That was too close, he thinks to himself, stepping in. At least now he had a foot in the door, pun intended.

Closing the door — and locking it — Fletcher follows the woman inside, boots squeaking and squelching from the rain. He could admire her beauty, like most probably did, but his attention drifts to the home itself. He counts the doorways; the entrances, and exits. He pays special attention to the security system she has in place, and the name of the company who'd installed it.

When they finally arrive, he finally speaks.

"A lovely home," he says automatically after a few silent moments. Fletcher didn't really mean it; it felt like the right thing to say. "Do you know anyone that would wish you harm, Ms. Silph?"

His doubt sparks from an ember into a small flame. He becomes all too aware of how long its been since his last dose. Since he'd felt like himself. If he didn't succeed here, it'd be even longer. Fletcher couldn't let that happen.
