[nospaces] [attr="class","gunstest3"] [attr="class","body"] Robin ignored her completely, stepping up to her while Gwen watched her in disbelief and horror at what had become of her close friend. Those words, the mania she was in, all of it wasn't her. The smaller girl continued to gaze at her with angry eyes as Gwen went to the Duskull beside them. "Robin, back up and listen to me. This isn't like you." She couldn't get a word in edgewise with her long rant about fate and how the two of them were locked together in its clutches. Gwendolyn maybe could accept such an idea, but to her, the world had been fated to end a few times now, and humans still hadn't kicked the bucket yet.[break][break] Maybe it was luck, maybe it was a higher power. But she would be damned if her life story was going to be predetermined beyond her control.[break][break] Then she grabbed a hold of Gwen's free arm, telling her how she would be forced to stay with her. The other ranger tried to wrestle her remaining arm free, letting out a soft grunt as Robin refused free her. "Let go." She said, trying to wiggle the other woman off, then resorting to flat out slamming her into the wall to free herself. "Get off me! Ngh, fucking stop!" No matter how hard she tried, Robin wasn't letting go. It hurt Gwen to pull this card, but she had to get out of here before things got too risky.[break][break] Her fingers dug down on the belt to call out Gishath, the Garchomp glaring down at Robin and the Duskull. "Get her off of me, Gishath!" He snorted, then tore around the apartment with the ginger in hand. The resulting attacks tore into the walls of Robin's apartment. The Garchomp's blades had turned one wall of decorations into little more than a pile of highly overpriced rubble. It didn't take long before Gwen slid out and was placed near the exit. Her eyes went over to Robin with pity in her eyes while the ranger exhaled.[break][break] "I've heard enough about fate from you. I don't care how hard you believe it or who’s shown you. I can't follow you down this path." Gwen said softly, her voice quivered in pain while unable to help her best friend through what she was going through. "I trusted you, and wanted to patch things up, I really did. You just…Fate doesn't excuse you from being a shitty person. You're not some fortune teller helping people see the future. You're an obsessive sociopath who takes advantage of people to fit your worldview.” It was betrayal after betrayal, held up with the flimsy excuse that she had done so because of some cosmic force. Friends didn't do that to one another, not even lovers.[break][break] "You want to know what's the worst part about this? You've become the very person you said you hated. All the times you complained to me about not sharing your family's gift. All the times I reassured you that you didn't need it to matter to anybody. And here you are, turning out the same way. Are you scared of not being special? Because you live in a region where ninety percent of the people don't matter!"[break][break] Gwen dug inside of her bag and pulled out two plastic wrapped cakes, the same brand that they used to eat when Robin and her were kids. She threw them as hard as she could at the other girl, one after the other. Inside of the packaging, cream burst from the confines of the sugar coated bread before smashing into the floor. The ginger was crying again, fist balled while turning her back to the person who mattered the most. "I hope you choke on it, asshole."[break][break] She said nothing for a moment, then let out an angry cry and punched the wall as hard as she could. The force had made an indentation, with a small bit having caved in from the force of the impact.[break][break] "We're done. Don't call me, don't text me. I don't want to see you ever again. Not while you want to play in this fantasy of yours. You're just a footnote in my story. One titled “The Psychic With Mommy Issues and a Superiority Complex.” Gwen kicked the door open and stepped through slowly. "When I was comatose for those three days in the hospital, I dreamed about us. Growing up, having a nice life together. But every single minute, I never stopped thinking about you. So thanks for the memories, Robin."[break][break] Gwen recalled Gishath and sprinted through the door, running to streets where she called out for her Wrydeer and began to long ride home. Tears wouldn't stop flowing down her face, and likely wouldn't for the rest of the coming days. But she couldn't get dragged down into this nonsense. robin coello [break][break] NOTES- A lover's quarrel ft.
