ULTRA PLANT: OCGG

[nospaces] [attr="class","ttrbase"] [attr="class","border1"] [attr="class","box1"] [attr="class","box2"] [attr="class","box3"] oscar clayton wastes no time. With unwavering conviction, he guides their group onwards and deeper into the Ultra Plant. [break][break] Ceri busies herself with measurements. She collects soil samples, air samples, and even samples from whatever liquid she can find (she doubts it really is water, at this stage). The strange humming is prevalent, and this too she takes a sample of: as part of the footage recorded by her dutiful Rotom. [break][break] However, the source of the sound soon shows itself: as a Stakataka that attacks them. [break][break] “Fuck! Run—” [break][break] Or not?[break][break] Just as she’s about to bolt out of there and leave the group behind (she totally would have come back for them, trust!), @gaultier somehow manages to make it stop, causing it to power down. Ceri pauses right on her tracks… already being a few metres away from where she had been when the Stakataka appeared. [break][break] “Huh… What did you say to it? Mon chouchou? Is that Kalosian?” A million speculations form in Ceri’s head at once, and she squints at Gaultier, wondering if he might be more than what he seems. He does seem surprised by his own actions, so there’s that, at least. She approaches cautiously, circling around the Stakataka… [break][break] “There’s a few explanations off the top of my head… The way you say ‘Mon chouchou’ could sound similar or identical to a command programmed into this Stakataka. It could have been taught to it, meaning that this one was likely trained by Megalopolans or someone else we don’t know of. If it was actually trained in Kalosian, maybe someone from a universe like ours travelled here... It could also just like Kalosian or your voice, but that’s more unlikely.”[break][break] No offense, Gaultier. Although, really, who likes the sound of Kalosian anyway? [break][break] "Ah, sure, we can try PARALYZING it, but I'd be careful given the environment..." Ceri comments in response to Gerald Kaiser's suggestion. She clearly means the storm, but this time no explanations are given before tapping on the small camera attached to her suit. "We might need PARALYSIS from a few pokémon to make it work. Pixel?"[break][break] The camera shakes, and from it emerges a small Rotom that zaps around the group, it's spectral form seeming energized by all the electricity in the air. It darts from side to side, looking at the Stakataka from a dozen angles before releasing a THUNDER WAVE[break][break] With the rolling of thunder, the stone formations nearby shake, debris falling off one of them to reveal a light. Stakataka. How many? That much is uncertain. [break] TLDR; [break] + Fascinated by Gaultier's Stakataka-training abilities. [break] + Has her Rotom use THUNDER WAVE but suggests that they may need more pokémon to properly paralyze the Stakataka + it's dangerous bc of all the electricity in the air. [break][break] THUNDER WAVE causes debris to fall off a nearby "rock formation", revealing more hidden Stakataka [break][break] PROMPTS; [break] 03 Involve the status condition, "paralysis" in a meaningful way.[break] 🗺️ CERI GLYNN's scientific knowledge and craft must be pivotal in this thread.[break][break] [attr="class","bot1"] [attr="class","credit1"] AZUL [newclass=.ttrbase] --accent: #8999BD; [/newclass] [newclass=.ttrbase] width:500px; [/newclass] [newclass=.ttrbase .border1]color: #a6abad; text-align:justify; padding-bottom:20px; background-image: url(https://img.nickpic.host/6RZHpQ.png); background-color:#000;[/newclass] [newclass=.ttrbase .box1] padding:25px; [/newclass] [newclass=.ttrbase .box2] background-color:#242424; font: 11px Poppins; text-align:justify; padding:25px; [/newclass] [newclass=.ttrbase .box3] height: auto;[/newclass] [newclass=.ttrbase .box3 b] color: var(--accent); font-size: 12.5px; font-family: Roboto; letter-spacing: 1px; [/newclass] [newclass=.ttrbase .box3 a] font-size: 11px; [/newclass] [newclass=.ttrbase .box3 u] color: var(--accent); text-decoration: none; border-bottom: solid 1px var(--accent);[/newclass] [newclass=.ttrbase .box3 hr] margin-bottom: 10px; border: solid 4px var(--accent); border-radius: 5px;[/newclass] [newclass=.ttrbase .box3 img] border: solid 1px #222;[/newclass] [newclass=.ttrbase .bot1] background-color: #242424; text-align: center; padding: 15px;[/newclass] [newclass=.ttrbase .bot1 img] padding: 0px 5px 0px 5px;[/newclass] [newclass=.ttrbase .bot1 .grey1] filter: grayscale(100%);[/newclass] [newclass=.ttrbase .bot1 .grey1 img] padding: 0px 5px 0px 5px; filter: grayscale(100%);[/newclass] [newclass=.ttrbase .credit1] margin-top: 5px; background-color: #242424; width: 60px; padding: 7px 0px 5px 0px; float: right;[/newclass] [newclass=.ttrbase .credit1 b] color: var(--accent); font-size: 12px; font-family: Roboto; letter-spacing: 1px; text-decoration: none;[/newclass]
