while some ignorant individuals would think lorelei to be soft for not turning her dogs upon roman's team, it was quite the opposite. the proud houndoom stalked circles around the manectric and arcanine while the puppy-like houndour happily skipped behind its mother - scowling ditto atop its back. the ditto had small reigns on the puppy, using it as means of transportation. the humanoid dog's little pets did little to make lorelei's party even begin to register their presence as anything other than rabid rats trying to nip at the ankles of their trainer. the houndoom did its best to keep a watchful eye on roman and his group while the houndour did little to aid in the constant mission. the ditto was something else entirely and everyone knew it in the way the manectric, arcanine, and even roman himself would come to scowl upon the pink blob who did nothing more than scowl back. this ditto had the demeanor of an old disgruntled war veteran who's gone to jail one too many times, all too happy to help its trainer with whatever insidious plan she was cooking.[break]
"it seems they're raring to go to me," lorelei responded flatly, her gaze hidden behind lowered lids that focused on the manectric and arcanine with discerning eyes. "i think mother will make a good sparring partner," the redhead said with a snap of her fingers and a point forward, the 'mother' in question stepping into the ring with a proud look down its nose at the two fellow dog-like pokemon. the houndoom wasn't new to fighting, as shown through its dents and other scars scattered throughout its body. even if it was a two-on-one fight, it wouldn't back away -- she knew better than to shy away from any fight, knowing much worse would be waiting for her if she did.[break]
"so have you decided the format?" the owner of all involved asked, her gaze now focused on roman's features steadily. "how do you want their blood to be spilled today? two on two? one on one? two on one? you know i'm always looking to refine my assets, just let me know how it would best convenience you now."
