Coco stares at Zaba, and she finds it funny, watching the poor little trash panda pawing weakly at her. With a huff, she begins to trot along towards Latte, who still lays asleep, before dropping Zaba carefully on the ground, Latte opening one eye and staring the trash coon down. His head pops up.[break][break]

From his mouth, very tiny embers appear, warming the coon's face like having a warm heated blanket in winter. If it weren't summer, it might feel good. But at least it DID feel good.[break][break]

"Now that, Mint with the booty, sounds like a fun date." And that's exactly what it would be, as he gets up from the bench, beginning to throw his arms up in a stretch. The muscle shirt does still do well to hide, but he's a big guy, and to the perceptive, they could see the built-brick-shithouse beneath it.[break][break]

"Coco. Latte. Let's get some coffee."[break][break]

Coco stands at attention, her face pushing to Zaba's. She made a friend, and as she trots back towards Magnus, Latte gets up, and does a stretch himself, paws forward, and thicker body trying to get awake. Coffee time! If allowed, Latte would even give Zaba a ride over to his trainer! Any friend of Coco was a friend of his, and so...[break][break]

As Magnus would stop his stretch, seeing his dogs come over, he turns to Mint. "I'm buyin'. Whatcha like, sweetcheeks?"[break][break]

Jack Mood Killer Magnus. The killer of the moods. The Wingulls above them had made their caws, the silence of waves crashing against the sandy bank, it was perfect. And yet, his ass grab wasn't seen as romantic? He thought she'd like it...[break][break]

"Wait. But I thought-" He thought wrong. Annoyance was on her lips, and... with a sigh, he grabs towards his face. Sure, maybe he can blame himself for ruining it, but she knew what he was about, she knew that.[break][break]

So why does he want to fix it then? It's not his problem to fix. It's not his issue at all. It pisses him off. Yet, he finds himself getting to his feet, and following after her.[break][break]

He takes a step right next to her.[break][break]

He stands in silence a moment, just listening to the waves, the Wingulls, to everything around them.[break][break]

"You know I don't mean it like that. Right?" Genuine honesty, he rubs the back of his neck, as he gazes to the sea. The boundless freedom over the horizon. "I like havin' you all to myself." He runs a hand through his hair. He's not usually one for reflecting like this.[break][break]

That simple, huh? Even the lack of a dream was still somethin'. It was almost freedom, in a way. In Magnus' case, he saw the vision, he made it reality. Now, he has a gang, and he operates here in Hoenn with them all. From the streets of Unova, all the way to the tropical wonderland of Hoenn.[break][break]

Dreams sometimes didn't come until later in life. But the way that Mateo here talked about freedom, just illustrated a point. And Magnus was smirking, ear-to-ear.[break][break]

"Bein' free. Yeah. I used to have that dream too. It's somethin' special, to have the world at your disposal. To run like a wolf." He doesn't make a note at the rosy cheeks. Cute. But Lani would, again, for emphasis, skin him like a banana if he even played with the idea.[break][break]

As he leans back, and just looks up to the ceiling, he lets the silence sit for a moment, before closing his eyes.[break][break]

"Yeah. You're in, guy."[break][break]

Yup. Just like that. Leilani Ka’uhane would be pleased with him. What else did he really need to get into?

Guy's shoulders relaxed. It was that easy, really. So the decision to joinf or him was made easier by the fact that he doesn't owe them. And that meant he could run with the wolves. But, it still wasn't that easy.[break][break]

"I just have to ask one loaded question." It was as simple as that, and as he leans forward towards Raju, seeing the Wooper, he relaxes. With a crack of his neck, he ponders how he wants to really go for it. And then...[break][break]

"Got any aspirations? Lot of people who run with the pack got somethin' they like. Fighting. Motorcycles. Host Club. We do a lot. What do you want out of life?"

Halle and Berry both are barking, but the fun part is how they listen to Vee. They bark affirmatively. The moment she says to calm down, both girls are calm, seated on their butts. Magnus trained them to be listeners. Only had them a little, and they were working like a champ.[break][break]

To her claim of it being a family though, he can only smirk. She's damn right. Each pup in the gang is important to him. Each member of the pack, they were special to him. Even if he didn't say it outright. He didn't care.[break][break]

Every dog deserves a good home.[break][break]

Her question is easily answered. "Cuz you asked. And I could tell you wanted a family." It's as simple as that. With Latte now hopping onto the couch, and seating his head down across Vee's lap, Coco wags her tail happily, now seeing that her brother is getting better.[break][break]

"Years ago, right? I'm with Leilani Ka’uhane, and I could tell she was unhappy where she was. Now? Much better. Jasmine Blair too when I went to see her at the club. You know? Family... it's more than blood. We may be all kinds of dogs, but we got a pack, and we stick to it. Just like that."[break][break]

It's not meant to be rude, or shit, or nothin' like that. In fact, as Magnus watches her trace patterns on his chest, he can see the conflict that was going on in her mind. Golden eyes watched her, waiting for an answer. One that he knew was coming.[break][break]

Magnus was a good judge of character, at least, he thought he was. He can tell that kind of shit in a person. When they felt lost, when they felt homeless. Without a family? To a degree, that's what Orthrus was; a family beyond blood. His own mother ratted him out when he was young, and for what? Because he kicked his father's ass for being so anti-family.[break][break]

In a way, that's what Orthrus was to him; a family.[break][break]

So when she pauses, to hold a hand over her face, crying, he pulls her closer to him. Her insecurity answers, and he responds. "Come here." He smiles. He pulls her to a kiss, only to stop, and give her a very soft smirk.[break][break]

"Bullshit. And you know it."[break][break]

It was. She didn't want to intrude? Not needing her? "You're right. We don't need anyone. But I want you there. We got some real lookers. My number two, @marshall? He's a bike kinda guy. Love'em like a brother. Then you got @keira, and let's be real; she's like a babysitter for most of us. Because we're both stupid. Eh? Wants to join after a mission they conducted? Magnus feels like he'd remember this incident. He ponders, thinks it through. Abusive fathers? Yeah, that's something they'd handle and deal with. That sounds about right. Apparently, the kids' mom died in the process, and after they shake hands, he gives a look of recollection.[break][break]

"Oh shit, you were the kid? Yeah, one of my boys handled your pops. Shit, dude, I only heard about it in passing!" He's laughing now, almost throwing a finger to his eyes, trying not to laugh too hard to tear up. "Nah, I get it though. My old man was shit too, so we got that in common."[break][break]

He got into brawls a lot? He didn't want to be weak? He thought he owed them? That last one made his smirk disappear, and his eyes narrow.[break][break]

"First lesson if you're gonna be a dog, kid. You owe nobody nothin'. That jackass would get his comeuppance one way or another. Ya'hear me?" He's frustrated now, but it's less that the guy made him that way, he just hates thinking that the guy owes them anything when they did this because they could. Owing was left for business. Not for abused kids.[break][break]

Midnight on the dot? He can do that. They had plenty of time till midnight, plenty until then to enjoy the room, then a secret hot hot springs adventure together. And now? A lap dance![break][break]

Ever hear a dog pant in the summer time? That's them being hot, and boy was Magnus feeling it on the slow reveal of leg. Then her hip. Then she steps in, swaying, like a hypnosis that Magnus didn't need to awaken from. She drops the sleeve down from her shoulder, and he remembers a great lesson he learned way back when.[break][break]

The slow approach has him smirk almost drunkenly right before her, knowing what was to come. Yet not a single time does he move his hands. He gives her all the access she needs, all the work she wants to give. He won't spank, he won't make comments. This was Jazz's time to shine, and he wouldn't ruin it at all.

Magnus was snickering now, unable to keep himself from at least having a good time. Lani was hot, what can he say? Jasmine toof or that matter. But he knew, when she swatted at his chest, when Lani told him to behave, he had to. Thing about Magnus was, he may have the dog in him, but he knew better than to ruin it.[break][break]

Lani liked this kind of stuff. Magnus wasn't about to ruin it for her.[break][break]

His woman truly did find a glass of the goods, and when she snatched it, he would clink the one she got him to her own, and down it. But Maggie isn't a champagne kind of guy, he's a whiskey-fuck-you-up kinda guy.[break][break]

It's really lucky that Leilani was here as his date. He liked that about her. Because if it weren't for her, Magnus would have made a showing of kicking a guy's ass as the armored king that he looked like. Jasmine's date would be in agony. A real evil move on his part, but shattering a knee-cap in public felt tame compared to some of the guys or gals he handled in the past.[break][break]

To put it bluntly. Magnus was a jealous fucker, and he would break someone in half, but as soon as she pulled Jasmine away, Magnus would smirk before telling Jasmine's date.[break][break]

"You won't be gettin' her back."[break][break]

And he went with. Following his two favorite women now, gambling a little more here or there, he was directly out of earshot of their little conversation over jealousy, as Jazz wanted to gamble, and so he'd throw some PD in for her. Huh. She did look sexy as hell in that towel. He was close enough to make that second date a non-factor, but when she moves away from him, he feels it slip his fingers, and he closes his eyes.[break][break]

Dammit. Gettin' sloppy. What it actually was was something he couldn't comprehend, and probably wouldn't for a while, but there was something in him that had him stop before he got to the good part. "What?" She asked him something. To tell her about the location? He has to think of a sweet way to explain it over I hooked up in the bathroom there with this one chick. "Damn right I did. Think I got the hang of it too. Some rum, some lime juice, some strawberries and sugar? Oh yeah." He doesn't realize at all how sweet it is to learn how to make fruity drinks for a woman he fancied. At least, it doesn't yet. But the fact of the matter was, he had been up last night, trying to get it right.[break][break]

Turns out, mixing drinks was harder than he first thought it was. There was a methodology to it. Can't just pour in whatever amounts, gotta go a little here, a little there. To a point where Magnus got interested enough, he damn near made himself tipsy off of drinking a number of 'em.[break][break]

And the one in Jasmine's hand was certainly not the greatest in the world. But he made it. That's what made it special.[break][break]
