Yeah. Bad taste in his mouth, that. He knows both of them can see right through him. Some of his most vulnerable moments have been with his number two and his number three. Even if the king is the king, he is nothin' without those underneath him. So even with this shit taste in his mouth, he smirks and just keeps moving forward.[break][break]

A king needs to lead, so that the subjects beneath them can soar. Even if he did have a complex, he knows his gang. His family.[break][break]

Without words, he does. Little Berry keeps lighting the way, and Magnus gives them a moment. If a danger comes, he'll take it himself.[break][break]

Feeling a lot better now at least. Kei was right, cool down here, and that's a good thing. Up there, he was going to have a stroke with how hot it was. Hell, sun poisoning is a thing! The Magmortar snorts embers out, beginning to walk away, as both Halle and Berry growl and yip. "Easy, girls. Big guy ain't hurtin' us." The Magmortar was busy just waltzing about. Left Magnus some time to just catch up.[break][break]

Giant as he may be, Magnus was spending his time sizing up the now-coming Crimson. Slade was pretty keen on her, and judging from his right hand's respect to her, introducing her before letting her speak for herself... Magnus felt compelled. His eyes don't wander her body like they do for someone so attractive, they linger on Keira's face. Every muscle movement she made, he would attempt his best to pinpoint.[break][break]

Of course. When tiny little Coco yips in his lap, he's torn away, hearing her growl at the two. Intruders! Charlatans! Big fleshy pain people to her human! And he shows his care again, his facial expression softening, as he moves to scratch her under her chin.[break][break]

"Easy girl. They're friends. You'll come to know them very well." Hm. He might need to get little Coco a puppy friend. Maybe another Houndour... should be a Pokemon shelter here in Castelia.[break][break]

His eyes shoot to Marshall first, and he smirks. "Sup, Slade? Wasn't about to leave her in the apartment HQ alone, sorry about that. This is Coco. I guess... she's mine now? Helluva bite, really tender on my left leg. Ya'know this shit doesn't heal with aloe vera? Fuckin' CRAZY. I get to have lasting pains in my early twenties." This... Crimson? She holds her hand out, giving her real name, and he sees how formal she is. And honest. Even if that name is an alias, as he reaches over to snatch her hand, he shakes it. "Pleasure is all yours, Keira Torres. And please. My friends call me Magnus." Immediately, he can tell it's going well, but there's a weariness he has that needs to be stomped out.[break][break]

"Heard from Slade about you. Smart woman. Old friend? Fling? Wanna hear it from the infamous Crimson's lips, who are you really?" It's a question that, he believes, will cut right to the chase. Give him an idea of Miss Keira 'Crimson' Torres and see what she's about. If Marshall trusted her, he would too. But that doesn't mean he's going to let her think it's that easy.[break][break]

He wanted to be impressed. With a yipping little Coco in his lap curling up to a puppy nap... he waits and listens. No interruptions.

Ouch. That's a pinched nerve, alright. Magnus also feels like he should retract what he said, but he rubs at his neck, takes a breath in, and sighs in exhale. "Aight, come on, Suzie." He moves to assist with the first aid, cleaning the wounds first before going anywhere near the dressing-portion.[break][break]

The story was simple; loan shark gig gone a little south, turned around well enough. Big shit Arbok, but a stolen credit card and wallet has Magnus ponder it for a spell, and gives Suzie a brow raise.[break][break]

"Hm. Yeah, probably could use it on fixing up the HQ a little..." It's less he was thinking about other girls, and more the base. "That's the Orthrus member I know. Ain't losin' easy if at all."[break][break]

The different Tera rock formations would light up the cave. It was dark, but illuminated slightly of a variety of colors.[break][break]

When Jazz makes a note of it, his first instinct is to tell her that, yeah, it was, but she was more so. But he holds the flirting back, a little in awe.[break][break]

"Alright... what color do you like most, Jazzy?" he asks, still holding onto Jasmine's hand. Letting her take the glows, the colors, the beautiful lights all about, all while the terror awaited them...[break][break]

This is the thing about Magnus' jealousy is yes, he's very open about the veins that pop on his head. But he's also very open about self-improvement. Make him jealous, he'll throw himself at a craft to do it better. And that jealousy might make him really get into salsa dancing.

When Jasmine asks what they were finding, and further responds with shards, he nods. "Uh... yeah. Shards. Been hearin' about these spots all in the caves of Hoenn, opening up with Tera shards. Figured, we might as well dive in." It wasn't the full truth, but he also didn't want to just tell Jasmine he intended to find something nice for her. He looks off to the distance. "Bingo." Maggie is smirking. He takes Jasmine's hand, and looks down at her. "Come on, baby. Let's go."[break][break]

If Magnus knew that today he was going to die, he'd have stayed home, found some guy to plow, and just go for it instead. Seemed like a better way to die than being sucked dry by sand. But with the hole now opening up from above, as he rubs his head, he can tell this wasn't quicksand at all.[break][break]

It was a tunnel entrance. And he fell right into it. Calculated? No. Stupidly lucky? Absolutely.[break][break]

Soon, came Keira, flying downwards atop Hades. Damn skippy, with one Marshall coming in on Bogie. And suddenly, the Cerberus trio was reunited! No fucking sand tearing them apart. Relief washes over Magnus, as he rubs at his temple. "Heh. Nice to see you guys too... and trust me. Ain't touchin' sand for a couple days after this." Acknowledging both at once here. Yeah. Fuck sand.[break][break]

Then it occurs to him, as both Halle and Berry hop down and rolling on the back of Hades, rolling off and landing now atop of Magnus' shoulders, Jo-Jo looking about the new tunnel they found themselves in. It being so dark though, it was troublesome to get anywhere...[break][break]

Well. It would have been.[break][break]

"Oh yeah, I got a light. Berry, Embers forward marching." The little Houndour yips, and begins to spout little embers to help light up their way moving forward, now making a tiny, Coco-sized prance forward with a happy sway in her step.[break][break]

Right. He thought he was going to die earlier. He said something that makes him reel back. Something that, if either of them say back home, can spell some bad news. "Hey... about what I said before getting the big succ from the desert? Doesn't leave this cave." He didn't need Lani or Jazz to know his potential last thoughts would have been either of them.[break][break]
