Pinned to the wall, Cathrine felt the control she so often preferred being stolen by Callan, thought theft was probably a strong claim, as she was an eager participant as well. It didn’t take long for the clothes to be peeled away revealing the form which the fabric had bravely fought to hide. And then, well the act began Cathrine hoping that nobody would accidentally stumble upon them for she had no intentions of holding back.

And so, after what felt like mere minutes, but was the full thirty minutes they were finished. She breathed heavily as she picked up her clothes and began to get dressed. Though they were the cause of it, she still noticed how heavy the air had become of the smell of copulation. She felt almost bad for whoever would find this room after they left.

With a careful eye, she watched for any stains Callan might have left behind, though all she saw was sweat. As she got dressed, turning to look at Callan in the process before asking. “Still alive?” She teased him, knowing very well that she had made him work his part as much as she’d done hers.

They barely even reached the Balcony before Callan turned to her with a mischievous smile. Oh no, I know that grin. She thought as she began to expect they weren’t about to head to that Balcony.

Callan entered one of the private rooms, quickly checking the place for any cameras or other such equipment. She followed along, as she heard the lock of the door click. She was then pinned against the wall. Callan’s lips pressed against hers, though he pulled away quicker than expected, a feat worthy of praise all things considered.

Cathrine’s smile grew equally mischievous as she listened to his plan. She had to admit it was tempting and typically in line with what she came to expect from Callan. “Oh Callan, dear.” She allowed one hand to run gently through his hair in an almost loving gesture. “I know you want to take revenge upon that disgusting piece-of-filth. But I am sure we would be the first suspects of such an act, plus knowing him he has video surveillance in his office.” Cathrine stated before she allowed a hand to run down Callan’s side.

“But I understand, it must be frustrating.” She spoke teasingly. “So, how about I let you have what he will never get.” The seductiveness of her voice made it abundantly clear what she was referring to. And just in case Callan was too dense, the direction her hand was moving in probably made it clear.

Introductions were quickly done and moved along to other more amusing topics. Cathrine spent most of the time just listening until Callan pulled her away from the group. She nodded in the process as he suggested they go meet with this Melody Miro.

She was mildly surprised when Callan referred to the woman by a nickname. Since she knew of her only by reputation, it surprised her a bit. Though as he quickly gave her a greeting kiss on the cheek, Cathrine couldn’t help but think A girl in every port, huh Callan? She figured Callan didn’t have such a relationship with Melody, she still thought it kind of funny.

When Callan introduced her to Melody. She gave a small courteous nod and said. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.” She figured coming with one of hundred needless pleasantries was unnecessary. Surely Melody would be praised to the heavens by her fans. And Cathrine hadn’t truly been paying attention to the performance. Instead, letting the two musicians talk about their craft seemed the better option.

But as she had resigned herself to her fate. Another Performance began. She followed this one with a fair bit of interest. She even found the little party trick at the end amusing. But in the end, they were finally granted what they all came here for, entrance to the Casino. Not long after a Pokémon appeared before her offering her a Pokéball filled with 10 complimentary chips. She nodded thankfully before returning her attention to Callan and whatever he was doing.

She hadn’t expected to meet anyone but Pokémon down here. So it came as no surprise when the Dragapult’s head popped up. “Hi there.” Her lips formed a sweet smile as she gazed upon what she assumed to be a wild Pokémon, only for her to be disappointed as moments later the trainer appeared.

He didn’t even bother to introduce himself. Still, she kept her smile friendly as he asked. She shook her head and said. “I assure you, I am not.” She paused for a moment, thinking she might have heard some rumbling coming from somewhere nearby. “And what about you?”

And before the answer could be given, an Abomasnow’s roar echoed through the walls of the Shoal Cave. In the distance, a bright blue light began to shine, quickly followed by a sudden decrease in temperature Ice formed upon the walls shooting towards them along with the cold. Before Cathrine could even as much as issue a command her Gardevoir went into action.

She began to shine a bright blue sending PSYCHIC energy toward the angry Pokémon. The force slammed into it quicker than its Sheer Cold attack to hit them. Halting the attack in progress and slamming the Abomasnow up against the cavern wall. Gardevoir kept pressing the Abomasnow until its body gave up due to unconsciousness. Before she used her ability to move things with her mind to fetch a Pokéball from her trainer’s belt and sent it flying towards the Abomasnow, hoping to capture it.

Cathrine nodded at the Gardevoir in approval of her efforts, before she turned her attention to the other trainer to see if he was alright.

OOC: Gardevoir used Psychic to defeat the Abomasnow before its SHEER COLD attack could hit. A Capture attempt was then made.

It brought her some measure of comfort to see how Mr. Bernstein slowly lost his composure. Enough that she had the strength to move on along with Callan. It was almost palpable how the tension inside of Callan dissipated as she did her little stunt. Dora quickly guided them away in the process.

She felt Callan’s lips press against Cathrine’s head and heard his whispered thank you and the small comment about how much of a pig Bernstein was. “I should be thanking you. Had you not been here, he would have been much more assertive.” A grim look found its way into her eyes. She knew his type, he wouldn’t take no for an answer. He would have had what he wanted whether she agreed or not, had the presence of another man capable of punching him in the face, not been there. “But unfortunately that’s the industry for you.” She spoke grimly her words whispered to not let anyone else but Callan hear.

Luckily Dora pulled them away from their grim topic of discussion with an apology. “Darling, do not blame yourself. He is not the only shark in these waters. I was prepared to meet at least one of his type, the fact that it had to be him, was just bad luck.” Cathrine assured their helper. She wished for her to be riddled with guilt by something which she had control over. Whether they had been warned or not, would have made little difference.

And so they moved on to the next part of their schedule, or they would have had Callan not requested a small break, which Dora most graciously allowed. “Yeah, I will join. I do need some fresh air.” And so she followed Callan to the balcony, stepping out onto it as the first of the two. Quickly heaving in a breath of the fresh air before Callan could fill it with his toxic smoke.

The air was abuzz with life. Even as Cathrine took a moment to get her bearings, as it was required due to materializing with no more than laced high heels against the pavement. Luckily she was used to teleporting around with the help of her own Gardevoir, but today Callan Young ’s Gardevoir had the pleasure of transporting the two of them. She took a quick moment to make sure the simple black dress she wore was sitting appropriately, before allowing her hand to check up on her hair situation, both hair and dress were as they should be neat and on point.

“Do not worry, I will pull you away before you squander all of your life savings.” She jokingly responded, knowing very well that an establishment like this would certainly try to steal all that it could from Callan. Nevertheless, Callan took her hand interlocking his fingers with hers, and lead her into the sea of people. She would follow along, clearly letting Callan be the more forward one this time. With this crowd, there was a higher chance of him knowing people than the other way around.

And her assumption had been correct. It didn’t take long for them to reach a fountain that provided the backdrop for a rather growing group of well-looking people. She allowed Callan to do the talking, and she would do the looking. It was nice to see him among people he knew for once. And so while he did some talking, she faintly began to hear the sounds of a performance going on somewhere.

Though it seemed she drew the attention of one of the people in the group. She turned her attention to Elisabeth Fiorelli and gave her a small courteous nod as she spoke. “Indeed, we have not. My name is Cathrine Fisher, it is a pleasure to meet you, Miss?” She humbly requested the name. Though it was not often that she immediately took a position of humbleness, something about Elisabeth made it feel appropriate, She chalked it up to simply being an outsider among a group of friends.

Though her attention was quickly pulled away from Elisabeth and onto one BARNABY FINCH, who seemed to be a rather flamboyant personage. Going so far as to introduce himself by name AND profession while offering a handshake. Cathrine saw no reason to deny his request, even if she had just directed an introduction towards Elisabeth. And so took his hand matching his pace and firmness to the best of her ability. “It is a pleasure to meet you as well. Cathrine fisher is my name Aspiring Author is what I’d like to claim my profession to be. But unfortunately, it is modeling which puts food on the table.” Figuring she would match Barnaby’s introduction with one of her own.

And so she would return to fade into the background letting Callan once more become the lead singer of their pair.

The disrespect never stopped coming. To be honest, she had come to accept that it was just a thing in the model industry. Bernstein wasn’t the first nor would he be the last. She accepted that she had done what she could. He was intent on forcing some nickname upon her, and it didn’t matter whether she accepted it or not. She replied only with silence as he would nonetheless continue talking.

Bernstein announced a toast. Experience told her where this was going. He would make a show of force, to try and cow them into submission. A display of power among his peers. She felt how Callan’s fingers tightened around her own. She tried to reassure him by applying force to measure up to his but knew that that would be a futile endeavor.

Mr. Bernstein turned his attention back to Cathrine. He mockingly asked how much she made part-time modeling. It didn’t come as a surprise to her that his thoughts lay only in the wealth acquired. And to a point, she was unaffected by his mocking. Still, it didn’t feel nice to have this man openly mock her even if he covered it up as friendliness. Now, she could handle it. But she feared Callan couldn’t.

Her attention moved to Callan as he spoke. Though Bernstein ignored him completely, moving on to trying to entice her with a reminder of how much wealth he had. She looked at him and smiled. For a second she felt the tug of enticement. But in the end, she had standards. Still, she gave him a polite nod, before she said. “I appreciate the offer. Mr. Bernstein.” She paused, giving him just enough time to think she’d accept on the spot. “But I am sure as a connoisseur of this industry, you understand that an artist such as myself must be very selective with whom they work, and for now I have what I need. However, should the opportunity arise I will keep your offer in mind?” And so she lied to the best of her ability. She would never indulge in his offer, but she knew she had to be gentle with this man or he would try to strong-arm her into submission.

“Until then, I do believe I will enjoy playing with this… What did you call him.” She moved closer to Callan escaping his grip and replacing it with a heavy controlling arm around Callan’s shoulder, in one way claiming him as her sovereign territory. “Oh right, this boytoy of mine.” She couldn’t help but speak the last part a bit maliciously. As if she was vetting the knives of revenge upon the words of Mr. Bernstein, though she did try to hide it, one could only keep up the façade for so long. “Now, if you will excuse us. I am sure other people would like the pleasure of keeping you company.” And so she gently nudged for Callan to move on just as she would. And she hoped Dora had somewhere or someone else to be with.

Shoal cave. A cavernous system of icicles and rock. Not usually a place you’d consider finding a person like Cathrine. But here she was. She was experiencing writer’s block and figured visiting a place of similar locals that were giving her issues in the latest draft of her book, would do her good. And so here she was.

Dressed warmly for the occasion did she enter the place. By her side an elegant Gardevoir walked, holding a lantern as their only means of lighting in the cave. Though it was surely insufficient for the job as the darkness fought valiantly back.“Voir?” The question came rather abruptly from the Gardevoir as they walked ever further into the cave.

“Oh Darling, don’t be like that. If there was anything dangerous in here then surely they’d have put up a sign at the entrance.” Cathrine reassured her Gardevoir as they continued forward upon the slippery path. She figured even if there was a danger to be found Gardevoir could just teleport them out.

Cathrine would be lying if she said she was surprised at his behavior. Bernstein was a leech and a fat one at that. She felt his stubby fingers meeting her own, a fat thumb running against the back of her hand, clearly using the opportunity to get a sleazy sensation of her skin, before the handshake ended. Though that wasn’t even the worst part of it, oh no, that award went to the very fact that Bernstein barely acknowledged her as anything more than a pretty ornament, stares included. Granted that was pretty much included in her job description, but it still wasn’t a polite thing to do.

A brief measure of schadenfreude washed over her as she saw the smile fade from Bernstein’s face. But she knew it wouldn’t last. The man was too experienced to give up due to such a simple rebuttal. And she knew he had already decided on who would be his next prey.

“Mr. Bernstein. I must insist, I was given a name for it to be used. And I would very much appreciate it if you would do so.” Keeping him at a distance, away from nicknames was the first step to keeping him at arm’s length. Though she made sure her voice wouldn’t directly push him away, it certainly wouldn’t appear to be enticing him either, but she figured he didn’t care. And she was confirmed in such an assumption as he went on to guess her profession and reasons for coming here. “Yes, you have the right of it. I do model from time to time.” There was no reason to hide that, though there was no need to mention it was but a side-hustle for her.

“As for why I am here. I came at the invitation of a very dear friend of mine.” She gestured towards Callan, figuring that if he intended to get on her good side hoping it might lead to something further, then he might be enticed to look favorably towards Callan if he knew of their friendship, if for no other reason than to gain some good standing with her.

She nodded reassuringly at Callan, knowing that he would take the challenge head-on, and maybe fail in the process but then he would’ve at least given his best shot. And with that, they reached their destination.

A speaker announced their entrance loudly for all attendees to hear. Suddenly the attention of the guests was upon them, but it stayed there no longer than the briefest of minutes as other celebrities of equal status attended this event. Soon they were but a part of the fold. A fact, which she assumed Callan was far more pleased with than she was.

And then the whole main ordeal began. Those who actually were there to meet them and maybe even greet them. Unlike Callan, Cathrine worked through them like a professional. Almost making it seem like each conversation was personal, friendly as if they’d known each other for years. Not she had ever met most of these. But it was quite easy to make it seem so, even to the shy ones who quickly opened up to her.

But the stream of fans didn’t last forever. A small breather was had, giving Callan enough time to look towards her for approval. She gave him yet one of many reassuring nods. He had handled it better than she expected. Now they were left with but the heaviest of hitters, those who had deigned themselves too important for the initial rush.

Now that they had the time, Callan went over to her and tried to whisper something to her. But he was interrupted by a man whose wallet hopefully matched his stature. While Cathrine showed no outward signs of it. She found herself filled with disgust. Oh, she knew that man, not from experience but by reputation.

It was clear to all, bright as day, that it wasn’t Callan he had arrived for, even if the limp weak hand-shake hadn’t made that apparent. Still, it wouldn’t do to antagonize him, if even half the things she had heard about him were true. And so she gave him a pleasant smile. Callan’s movements didn’t go without notice, mainly because he pulled her closer and adjusted himself to take the lead. Much as she appreciated the sentiment, she figured she could handle him. If nothing else, she didn’t want Callan risking his newly acquired livelihood for her.

She extended a hand as he asked for her name, aiming for a shake but preparing for some lecherous attempt at chivalry. “My name is Cathrine Fisher, it is nice to meet you, Mr. Bernstein.” Luckily she was a very good liar, though from what rumors she had heard he probably didn’t care either way.

Bug-type Pokémon were not often thought of as elegant or beautiful, but some had a certain allure to them. Whether it be their honey, their behavior, or their looks that attracted trainers from all over, was impossible to guess. But one thing was certain many coveted the grand prize of owning one of those rarer Queen Bees.

Cathrine was no different. Taking a quick teleporting detour to route 113. She would gaze upon the swarm as it flew about aggravated by the sudden sight of Crystalblooms. She wondered why it bothered them so, and considered for a moment indulging in a bit of research on the subject, thinking it might provide some material for her next book.

But she decided against it. She had a schedule to uphold, and so she would move on to the reason she came here, to catch one of the bees. Retrieving a Pokéball, and aimed at the target she had in mind. She threw the ball and hoped it would strike true.

She was barely off the stage before she felt Callan’s hand wrapping around her own. Like a lost child, he seemed to seek comfort in her presence. And she would be lying if she said she didn’t like it. A stray thought crossed her mind. That could be a good plot thread in a novel. A socially awkward rich rock star falls in love with an average woman/secretly supermodel and starts a secret relationship. She archived the thought for later thinking, as she had to focus.

And she began to focus just in time to notice Dora and her widening eyes. Cathrine greeted her with an inviting smile. There was no need to fear, she might be a diva but she wasn’t evil. Callan took the lead asking Dora for the next part of their schedule. Cathrine followed along, and while they made their way to the next destination he would offer her a question. “Request granted. But be warned. My coaching sessions can be quite expensive.” She spoke with an almost equal mix of sultriness and teasing. She figured he’d get the hint.

Their conversation moved on to tips as well as a little playful comment made by Callan. “And I am sure you wouldn’t enjoy that.” She teased. “But on a serious note. It depends on what kind of people they are. In most cases, it will be enough to just let them talk and reply as appropriate. Though if they are the quiet sort, you might have to break the ice. But since these people have money, I don’t think that will be the case, people like that often like the sound of their own voice.” She explained, though quietly so, so she wouldn't offend anyone that might accidentally hear it. And then Callan leaned closer and whispered a request. One which she had no issues whispering a reply to right back at him. “Don’t worry. I will take the lead on this one. But be warned, if they want to talk with you, you need to be ready.”

And so as they reached the appointed place for the meet and greet, she moved ahead by just a bit taking the lead and greeting those who had paid ridiculous amounts of money to meet them, or should she say meet Callan. Even if she wanted to be, she knew she wasn’t the main attraction.
