Cathrine was pleased, not only that Callan agreed to the proposition, but also because she now had something to look forward to. After all, the desert wouldn’t be special if you used it as an appetizer.

Anyhow, they left the room and were almost immediately met with their assigned assistant. Cathrine gave Cadence a once over, and immediately got the impression this was someone who’d tried this before. She gave the assistant, what-ever-her-name-was a small nod. And listened to the words given to her. She followed the assistant to where they were meant to be, hands locked firmly with Callan, leaving him no opportunities for escape.

She allowed Callan to take the lead, which he seemed to do almost naturally as he went on to ask about the Agenda, a subject which the assistant obliged to inform them about. It all sounded dull, that was until she mentioned the Violet Group’s chairman. She couldn't help but look a bit more interested at that point. She had to admit for all the pros that Callan offered, the chairman would certainly be an interesting connection to make. She couldn’t help but wonder if she would get the opportunity to bedazzle them. Either way, as they walked, she would prepare herself making sure she had both the right presence of mind and body as well.

“I am alright for now. Though I presume you or someone else will be nearby in case we will be needing anything, correct?” She figured it wouldn’t be the full-time assistant that fulfilled the role of on-hand slave, but rather an unpaid intern roped into this with the promise of opportunities.

Cathrine smiled at his response. He was right and she would not deign to deny it with fake humbleness. Though she knew as well as anyone that Callan's words came from a place of lust, a lust he was about to act on.

The Gardevoir wasn’t about to stay and watch, no matter however fun that could be for other parties, it was not at all for her. Human mating didn’t really do anything for her. Though she did sometimes wonder when her trainer would pop out an egg, like it so often happened for the Pokémon at the hatcheries. With a small wave she took the things her trainer wouldn’t need and left.

By the time the next few comments left Callan, he had already pounced upon her locking her in a deep kiss which she reciprocate. Though he was brave to do so given what lipstick and makeup she had applied, was still fresh. She felt how he leaned her further and further against the table.

But as she felt his hand moving dangerously close to the slit of her dress, she decided to end it right there. She gently pushed him away and said. ”Let’s not take it any further right now. We have an event to be at, and it wouldn’t do for you to look tired from the beginning.” a cheeky smile teased Callan. And as she straightened her dress once and went to walk to the exit of the room, she took an opportunity to whisper sensually into Callan’s ear. ”We can continue after the event.” and with that she tried to grab a hold of his hand and yank him along.

“No, not that one. And no certainly not that one.” Cathrine sighed as she looked upon her Gardevoir who stood stoically in the dressing room like another maid. “Dear, are you even trying?” Cathrine asked. The Gardevoir looked apologetically at her as she looked toward the choice of dresses she had brought along.

“Oh don’t look so sad. Remember, I do not want excuses I want improvement.” She turned her attention to the mirror inspecting herself. “This is neither a wedding nor a birthday. This is a charity event and we aren’t the hired entertainment.” A smirk formed upon her lips as she thought of Callan in the other half of the dressing room. “Which means, we need to work for their attention.” She paused for a brief second before gesturing towards the dresses. “Did you only bring those two?” The Gardevoir shook its head and pulled forth a third dress. Cathrine turned her attention to it. “Yes, yes this one has potential. What jewelry did you bring?” The Gardevoir pulled a few necklaces and earrings out from a small container.

“Hmmm. This could work.” Cathrine put on one of the necklaces from the container. It was a necklace with a baby-blue stone dice at the end, reasonably silly but would work just fine for grabbing the attention of the male gaze, especially considering where it rested. She then attached a pair of simple earrings with a dark-blue stone matching her hair color attached at the end of each. Nothing too fancy. She slipped into the deep-blue dress. It was a short and tight little backless thing held up only by a cloth-strop around her neck and reaching no longer than right before her knees and with a cleavage view that allowed little to the imagination.

She looked in the mirror. Too much? She would certainly get attention, though she doubted it would be anything but lecherous stares, not that she minded. It was only reasonable that a rocking musician such as Callan had a suitably attractive piece of eye candy.

She bent down and began to put on her chosen footwear. She was just finishing up with her shoes when Callan entered and in doing so probably got a view most men would envy him. “I am doing good. Do you think this is a bit too much?” She straightened up and turned around finally seeing Callan all fancily dressed up. He certainly looked the part, and she couldn’t say that she minded it one bit. “Wait, who are you and what have you done to my Callan?” She asked him teasingly.

The Gardevoir by her side sighed as she began to pack away the extra things. This was going to be a long evening.
