To be completely honest, Tam always kind of forgot about this part: about the fact that whenever he threw the ball and successfully hit the dunk tank’s target (which had happened every single time he tried so far), he would be the next to go sit in the tank and potentially get dunked. Which, in this case, had actually happened right away, thanks to one of his underlings no less, but even though some people would probably be at least mildly annoyed by this fact, all Hailee Jacobs got from him when he was stepping off completely soaked and she went to take the seat was a passing ”Jacobs.”. No more than that. Leave it to Tam to act indifferent even when dripping.

At least this time he had remembered to bring a towel and to wear swim trunks, although admittedly neither of those things do much to change the way his white shirt sticks to his skin even after he has gone through the trouble of drying off as much as possible. Oh well, the sun will do the rest, won’t it?

”So… Hot dogs?” At least he’s not the only one who’s soaking wet, even if in this case Tam himself is the one to blame. After all, he had dunked @marshall. Does he regret it, though? Nope, not at all, not even if Marshall had actually been nice enough to actually wait for him after getting out of the dunk tank and had even invited him to get lunch.

Hoenn's population isn't great at Mantine Surfing. That's the realization that hits Tam when he makes it the beach after another day of enjoying the Splashfest. People fall off their Mantine left and right, some even losing pieces of clothing in the process. It's quite the sight.

Surprisingly enough, the incense they he had found on the previous day still happened to be functional despite having been left underwater, and although Tam has no idea when he’ll actually use such a thing, it’s always good to have those around, isn’t it?

When Sawyer calls his Ditto excitable, Tam silently considers it for a short moment. He had never thought of it that way, since to him the Ditto has always been more of a trickster than anything, but maybe the problem is that it does have a little too much energy. Would it be less prone to pulling pranks if he began playing with it for a few hours a day or something? It’s worth the shot, so he makes a mental note on that.

”Hm? Rocket?” He’s caught up thinking of all that when Team Rocket is mentioned, but if there’s anything strange about it, it goes right over the ranger’s head. Being based in Slateport, it’s often that he has to deal with poaching and things of the like, but in those cases Team Rocket members also aren’t the only usual culprits. ”Nah, probably not up here. Maybe in Littleroot or Oldale, but most farm pokémon aren’t valuable enough to make the trip up to Fallarbor worth it.”
