"Josh a dancer? Heh, id like to see that. But that's cool you know each other ," Zachary replied, glad to meet her. "We been pretty close for a while. He has been helping me learn how to become a Gym Leader" [break][break] Meanwhile as they talked-- the cats frolicked. It was adorable to see Morgana get along with the wild Luxio of all things. However as they played the telltale signs of a 'barbaracle was nearby in the shallows of the water. [break][break] Meanwhile... as Zachary talked and witnessed the ranger dive... Dizzy sat there calmly against the warm sand-- unaware of the visitor he had. [break][break]Out from the sands, was a teeny, tiny little yellow critter that was drawn in by the warmth and cover of Dizzy's red fur. Curious, the little critter soon hopped up and onto Dizzy. [break][break] Dizzy felt the presence of the tik immediately on his fur. "Burk? Brak-- BRak! Brakk!" Dizzy barked, the fox soon jumping up. He began to widely turn around, grasping at his back as he felt the tick tickling and wandering around under his fur. Zachary turned, alarmed to see Dizzy so aggitated by something. [break][break] "D-Dizzy? What's wrong? Calm down, will you!" Zachary urged, trying to calm down the poor Delphox. [break][break] After a bit of thrashing around-- the presence of the 'intruder' on Dizzy's fur became known as the critter appeared on top of Dizzy's head from his fur, appearing to be a yellow colored bug. [break][break] Zachary flinched for a moment, but seeing how small it was, it didn't bother him too badly. Still Zachary did flinch all the same from it. Dizzy looked up to the top of his head, curious what was there. Zachary took out his Pokedex to read it. [break][break]

Joltic, the tiny pokemon. This insect pokemon gathers electricity in special glanes in its body, and gathered through the static found in other pokemon's fur.

[break][break] "Ugh... a bug..." Zachary gasped wearingly, afraid to get too close-- but was close enough to see the pokemon's distinct features . By now, Dizzy stopped figiding now that Joltic stood still atop his head. While irritated by having the bug in his luxurious fur, he was more annoyed by Zachary's fear of bugs once again embarrassing him. [break][break] With a deep breath, Zachary got a bit closer, seeing the little pokemon blink at him and soon gave a small chirp of a greeting. Inside, Zachary felt his nerves flinch at being so close to the little creature, but its upbeat tone seemed almost 'frinedly'. [break][break] "Heh... this one isn't so bad. Hi there, little fella," Zachary said. [break][break] A small spark went off from its body at the mention of 'little', making Zachary jump back. Dizzy barked at the discharge, alarmed by the shock atop his head. [break][break] The little spider hopped off, landing on the sand before Zachary and gave a few more squeaks. [break][break] Apparantly, it didn't like being called little and had a short temper for it. "Um... sorry?" Zachary asked warringly. [break][break] Seeing the new critter, Happy the Mime Jr soon came over-- after having built a sand castle. With a smile, the Mime Jr greeted the little electric tik. The Joltik soon answered with a cheerful cry, letting out a more joyous spark of excitement to be among new people. [break][break]

Poke - Grand Prix (Gym Topic)

This was it-- the final hurdle of the race. From there it was nothing but the finish line, and Hermes was determine to win! The biggest thing in front of him, was that giant cat! No way Hermes the electric mouse was gonna loose to that feline! He kicked it as hard as he could, rushing forward with his new tera powers to get a boost in speed. [break][break] Josh and his Raichu Tofal were close behind-- and anything could happen. But this was the moment Zachary was saving Hermes trump card for ! [break][break]

[break][break] "Okay, buddy! Hermes-- time to cut loose! " Zachary said as they entered the last stretch, the finish line at the end of the track! "Give it your all! AGILITY!!" [break][break] Hermes never felt so happy to hear Zachary say those words as his body glowed, kick-starting Agility! In that instance-- another psychic force erupted behind Hermes-- so much so that Zachary felt he would fall out. Tunnel vision occurred for Zachary as all else was a blur outside of 12-o-clock. Hermes was going so fast now, it was like he had broken the sound barrier! He now went from holding on to Hermes back to grasping it, feeling the wind buzz past every part of his body and electricity cackle around his body. Hermes now zig-and zagged through anyone who was in front of him-- now in a final shot to reach the finish line! [break][break] "RAAAAAIIII!!!" the Alola Raichu cheered, using all his speed he could muster to reach that final end of the track with the intent to win! [break][break]

The affection the Raikou showed Josh only made Zachary more jealous to have the Johto trio be so fond of him. He tried to swallow it down as he kept a hand on Broly, keeping the primordial Raikou-lookalike in check. Broly was an amazing Pokemon, but also had a berserk streak too if he wasn't careful. It wasn't a Pokemon he showed often for the same reason Josh did for Raikou. Still... [break][break] There was no way for Zachary to know the concept if he was a 'god' or not, all he saw was a mystical creature he longed to see and befriend. In that moment, he soon fainted being stubborn and looked to the side. "Well, I'm still a little mad... but...I could let it go on one condition?" Zachary said. Nyx on Josh's shoulder hooted as she cocked her body to the side. The awe in Zachary's eyes was not easily concealed however. [break][break] "Can I... pet him? Please? " Zachary asked, clearly having in the end only wanted to befriend Raikou as much as Josh did. [break][break] Dizzy, observing, simply gave a 'dull' look to his trainer. His attempts to disguise his interest with being mad at Josh wasn't that convincing, especially to the psychic fox. [break][break] Broly though, craned his much longer head down, sniffing the air around the Raikou. [break][break]In the back of Zachary's mind-- Zachary wondered what would happened if Raikou and Raging Bolt/Broly battled! That be a showdown for the ages, and was sure the two cats would probably be into it too. [break][break]But for now, all Zachary wanted was a chance to get close, scratch that adorable big electric cat under his neck where cats loved so much-- and offer a hand of friendship to such a legendary creature. [break][break]

The Hero of "Justice" (M)

Zachary too was baffled-- that his dear Kirlia just eruptedly evolved. However, he soon saw something. At first he thought they were shards of Tera Crystals, littered through the mine. But it wasn't that. Glowing, azure stones seemed to permiate the ground. Dawn Stones, which glowed in response to Kirlia-- and now had become a Gallade. [break][break] The reason why, aside, the Gallade looked at his attackers-- determine to make them pay for such cowardly attacks and threatening his trainer. The sword-wielding Pokemon was furious. [break][break] The Dark Pulse was released, aimed at Gallade. However-- the sharp Pokemon didn't hesitate to act. Suddenly, the form of Gallade vanished, becoming a blur of movement. [break][break] In that moment, several mirages of the Gallade appeared, surrounding the cavern! Double Team -- it had used the move to move so fast it left after-images of itself. The Dark Pulse just fired off into a nearby wall, missing the target and making the illusion vanish. [break][break] "An interesting development. Seviper, Poison Tail!" the woman shouted. Her Seviper, now coated in Tera Crystal, had its tail begin to glow. It soon lunged forward and snaked its tail to strike at the copies. [break][break] However, Gallade was clever as it opponents attacked in vain. From above-- Gallade was pointed to attack. In that instant, Gallade's arms glowed with a blue aura-- and soon threw them forward! Blades of watery energy flew outward, aiming to hit Ash's Snickers with its powerful attack! The blades seemed to resonate stronger of all things-- powered up by the pokemon's Sharpness ability! [break][break] " No way..." Zachary breathed in amazement, seeing his Gallade take the stage. "Gallade, your amazing!" [break][break] Nyx the Hoothoot soon cheered, flapping her little wings on his shoulder. [break][break]

"A Wild Trainer Has Appeared!" (Social)

This was bad-- even Hermes knew it! They were fighting a giant and now were on the defense. Even with Electric Terrain, they had no choice to flee-- as they couldn't attack something that big head on. Zachary was in a panic too. As his other Pokemon never seen 'Dynamax" before, Zachary had never seen it either-- and it was like something from a nightmare! [break][break] Hermes was quick enough to evade the large cracks of lightning around him, thanks to Terastellization and Surge Surfer-- but what came next was impossible to dodge. Of all things, the Pikachu produced a powerful blast of water-- Max Guyser it was called. The massive blast of water was wide and fast. [break][break] Hermes barely was able to turn to see the torrent of water come-- and the poor electric mouse not even able to surf on it. [break][break] The blast went off, sending water in all directions! Zachary guarded himself with his jacket-- the water spraying his Delphox, who barked and growled, hating the water![break][break] "HERMES!!" Zachary cried, utterly shocked. [break][break] The moisture and mist soon began to fade, as did the electric terrain it seemed. The mist cleared, to reveal Hermes having wiped out.[break][break] The electric mouse was lying on the ground, off his tail, and dazed with swirls in his eyes. In that moment, the violet sheen of crystal soon glowed-- and shattered off his body, powering down. Hermes had lost the battle. [break][break] "No...." Zachary breathed, unable to believe how fast he lost in the face of such a massive pokemon. Zachary was in shock as he fell to his knees before Hermes, the poor Raichu passed out. [break][break] He gently patted the Raichu's head-- which was answered by a small moan, having been smacked senseless from such a strong move. [break][break] The victor went to Aaron and his gigantic Pikachu. [break][break]

Electrifying Encounters (Mission-bond bridge)

At the end of the race, Hermes was beaming with electric pride as he felt Shalin on his back-- until he noticed that the girl was pretty much passed out. "Rai?!" Hermes cried, and soon floated back to where Zachary was. The affectionate Raichu soon began to pat Shalin as she tried to recover, seemingly like they had gone too fast. Zachary remembered how that felt using Agility while riding Hermes. He felt like he was launched into space! [break][break] "I thought you liked riding fast pokemon?" Zachary asked, half-seriously as he saw her dizzy state. "But Hermes can get a little ambitious with his speed." Hermes gave a sheepful apology to Shalin, hoping still to get pets from her. [break][break] As Raichu nuzzled Shalin-- they all soon saw Dizzy in the nearby field. He looked grumpy as he sat there-- and Shalin's Alola Ninetails now licked his head giving him a series of cowlicks on his furry head. [break][break] Zachary gasped and struggled not to laugh, earning the leer of the fiery fox. [break][break] "Rai-rai-rai-rai-raiiii!" Hermes just straight up laughed as he rolled on his floating tail, humored by the scene. [break][break] "Brrrrrr....!" Dizzy's growl was soon followed by drawing his stick. [break][break] "Wait-- Dizzy, don't!" Zachary shouted. [break][break] Dizzy began to fire Mystical Fire at Hermes-- intending to hit the rodent for his laughter. Unforutnately, Hermes continued to laugh as he flew along the field with his riding skills. The chase continued as the chaos disrupted the forest... showing the hot messes these pokemon were capable of. [break][break]

Zachary's words-- along with Nyx's nuzzling -- certainly helped Josh's mood. He was right that his pokemon would care for him. But it was now a time for him to take it easy on his recovery. Nyx accepted the man's petting as she cooed happily from the pets. [break][break] After a moment, Josh explained how Raikou came into his possession. The legendary tiger from Johtan legend, to which Zachary came from. He loved the legendary trio and wanted to meet them one day. The Paradox versions were a rare treat too-- but these were different, of course. Josh's reason for keeping Raikou a secret was a good one, and of course Zachary understood. [break][break] "I get it," Zachary sighed, "It's dangerous to announce you possess a legendary Pokemon like that. It could endanger you and it in the process. I understand... still its hard not to be jealous to see him," Zachary said, looking at the regal tiger as Josh petted him. [break][break] After much thought, Zachary took out a Pokeball himself, one marked with a "XVI" on it. With a breath, he soon looked to Josh. "You showed me yours. Only fair that I show you mine," Zachary explained. With that, he tossed the ball up into the air-- and soon HE came out. [break][break] The Raikou paradox-- Raging Bolt! The big long-necked tiger beast let out a roar as it announced himself, showing off to his 'descendant'. [break][break] Zachary quickly stopped Raging Bolt's rampage by getting close. "Easy, easy! Broly, its okay! Not here to fight, so calm down," Zachary said, petting the side of the big dino-cat. Zachary turned to Josh, now sharing his own big one. "This is Broly. I befriended him in Area Zero. I'm willing to bet he is an ancestor to Raikou of sorts. Either way, only fitting to show you him. Plus you gotta admit, the two side by side are very interesting," Zachary said. [break][break] Broly, aka Raging Bolt, glared at Raikou from behind his 'cloud mane' as if measuring up his other counterpart. [break][break] Zachary had to wonder how Josh would think of his Raging Bolt next to Raikou as well. [break][break]

The Border: Extended Stays

The fight between Aaron was a struggle and Zachary felt compelled to intervene-- but Aaron used his amazing pokemon to fight back and proved himself to the little shadow. It was an interesting Pokemon, and in that moment the ghost decided to go with him-- entering Aaron's pokeball. [break][break]Aaron wasn't one to celebrate as he abruptly said they should leave, feeling they had tested their luck here. As he left to gather his things and leave, Zachary shrugged. "Don't celebrate too soon," Zachary commented, thinking Aaron would of been more enthused to catch a new , mysterious pokemon. [break][break] Dizzy also shrugged at this but didn't waste time. THe fox was eager to leave this dimension too. With that, and Nyx now secure on his shoulder, Zachary too prepared to leave as they would make their way back to the surface and portal. [break][break]

With Hermes Terastellized, Zachary could see his partner in a whole new light. He was still the same cocky, show-off, lovable imp of a Raichu as before. But under the effect of the Psychic Tera type, his bite actually matched his bark. His psychic power that had him float, fly and race-- were now accelerated by the power of the Tera Orb. Hermes was loving it, and so was Zachary as they rode together! [break][break] In that final turn, Hermes and Zachary rode together, both of their moves in sync as they curfed and turned around the course-- reaching the 180 degree turn. They soon leaned in, ready for the challenge. [break][break] "Dig in, Hermes! We're gonna go for broke!" Zachary said, encouraging Hermes fun tricks. [break][break] Risky rodent as he was, the Alola Raichu decided to use the risky dirt mount to navigate the turn! [break][break] It was bumpy, making a small jump into the air-- to which Hermes performed a tiny 'Olie' with Zachary there too. [break][break] They landed into the turn, to which as soon as the final stretch appeared-- Hermes punched his Psychic power. A swift kick-off and they went flying forward, the finish line at the end of the track! [break][break]

With their resolve to venture further-- they would find that the wrecked room had another door that led outward. As they got ready, the Xatu waddling forward-- Razz called out another of his pokemon. [break][break] ... to Zachary's dismay, was a Spinerat spider. [break][break] "Gaah!" Zachary flinched, seeing the smaller spider on Razz's shoulder. [break][break] Dizzy frowned and grumbled... seeing Zachary's clear reaction. Meowstic looked up to Zachary, puzzled. Very few knew-- but Zachary had a strong phobia of bugs and bug-type pokemon. It took Zachary great time to adjust to certain pokemon who were bug types. While he loved those like Rabsca dearly, it was hard for him to get past the creepy nature of the bug-like qualities and behavior. Especially ones who were poisonous and could bite him. [break][break] "Okay... okay... let's go..." Zachary said as he marched forward. The Delphox just shook his head and glanced to Razz, almost apologetic for his trainer's issues. [break][break] The hall was still empty, leading them down with broken picture frames, half mangled wall lamps and other parts of the mansion. The hall would eventually empty up to a dark room, seeming another chamber till... [break][break] "muuuurrr...." a ghastly voice echoed, like a breath. [break][break] Zachary paused, sensing they were not alone as his Pokemon stopped too. Soon Dizzy stepped forward. [break][break] "Dizzy, light it up!" Zachary called out, causing the Delphox to release a burst of rainbow flame out into the air. The flame rose but stopped mid air-- illuminating the space. And soon they saw it. [break][break] A Hypno, standing in the center of the room, looking like a ball room. The odd, psychic type Pokemon glared at them with calm but eager challenge. [break][break] "Fond you, you sneak! Time to play you a lullaby for a change!" Zachary challenged. He then turned to his Xatu, Prophet. "You're up Prophet! " [break][break] The bird gave a blank glance to Zachary and Razz-- but soon hopped forward, looking just as stoic as Hypno did. [break][break] However-- that was when things got weird. [break][break]"Hyp...nooo....." it spoke, and its eyes glowed with light. [break][break] Suddenly, the room and features began to change! The psychic light of the pokemon permiated the room-- it certain wasn't Dizzy's magical torch! Surprised, Zachary looked around confused as the entire room 'transformed'. [break][break] Specks of 'pixilated blue' squares glowed around overlaying the place, confusing the eye. It was then that the Hypno used Trick Room , capturing them in a dimensional effect that radiated the room in its blue light... [break][break]

"Oh? A ranger like Josh. Nice to meet you," Zachary said with a smile. Hearing the Ranger-- the Hoothoot on Zachary's shoulder hopped off and took to the air, fluttering soft circles around the lady in a friendly manner. Nyx was unusually friendly at times, and more guarded others as the happy owl greeted the lady. [break][break] As she was quick to get to her work, Zachary blinked as she walked away. "Um... Okay, I'll just be here. Um please mind the Pokemon on the beach. Most of them are mine-- specifically the Milotic swimming in the shallows!," Zachary called out to her, seeing Cetus dive and flip several times, having a blast on the ocean waves. [break][break] As they talked, two little Tynamo would swim, or rather hover by-- as Morgana and his new friend Shinx splashed and froliced. The sight of the two little fish made the two cats fur stand on end-- seeing their next playthings. In interest, the two cats attempted to chase them. [break][break] The electric fishies saw it and quickly began to retreat, dodging as the cats attempted to pounce on them-- but failed. [break][break] Seeing this, Zachary rolled his eyes as the cats continued to cause mischief-- hopefully staying out of the way of Calypso and Jumanji's competition game they were playing... [break][break]

"Whoh! HERMES! SLOW DOWN! YOU DON't WANT TO THROW HER OFF!!" Zachary cried but didn't know how well the Raichu would listen-- as he loved going as fast as he could. If Shalin wanted a speedy Pokemon, Alola Raichu had a whole load of special tricks for speed. [break][break] Hopefully she would command Hermes to stop before he went Super Sonic as the speed demon gave her the ride of her life. [break][break] Zachary just shook his head as he saw the madness unfold. He was really starting to worry about the mental stability of Shalin if she enjoyed trying to ride crazy pokemon at high speeds like that. If nothing else, if she hit her head-- she would be far worse off.... [break][break]

Both Josh and Zachary seemed to suffer more from the effects of the abduction-- more to their hearts than their body. For Josh it impacted his very ability to ride due to his injury. Zachary had some broken bones and bruised ribs-- but luckily he had the aid of a pokemon to heal his injuries making them less severe. Even now he still sought out rehab to move, but he was on the mend. But Josh had to readjust to [break][break] Josh soon arrived, riding an Espeon of all things. It seemed uncommon for an Espeon to appear by all things to be that big, but there it was! Regardless, Josh did raise a lot of pokemon meant to be ridden. [break][break] Zachary still sat there, as he rubbed Dizzy's fur for comfort. Hoothoot then fluttered to Josh, sensing his depression. "But you will heal. I know you will. I get its hard, but what we all endured will heal in time. More important I'm sure your own pokemon will want you to heal too and will be okay to let you rest too," Zachary said. [break][break] In a sweet gesture, Nyx the Hoothoot perched herself on Josh's shoulder, trying to cheer the guy up in her silly way. [break][break] Him calling out Raikou however, was an eye opener as Zachary rose up to the amazing creature. But Josh was so sad he couldn't ride him due to his injuries. [break][break] "Josh, riding them is great. You taught me how fun it is-- but your pokemon are gonna be there for your even if you cant. You showed how much you want to be with them. Trust me, they will run at your speed, just as much as you ride at theirs," he said trying to make sense of the analogy. [break][break]However he then approached. "But allow me to finally say this-- WHEN DID YOU GET RAIKOU OF ALL THINGS?! " Zachary exclaimed! Excitement and jealousy showed clearly as Zachary looked to the big, fluffy lightning-powered tiger. He loved how edgy he looked and wanted to just hug the big cat-- but knew better. [break][break] The shout woke up Dizzy from his nap as he rose up, rubbing his eyes. The other Pokemon soon looked at the big cat too. "Man... I'm so jealous... you really found him. Damn, how could you keep such a secret from me?" Zachary asked. [break][break] A part of him wanted to faint being angry-- but he understood. He had a similar Pokemon he kept quiet about too...[break][break]

Zachary was a teenager of 17, becoming 18 soon enough. He looked at the strange woman, unsure who she was but she seemed nice enough. Zachary felt a bit on edge after his encounters with Team Rocket, but this person seemed nice enough. Asking why he was out there was curious but not uncalled for, especially how she was dressed. She looked like a Pokemon Ranger. Zachary slowly got up, giving Dizzy a parting pat on the head as the fox watched his friends play. [break][break] "I'm Zachary. I'm just out here to let my Pokemon get some fresh air and fun, especially my Milotic. It's not easy for a water pokemon to be stuck in a Pokeball all the time," Zachary commented as the Milotic spied on them from her perch on the water. "Whom might you be?" As he asked, Zachary's Hoothoot, Nyx, rested on his shoulder, giving a greeting with a look and flap of her wings. [break][break]As Zachary addressed the new person to arrive on the beach, Morganna the sprigatito played 'tag' between the sandy beach and the rolling surf that would jump up and down the shore. The cat shouldn't of been bothered by water, but it seemed hesitant about wanting to get wet-- perhaps to ruin its grassy fur. Morgana had become a close companion for Zachary, having been raised lovingly and been around to see many adventures with him and his Pokemon. However, Morgana was also surprisingly independent as many cats would often be. [break][break] Just then as Morgana was enjoying the view, the sound of crackling sparks drew his attention. [break][break] He looked to find running down the sandy beach from the forest area was another pokemon-- eagerly sprinting about to enjoy himself. With a large leap, the Pokemon leapt overhead, and landed into the water with a splash! [break][break] Sprigatito was startled as he looked to see the pokemon was a Luxio! Seeing the cat like some kind of rival, Morgana growled, his fur on end as he encountered the electric feline. [break][break] The Luxio gave a mild meow, now revealing to have a fish in its mouth from its skillful pounce. The electric cat approached the grass one, a seemingly neutral look as he saw him throw a little cat-tantrum. Luxio gave a mild growl of interest, putting down the fish as it was just playing around. It then gave a lynx-like call, as if to greet Morgana. [break][break] The grass cat soon dropped its hesitation, as it sniffed the other cat, and vise versa. After a moment, Morgana meowed in greeting too. [break][break] Momentarally distracted, Zachary looked to find Morgana's new friend on the beach, seeing the Luxio. [break][break] "Wow... a Luxio! Hey Morgana, looked like you found a new friend!" Zachary called out. While he wanted to greet the Luxio too, he didn't want to leave the new visitor unattended. [break][break]
