THE BORDER: MENL

Morrigan’s steely gaze met with Lulu’s, and for a moment she was unsure. Unsure if Lulu truly bought into her sudden question or if she had already deduced what Morrigan had meant to say. But if Lulu had, she didn’t show it. Instead she returned the very question Morrigan offered her. And all Morrigan answered was “Curiosity.” The Houndoom by Lulu’s side was drawn to something else. Morrigan’s eyes followed Lulu as she almost jumped in fear. Her body trembled at the sight of the snail-like creature. She reached for a Pokéball, but failed to hold onto it properly. With palms sweaty, the Pokéball proved surprisingly slippery, and jumped out of her grasp falling to the ground. She hurriedly bent down to reach for it. But she did not make it in time. A Shadowy hand grasped the ball. Pale skinned slender fingers holding onto the sphere lifting it up. Her eyes followed the movement and she found herself stunned. Surprise, fear, and a smidgen of anger coalesced in her eyes. “What are you doing here, Little Sister?” The Shadow’s form began to reflect an all too familiar person. The long pink hair, and disdain in its eyes. “You shouldn’t be here. You aren’t ready. You aren’t good enough. You should have just been a good girl, stayed quiet, stayed at home. Done as our parents had told you to do.” The Shadow of her older sister continued. Around her, battle was starting. And yet the only thing she could do was step backward a few nervous steps. “That’s right, run away, coward. Be like them, move on, abandon the inconvenient and attempt to reclaim it when it is convenient.” Morrigan knew this wasn’t Elinor. She knew this wasn’t her sister. And yet whether it was real or not, whether the others there could hear it or not, she heard it. And hearing Elinor’s face proclaim those words stung. Though she did not quite know why. With no Pokémon to defend her, she hurried over to the nearest person, clutching herself close should Lulu allow it. LOCATION: The Border PROMPTS COMPLETED:- MORRIGAN ANDERSON's jealousy toward her family and/or the effects of her continual displacement must be explored in some way. (Jealousy used as reason to come here.) [googlefont=Raleway]
