Nothing huh? Moltres sure was a pain in the ass to find. But that's what the firebird probably wanted. Much as they wanted the Avatar, it would be lucky if they got to it first. But, with Keira so high up, Magnus looked up there. His smile is softer.[break][break]

Honestly? It's either her or @deimos. One of them would fit the mold. Considering her name used to be 'Crimson', it almost feels poetic to hold the red flame.[break][break]

On the other hand, Deimos was the Bird Guy. If everyone else in the pack was a dog, he was the one bird they adopted to their family. And even if he didn't bark, even if he didn't woof, he was still family. He was still a member. A person who fit the mold of what Orthrus, well, is.[break][break]

Huh.[break][break]

Halle and Berry had begun to push their heads against a poor little sappy Vulpix, who was shaking and shivering. Both dogs already loved the little guy, and with a very pleasant smile, he tosses the small Pokeball at the fox. "Good job, girls. Think we'll name him... Cortado." Both Houndours yip, and continue to prance. Magnus puts it away.[break][break]

And continues climbing.[break][break]

"You know. Moltres could really do us both a favor by just showing up already." Magnus calls out, as he pulls himself up another few edges, feeling small. "Could really use our bird whisperer about now." he jokes, something to maybe get Keira to laugh, or at least lighten the mood.[break][break]

"Not gettin' any younger... don't envy women either, back pain fuck'n sucks." Magnus chimed out, getting closer, as he rolled his arm around, trying to stretch.[break][break]

It, in fact, was not the tits.

Today is July 28th. Hot day. Sweat stains everything in damp, uncomfortable heat and humidity, and being so close to the sea, it's oppressive. That's usually what good air conditioning is for, to mitigate against the warmth, but the HQ was hit with a similar temperature heat today.[break][break]

77 degrees inside. Maybe not chilly, but viable for living conditions.[break][break]

And today there would be a lot of people inside the HQ. Today, Magnus had called for a meeting of the gang in their cozy little home. Why? Because they needed a gameplan. Where they intend to go, what they intend to do. With @keira, the idea of Avatardom sounded particularly sweet in their search of Moltres, but Magnus was never one to hold out on information.[break][break]

The meeting with was still desired, and a Rocket representative needed to be met with as well. Magnus' plan? Play both sides, put their foot in the door. They were small, but what they lacked in size, they made up in raw destructive force, and attitude.[break][break]

He sits upon the leathery couch, his black tank top on him, as his hair is tied up behind him to keep it from going wildly everywhere. He takes a sip of water from his cup, and he waits. Sitting right off the couch next to him, the big boof himself, Galao the Stoutland. He was busy snoozing, the old dog needing his rest.[break][break]

Magnus would wait. Others would show up before long. Even if just four or five, that would be enough for him. But in truth...[break][break]

He wanted his whole pack present.

It's unbelievable how beautiful the rainbow is. There are some colors more prominent than others. Lots of greens and yellows, some blues, though hardly any reds, violets, or purples. Even so, Magnus turns his head, and sees her again.[break][break]

It's cold in here.[break][break]

Jazz, dumbfounded, just a moment has Magnus hold onto her, and he smirks. He knows he's disarmed her, and he raises a brow... and the tables turn when she says gold, yellowish. And his eyes meet her own. He lets go of her hand, and instead, takes a breath in.[break][break]

"Let's get a few extra then." His voice is soft, and with arrogance set at the wayside, now more gentle. His hands place over her shoulders the familiar white jacket he often wore, to keep her warm, as he turns his gaze towards the one that caught his eyes.[break][break]

The vibrant emerald green ones. Or the few scarlet red ones he did see here or there.[break][break]

And he wouldn't say it aloud, but it reminded him of someone's eyes. He would never say what though. But he knew why. It isn't hard to figure out Magnus' motives, but that's also his biggest strength in some ways. Despite how much he fucked around and subsequently found out, he was fiercely loyal.[break][break]

However...[break][break]

Before either of them could really make anything of it, a massive tremor pulses out from the cave, with cave rocks shaking, and with it came the massive tusked beast. They were big, over eight feet tall, and their weight was close to a ton, but their massive tusks had a dried layer of blood on them, and bits of cloth. The beast took notice to both Orthrus members, the tiny cowboy-hatted Riolu, and the massive ancient dragon that sat near Jasmine.[break][break]

And the massive beast trumpets out an intimidating roar, charging the group with a BULLDOZE and attempting to run them down, Jo-Jo diving below the legs to come out the other side.[break][break]

Magnus turns to Jasmine and smirks ear-to-ear. Now he's getting cocky.[break][break]

"Shall we dance, baby?"[break][break]

If given the chance, pulling her to him, and making a great leap away, he would stare at the beast. Massive, even more so than him. Damn big beast this thing.[break][break]

Oh well. Picked the wrong duo to contend with.[break][break]
