Flying in on a Charizard, Dorian attempted to blast the soldier with a Flamethrower. Despite the fact that the Blastoise extinguished the fires with a Hydro Cannon, the murderous pyromaniac's demeanor didn't falter.

"Funny, aren't you the one on the losing side?", Dorian retorted.

"Not only did that rat Weyland stab us in the back, but he couldn't even kill you! Looks like I get to finish what he started!"

A Magmar lifted his arms, clearing the skies of clouds. A Sunny Day washed over the battlefield, ushering in an oppressive sunlight.

The Charizard, taking in the unimpeded sunlight, before unleashing a Solar Beam towards the Blastoise.

"Then I can assure you, Lulu, that if they are foolish enough to try again, they will burn all the same!", Dorian declared.

He kept his promise to the Scientist before. And he had no intentions of letting her down in the future.

"To tell you the truth, me and Underboss Quinn - don't exactly see eye-to-eye.", Dorian began solemnly. "You see, we were both involved in the Takeover of Kanto, back when I was a Beast. We ended up on the field together, and he got a frontrow seat to - my dealings with some unruly civilians. Though he didn't really say anything, given our disparity in rank at the time, I could tell he was mortified and disgusted by what I did.", he explained to Lulu.

"I have no ill will towards your brother, but I know he isn't exactly a fan of me. Though admittedly, I hope to rectify that over time.", he finished.

As the building burned, Dorian grinned wickedly. The former Beast was always one to admire his own work, and now was no exception. He hoped the fool they left inside suffered enough, before smoke inhalation did him in.

When Maki suggested they freeze the other three to death, Dorian grinned. "I like the way you think. But I've made - other arrangements for them. Let's just say that certain people in our R&D wing need nest subjects, and they've been selected as our - lucky contestants.", Dorian replied to the heiress, his tone low and wicked, so the prisoners didn't overhear them.

"Play it off like we're just detaining them for a bit. I want their new 'roles' to be a surprise.", Dorian instructed, before getting back into the van. Once Maki was inside, Dorian drove off to a warehouse owned by a Rocket shell company.

"Don't worry, children, this wild ride is about to reach its exciting conclusion!", Dorian jeered to the bound hostages in the back of the van, his tone eerily cheerful.

"What!? Halla's in Solitary!?", Dorian asked, clearly incensed by the revelation.

"Y-yes, sir.", the unlucky Rocket Associate stammered.

"Well, what did she do!?", Dorian asked the Rocket Associate. His words were spoken with a slow clarity, one that dripped with fury.

Upon being told why Eris found herself in solitary confinement, Dorian's hand balled into a tight fist, one that threatened to ram itself into the Associate's gut.

"Which cell is she in now?", Dorian asked the Associate, after a tense moment of silence on his end.

"I-42.", the Associate uttered.

"I'll handle Halla myself.", Dorian told the man, before storming off towards the Solitary Ward.

He only hoped that they didn't rough the poor girl up too much.

The Houndoom was hit by the Dig, being launched back towards Dorian's feet. Despite the hit he took, Bony Buddy was still conscious, albeit barely.

The Mad Dog recalled the hellhound. But before he could replace him, the detective tossed the backpack with the bomb towards him, with the ghoul dog firing a Will O Wisp towards it.

The Gensect immediately zipped back over to their master in a burst of Extreme Speed. The Genesect attempted to grab Dorian, and get him out of the blast radius.

By the time the Will O Wisp hit, and the bomb exploded, Dorian and the Genesect barely cleared the radius. Trees, and other foliage fell down, blocking off the path back to the detective.

"So much for a fight.", Dorian remarked, dusting himself off, and having his Genesect take to Flight Mode again. The Mad Dog took off, heading back to the nearest Rocket outpost to report the bad news.

Dorian, and his team, ended up becoming separated from Gwyar in the ensuing chaos. Despite this, the Mad Dog, thanks to the firepower and experience on his side, managed to handily wipe out the Paradox horde on his end.

In the aftermath of the battle, the Mad Dog found a unique set of tracks. The Mad Dog took out a camera, snapping a picture of the tracks.

Perhaps someone at the Lab would know what they were.

Before Dorian's departure, he noticed the piece of flint landing on the ground. Ryker's signal to hurry up and get out of there. After his own Salazzle reunited with him, Dorian recalled the Poison-type, before jetting off on his Genesect.

Dorian met Ryker up in the air, grinning ear to ear. "A close call, but mission accomplished! Burny Birdy has their gear, and they can retrieve it back at base.", he told the assassin.

If Dorian had a shot at , the Mad Dog would've gladly taken it. For some reason, the two had always seemed to miss one another. Even when Dorian partook in the failed invasion of Verdanturf, he never ran into the disgraced Interpol Agent.

Dorian began to advance on the Galarian, putting his guard up for the upcoming melee.

Unfortunately, a horde of Paradox Pokemon began to pour in, converging towards them.

"You got lucky!", Dorian declared, as he sent out his Charizards to handle them.
