Festivals weren't always something Mauville partook in. Slateport was the place that went bananas with festivals around their beaches and shit. But sometimes, on a rare occasion, Mauville throws one. Which occasion? Use your imagination. Oz doesn't know, cause he doesn't care.[break][break]

He was bored back at the gym, having worked out enough for that day because nobody was there to actually fight him and the equipment can only be so entertaining when he's by himself. So he wandered out and about.[break][break]

Which has him on the streets of Mauville and looking at the night life. It's when he sees a familiar figure that has him smirking. Leilani Ka’uhane had been recruited by Jack Magnus. He remembered the first time she was 'introduced' to them all and also remembered that his jaw had been slack the entire time. And not just because of the fight the night before.[break][break]

"Hey Lan," like, lawn not like land, mind you. "Oh that looks good, damn. Get me one?"[break][break]

He walked up to her next to a food stall, standing closer to her than a stranger would. They weren't strangers to him. To him, even if he hadn't had a fully conversation with her, he knew she was apart of his pack. Of ORTHRUS, and so he was comfortable around her.[break][break]

Because Magnus wouldn't ever hire some kinda snitch, right? Even if they were a nice piece of ass... ~~okay. Maybe he would, shh.~~

The plan was sparked when they were making drinks in the kitchen, which led to them not being super sober, and then it escalated into talking about the type of underwear the crew favored; Oz is a boxer man himself cause he likes his shit to breathe. But that's not the point.[break][break]

The point is he's not sober and he's at Queen Jazz The Azz™️'s door and he's pickin' the lock.

Oz is not wearing his ORTHRUS colors because they're undercover and half of him hates it while the other half things being undercover's kinda cool. Fuck the league bitches he could do this so much better than them. Hell to teh fuckin' yeah, right?[break][break]

His 'handler' for the day is Abner Armstrong. The guy's all suave and pretty good at keeping Oz from being an absolute unhinged lunatic most days.[break][break]

Most days, because sometimes Oz is a wild animal that cannot be caged and can only be treated after his tornado. But he was told to be a good boy this time around and promised treats, so here he is, being a good boy and fully expecting something from somebody. Treats always meant sex of a match. Either way, he was gonna fuck this track up.[break][break]

Dressed in a pair of jeans and a casual crew-neck, the healing nicks and bruises around his body are a normal for him. He looks like an absolutely punk and thug, pulling up to the races in whatever the fuck car they trusted him with that day. Some pretty thing @deimos scolded him not to completely destroy.[break][break]

"Damn... these things are more popular than I thought they'd be." Street races, he means. "Think the crowd'll be as hype as our fight club crowds, Abs?"

The way he grins is uncanny. He can't help himself. The way Magnus fought, the moments shared in the ring. He'd laughed multiple times. He'd had a good time. There was something in Magnus' energy that helped Oz thrive unlike anything he'd ever experienced before.[break][break]

He'd be an idiot not to accept, which had him smirking and moving over to look at the jacket. He has, at this point, only his zoroark. The pokémon he'd always had at his side, no matter what. Even since a zorua.[break][break]

"Y'know what? Fuck it." Raising his hand, he grinned. It hurt, pulled at wounds and made them bleed a new stream down his face. "I'm in it. I wanted to fire my manager anyway."

The up and down look from D makes Oz feel a little like a pastry on display in the upper distract. Or more accurately, one of those street hotdogs nobody should eat but everybody craves.[break][break]

"Lug, lug." He mumbles to himself as he gets what was asked of him. He then hands it to D and smirks, moving his fingers to caress his hand in a sultry and very romantic way. On purpose. Cause they've never been romantic a day in their fucking life.[break][break]

Charlie plops onto his head and Oz loses all interest in Deimos and instead takes a seat, swooping the pidove up into his arms and beginning to ruffle and rub her feathers.[break][break]

"Charles! Hello my one true love, look at your beautiful plumage. You pluck it just for me? You snazzy lil bitch." The tone his uses is one of pure endearment. Like Jack Magnus uses on his pups.

Stench? Gross. But honestly, so did @raph sometimes. In this mood, he would usually be the first to complain if something smelled. In this case however, there is a gas mask involved and he's currently out to make Jazz pissed at him, so he just shrugs at her suggestion.[break][break]

"Why are you saying that like it's gonna cast a Meteor Shower? We have gas masks dude."[break][break]

Meanwhile, his zoroark's illusion changes her into one of the weezing in the area. She makes the same noises and floats about. The constant exposure to their smog is getting to her though, causing her lungs to coat with poison. It is not enough to break her illusion just yet. This allows her to get close enough for a night slash on a koffing.[break][break]

As it falls unconscious and hits the ground, it stops spewing its smog. Oz looks at Jazz, gas mask and all, raising one finger up.[break][break]

"That's one for me." Yeah he's suddenly decided it's a Legalos meets Gimli type competition??

The spit hits the mat and in a way they’re mixing fluids, but not in a way that most people would assume. He’ll forever use this as an excuse to say, ‘Yeah, first time I ever met Magnus we beat the shit out of each other and mixed fluid.’[break][break]

Although the expression is ‘swapped fluids,’ he doesn’t know the difference.[break][break]

The herald given, the taunt received, Oz doesn’t cut corners anymore. Now he’s fighting. Now he’s beating the shit out of this guy and getting the shit beat out of him in return. However the match ends up, Oz’ll know it was a good fucking time and he’ll forever remember the moment he somehow had more respect for this single human that he did any other fuckin’ anything in the world.[break][break]

Save his mightyena and zoroark, of course.[break][break]

The match is determined and Oz is grinning like a fool. He is bloodied all over and bruised in the same places and others.[break][break]

”You’re pretty damn tough man.” What the man has on Oz is experience in years Oz has yet to reach. For that, Oz pays him the respect of speaking to him after the fight.[break][break]

The white jacket catches his eye, curiosity moves into his eyes. He takes his own jacket, plays with a knife to keep his hands busy. ~~And to fulfill the prompt of this mission, oops.~~[break][break]

”They said you’re from some kinda gang, right? Like rocket or whatever?”

Truthfully, and spoiler alert that Jack Magnus and @keira are painfully aware of; along with anybody in the group who’d fucked him or been around while he woke up from a long ass sleep.[break][break]

Jazz says that he’s the one bitching, but technically she’s the one bitching to him about him being ‘bitchy’ and it causes him to scowl. An audible growl moves through his mask before he lifts a middle finger her way and turns his head back and forth in an immature bout of mild rage.[break][break]

Then, he proceeds to mock her SpongeBob style. He does the hands and everything.[break][break]

”QuIT BiTChiNg AnD It’Ll GeT DOnE FAsTeR.” He scoffs afterwards as he walks in, watching as she zips her jacket and mentions a reward. ”Not the first mood I’ve ruined.”[break][break]

Yeah, he likes to fuck. No, it doesn’t always happen. Yes, he’s aware of his flaws and doesn’t give two shakes of a rattata’s ass.[break][break]

When ordered to go left, he takes out his zoroark’s ball and releases the fox. It takes the shape of the smoke that surrounds them, using that smoke to navigate closer to the culprits.

He pulls the mask over his face as well, body clad in all black. Not a single part of his skin is exposed. He’s not about to get some kind of acid burn from these fuckers.[break][break]

With him are his two pokémon, a mightyena and a zoroark. Nothing special. If only because he doesn’t have anything else. He’s not the type to go out and catch shit. Most of his scores are from black market arms trades, if he gets any.

The walk toward him is mesmerizing. Oz analyzes every movement. It’s like he’s studying a book for a big final. Notes are taken in his head and tucked away under this guy’s announced name.[break][break]

Magnus, Lord of Dog Town or something like that… was that not his name? No, right, it’s Magnus, Big Daddy. Filed and memorized.[break][break]

The crack shouldn’t have made his dick itch. Neither should the boisterous laugh either. But here he is, high on adrenaline and ready to fuck… or be fucked… or get fucked… but all in a fighting sense.[break][break]

Maybe a little not.[break][break]

Oz makes no attempt to dodge. As a matter of fact, he barely even braces. He wants to be hit, he wants to gauge the pain that will come from a hit that takes him off guard. So he let’s the hit take him. [break][break]

The force of it causes Oz’ body to curl around it. He doesn’t fall backwards. Instead, he reaches out with his hand to grab the assaulting fist. His nails dig in as he grips the forearm there, mouth open as the wind was pushed out of his lungs.[break][break]

Admittedly, and without shame, he feels his lunch churning and hacks up a small mixture of stomach bile and phlegm. Mostly water hits the fighting mat and he coughs. His eyes shrink, chaos creeps into the pupils.[break][break]

Holding the forearm, he looks up at the guy and plants his feet. He’s a little manic, but it’s because he’s excited.[break][break]

”That it, Big Daddy?” The question is whispered just before he shouts, putting his all into his footing and lurching forward to attempt and slam his forehead into the other. His goal is to disorient him and go for an uppercut.
