Alex become quiet fond of the Wingul's Perch the waterside café he had found in his previous search for a new fishing spot usually partaking in morning tea there to start his day. [break][break]

With the fishing contest still in full swing, Alex took to casting his reel into the canals beside the café in hopes of a big catch once more. [break][break]

Alex's little secluded inlet had not been giving him the best of luck in terms of catches, so Alex decided to use the excuse of needing a new fishing spot to explore Slateport properly only having been to the hotspots of the Summer Festival after his arrival to Hoenn.[break][break]

After hours of exploring and getting lost in the city, Alex came across a waterside café with a set of stairs leading down to the waterway. Alex took a seat down by the water and began casting his rod into the water. [break][break]

Alex went over to the usual fishing spot when he began to see the sign of an afternoon rainstorm begin to form after the slightly better luck the previous day.[break][break]
