A man appears in a hurry but Kano is unable to tell who it is due to she is in the middle of excruciating pain. Kano tries her hard to order the man but every word that escapes from her mouth is a scream, an incomprehensible scream in pain as the pain goes in like a wave. Fortunately, the man is capable enough and douses her face with a stream of water. While it still incites some pain to her, it gradually lessened a little bit, and her hand waves around wildly trying to reach something. After several failed attempts, her hand land on the nearest scissors and hold them menacingly toward the man for a moment but in the next moment, she swiftly cut her own clothes and get rid of them as quickly as possible as some of the chemicals are splashed to her clothes too. She ignores the basic decency of stripping herself right in front of a man but this is an emergency situation. [break][break]

"Don't stop" Kano said weakly but demanding to the man, ordering him to keep rinsing her continuously. She tries to stand up with the help of the nearest table, her leg is still wobbly but she needs to reach the shelves. "Salve... There, quick" Kano mutters weakly, pointing to the shelves right in front of her.

Another week, another day for her to sacrifice another steel Pokemon. Now, it will be a repeat Pokemon that she has thrown. Kano decides to take Martín del Mar 's Mauwille for today's sacrifice as her previous attempt in sacrificing Mauwille is not fruitful. Without wasting any time, she tosses the Mauwille to the furnace and does the usual routine as she now starting to find it therapeutic watching the burning pokemon. [break][break]

"Umu, umu..." Kano nods, taking her specialties in mind. "That is what I have expected to. Initially, I thought that genetics lays on the blood but unfortunately, it is not" Kano mentions the small setback. Her eyes suddenly widened after reading the information of Castform capabilities. "Don't tell me..." Kano quickly put Castform to a machine that simulated different kinds of weather. Looking at how it changes its outward appearance to adapt, a strike of idea appears on her brain. Kano takes out the Castform from the machine and cut part of its skin with varieties of thickness levels to it. [break][break]

Her eyes widened as she inspect the layer of skin under the microscope, "eureka!" Kano announced, putting the skin to the previous machine and seeing that the skin changes under the different water. Under her observation, she notices a parasite-like organism that lives near the skin of Castform that lives mutualistically with the host. As it changes form to adapt to the weather by rearranging its own molecular structure, it also gives benefit to the Castform itself. "The key of its changing form is due to this organism that lives in a mutualism relation with the Castform. I'd say that if you can bioengineer the parasite to build a mutualism relation with your coolant, it should serve your purpose" Kano mentions from her observation. Extract the organism from the layer of the skin and put it on the microscope, wanting to observe it further.

A dusted shelves filled with varieties of chemicals from safe to death-inducing if you don't handle it with care is displayed in front of Kano right now. She let out a sigh can't wait for the volunteer, Tempest Quinn , to come to help clean this small clinic that she owns to fill a spare time outside her time doing personal research which is not much. As she was busying sorting it out, dumping the expired chemical properly - Suddenly, Gem and Dusk enters while wrestling and carelessly hit the shelves creating a shockwave throughout the shelf. From the wave, a particular chemical that has a potent corrosive property falls and splashes right to Kano's face. [break][break]

A loud scream echoes, every molecular on her face feels like burning. The pain that she is feeling right now is indescribable as she writhe on the ground. Gem and Dusk just stand there looks confused and have no sign of them helping. If there is no one comes really soon, Kano would be dead anytime soon.

The bamboo that surrounds her starts to sway, while Kano is not a superstitious woman - But she felt there is something wrong is happening right now. The horn that she shoves right to her pocket suddenly turns to dust. Then, that is when she noticed the brown praying mantis that leaps from one bamboo stalk to another, prying their pray and judging from the line sight - Kano is one of the prey. "Shit" Kano curses as she slowly takes a step back. THEO BECKETT 's voice rang clearly urging everyone near him to run. Without sparing any words to Theo, Kano decides to move alongside the group. Dusk follows her from behind and uses GRAVITY with the hope of slowing them down, giving them extra time to create a distance between them. "The physiology share some resemblance to what a bug-type pokemon would look like and has a low chance for it to also be a ground-type pokemon, due to the coloring" Kano muttered her observation while running away. Her breath starts to run heavily, "I really need to exercise more, huft..." Kano tries to regulate her breathing as she runs. [break][break]

As the will o wisp suddenly appeared, Ceri quickly sprung in action to authenticate the credibility of the will-o wisp. Blade of winds arises from her Crobat to the dense foliage creating a wave. A big shadow suddenly comes out from the bushes and a wild Zoroark appears baring mischievous fangs. "You finally come out, huh?" Kano chides in annoyance and both, Nibanme and Sanbanme, catch her mood and start to attack the wild pokemon. Nibanme covers its body with electricity and charges toward the Zoroark but the Pokemon evades it easily but the attack doesn't stop there as Sanbanme's body starts to illuminate and Nibanme quickly swerves and hits the Zoroark due to the magnetic field. As Nibanme hit, the surrounding suddenly wavers a bit but quickly return back as the Zoroark try to escape. "We need to make that Pokemon faint!" Kano orders as they start to give him a chase.

The theory of the multiverse that has been proposed by Lulu earlier become much more apparent. Would this be a universe that derailed from quantum time in the slightest that create this version of the universe or it is a different universe itself with its own ruleset? Kano ponders as she finds herself within the massive bamboo forest like any others. Cry echoes throughout the place yet no sign of any Pokemon around them - Suddenly, a stone creature that shares a resemblance of Growlithe yet it has a peculiar feature that sets it apart from the usual Growlithe that she knows of. The statue spats a cryptic message as if they are the bearer of the death but Kano still fascinates upon the looks "What are you exactly?" Kano observes the statues closer, not wanting to miss any detail - Trying to find the difference from the usual Growlithe externally. Other than it bears a fluffier figure, there is no other visible distinct difference besides that. Kano plucks the small rock horn to get the number [break][break]

Kano shares her guesses to Lulu Flint while shoving the number to her pocket without sparing any glance at it. Now, does the difference in the knowledge of a pokemon will only stop here? Kano finds herself starting to get excited over this expedition. [break][break]

Kano nods after hearing the answer, while it is not actually necessary to kill the specimen but depending on the test that she conducts through a series of hypotheses - There is a chance for her to kill the specimen to find the answer. "Good, I want you to be my assistant throughout the test," Kano informs Lulu as she pulls down the plastic gloves to her hand and squirts some air out from the syringe. She turns on a recorder on her phone as she starts to do the first test, "Okay, test one will be commencing. Analyzing the compound of the Castform's blood to see if there is a factor within it to play a part in their adaptability" Kano announces the first hypothesis that she created since she enters the room and draws some of Castform's blood with the syringe. "Miss Lulu, I want you to take care of the image documentation over the blood image under the microscope. I will be putting the blood to the microscope now" Kano informs and put the blood to the palette and push it to a high-tech microscope where the display is being displayed on the nearest wall with high clarity. Kano observes the blood cell and everything trying to determine an anomaly of its structure. Occasionally, she plays around with the zoom lens and orders Lulu to take a picture of it. Kano jots down some notes and compares the picture that Lulu take from one to the other to find nothing significant. [break][break]

"Test one comes out with a failure." Kano declares as she turns off the microscope and takes out the blood palette and lets out a sigh. "If you have any feedback, feel free to voice out your opinion - Miss Lulu." Kano ponders as she is preparing for the next test.

The results that she got from Lucario are less than desirable. While it gives out a trace of elements from the melting pot, it is not a newfound element. Kano has been going out lately to hunt some steel pokemon and now unlike her previous attempt - Now, she is using her own newly captured Pokemon - Aron. Standing right above the furnace, Kano is prepared to throw the small Pokemon right to the blazing flame. Without wasting any time since she hates the heat of the furnace - Kano release the Aron and let her witness the Pokemon squirming in pain and agony within the flame. [break][break]

The concern and excitement that is proposed by Lulu made her hum thinking about the possibility of what she just said. "You could spend your energy on fending off those tendrils if you want to or I am sure that we won't have any shortage things to kill once we proceed further" Kano addresses KING WAYLAND 's desire to kill, pointing at the tendrils behind them. Tree of life [break][break]

One of many mysteries that Kano really wants to know better and once she heard about this expedition - Kano without a second thought join them. Now, she find herself within this mess of the living tendrils that tries to attack everyone that attempt to enter the trees. Kano toss a Pokeball and unleashes Dusk to the world with a single cry. Taking a step forward, completely ignoring the oncoming tendrils - Dusknoir fends off the tendril with manipulating the gravity and make the tendril steer aways from her. [break][break]

She notices Lulu Flint from the distance and decides to approaches her. While others are having troubles with the puzzle that is presented to them - Kano decides to observe and have a simple observation with Lulu. "What do you think that await us inside?" Kano casually asks Lulu Flint while looking at people using Unown to attempt to solve the problem. [break][break]

One would think that it is better to take someone who is bigger than @kris for guard duty. But, Kano could be care less about that - For her, anyone can do. If anything goes south, Kano wouldn't think twice to sacrifice the guard after all so shorter and weaker is better for that plan. Kano just waves her arm, ignoring what Kris nonchalantly says, and goes further. [break][break]

Then, they encounter two wild Pokemon and that is Aron and Joltik which one of them fulfills the criteria that she is looking for. "Dairoku, magnet rise" Kano calmly order one of her Voltorb, and the metallic content within Aron made him float to the air - Leaving him defenseless. "Gobanme, use CHARGE BEAM" Kano declares as Gobanme starts to collect energy from surrounding and unleashes a strong beam and hits Aron on close range. Leaving Aron barely conscious. Kano tosses one of her Pokeball to capture Aron. [break][break]

"I will let you handle the Joltik" Kano comments to Kris. [break][break]
