arms shift and cross over her chest in an attempt to look intimidating.

"please," she murmurs, eyes narrowing closer to slits. "do elaborate."

the plain walls of this building feel so suffocating now. at first, they felt like relief, like hope, like salvation. and god, no one told her that there's no saving when the worst has already been done. maybe that little tidbit would've been nice... it would've saved her 25 dollars worth of hair dye and an address change.
