Having heard word of Granite Cave being home to Steel, Ground, as well as Fighting-Type Pokemon Dovac would head out with purpose. Gnawing at his lip he'd pull he'd push his sunglasses up to the bridge of his nose while pressing on, wearing nothing around his torso other than bandage wraps on his arms fearing not the cold of the cave that awaited him. Though he did have some rather warm knee high socks on. Nonetheless upon entering it he'd call forth both Pippa his Vulpix and his Electrike to either of his sides.

Stepping out of the lounge room and making his way to one of the open battle training fields once his Poke Dex had pinged him a notification for an open spot and partner, Dovac would begin to whistle a light tune to himself. Walking up to the Western side of the field Dovac would opt to call forth Piper his Vulpix, the pair standing in wait for whomever had accepted their battle challenge online.

As Dovac introduced himself he'd be left in shock as the older gentleman walked away as if he hadn't heard Dovac, maybe he hadn't even noticed him...But, it was at that same moment that another man, about his age give or take, slipped right in the void of company. This left Dovac pondering on the events transpiring shortly before he had arrived, had he stubmled upon the meeting of the two other men and had just noticed the one prior to their exit?

Mentally groaning before shoving it all in the trash within the confines of his mind Dovac would shake his head beforen odding in retort to his peer.

" Sorry didn't see you there, just that other fella' who's gone now...."

Clearing his throat for a moment the Trainer would then take the time to scan Ariados with his Poke Dex before continuing his reply.

" Nah, no real favouritism on this team. It's weird, some just feel like they almost need...require? I don't know how to put it, but a name just fits them. Others might not have names because they refuse them or we just haven't found one that fits. After all it's not like I want to name my Fire-Type, Ember or Ash and then meet a new Ember or Ash every other day, haha. "

Watching on then Dovac would witness "Valentine" capturing a bug-esque Pokemon, his eyes only shifting when he noticed a Flying-Type nearby, perhaps his new company had stolen the bird's lunch.

Dovac found himself remembering on how Route 117 had been explained to him as basically a straight and narrow from Verdanturf Town to Mauville City. However, he had found them lacking in the description of the number of Pokemon enthusiasts along the trail. From Breeders to Bug Maniacs, Triathletes in training, as well as even paired Teammates. Beyond this he was also unsure of what type of Pokemon might be in the area, on top of this he was one of the people who opted out of using his Poke Dex to scan for such details, it kept things exciting after all.

Along the way, with his Pokemon Electrike and Gnaw [the Totodile], Dovac would stumble upon a unique looking pair opposite to him. A heavily clothed man who wore glasses as well as a long scar along his face. But, it was the Pokemon at his side that was even more strange looking which would lead to Dovac whipping out his Poke Dex to scan it, being an Absol which was a foreign Pokemon to his home of Kanto that much being clear to him from the beginning.

" Oi', aren't you a bit warm out here wearing all that? Also, that Absol...Never seen one before, they're not around Kanto anywhere. "

Folding his own uncovered arms Dovac would relish the light breeze that came by and brushed up against his half-naked form, being that he wore pants and shoes, but no shirt or coat of sorts. This left his fair skin and tattoos to "shine" in the sun as the warm rays kissed his flesh.

" Names' Dovac, these are my Pokemon Electrike and Gnaw, he's a Totodile. "

Dovac's continued luck, or bad luck, at wandering into "missions" without being involved in them directly from the get go was beginning to become too frequent even for his tastes. With the rumor mill drawing him close to the Power Plant, it was what he saw and what he heard from there that sparked his adventurous side. Eventually sneaking into the place Dovac would simply hope to run into some Wild Pokemon or perhaps recover some useful item for himself during all of the dismay.

Still though he couldn't deny the fact that he had heard some darker intent among the whispers, some people hoping to keep the plant closed, protestors or even ecoterrorists possibly. And because Dovac had heard of this he knew they were likely to not only be outside of the building, but inside too. Because of this he'd opt to stay on his toes, more so than usual and would have Ookami his Electrike out to his left while his Zubat scouted around the place, using it's echolocation to the party's advantage. Despite this Dovac would still tote about a flashlight to guide himself rather than solely rely on Zubat to lead him around the dark. However it was through both of these he hoped to avoid any surprises that might be lurking about....

Eventually Zubat would begin to hiss and spit, it's way of wording to Dovac that there was a group like there's headed directly toward them. However instead of hesitating or pausing Dovac would lead his own trio forward, he was a little scared, but he was more anticipated about a fight!

Growing thirsty along the way, but not wanting to leave the task at hand Dovac would end up making himself a good ol' fashioned plane snowcone. Licking at the mound of snow in his hands at first he'd squint, having hoped the flavor would be more of water and less of what he had ended up with. It was beyond bland and almost tasted earthy, but it did well at parching his thirst while wetting his night dry mouth.

Continuing to work alongside Gnaw thereafter the pair would seek to bring their Snowbuddy to completion slowly, but surely.

Wandering one of the smooth “corners” of the stone pathway the entire trio would pause and tremble in amazement as well as shock for before them sat a meditating Hitmonlee. Whipping out his Poke Dex for a quick data breakdown Dovac would be just as swift to send his paired Pokemon into battle in hopes of surprising and overwhelming the meditating Fighting-Type. Surprisingly after the first two hits the Hitmonlee wouldn’t counter attack leading to Dovac being puzzled, but nonetheless the Trainer would toss a Poke Ball after his target in hopes of a successful capture.

His arrival into Mauvile City had been horrifying to say the least. The very first morning he approached her he was blessed with negativity of the highest regard, being a forcefully fused and now deceased Pokemon. From there he had heard tales of other similar incidents in the city, leading the Trainer to visiting a few of the spots if only to check the area to see if each location was at least somewhat similar.

Though he had taken no direct mission from the police or any League official, Dovac couldn't prevent himself from throwing himself into the fray nonetheless. Left wandering around the city with Sir his Galarian Farfetch'd at his left and Paras his Bug-Grass-Dual Type Pokemon to his right.
