallow her. [break][break]

The intellectual doctor has reduced to a frightful mess, her eyes turn lizardlike as if there is something is possessing her. Her own pokemon takes a step back feeling fear from their own trainer, a new kind of fear from the usual fear that Kano instills in them. Brain started to turn white, clouding herself from making a sound judgment. A hiss comes out from her mouth as she sprung to action and pummel the sand construct. [break][break]
