The moment that lonliness and sadness seeped into Dizzy's heart, he heard the sound of another. His ears perked up and he looked to find another human. An older man with pink hair! When asked if he was separated from his trainer-- Dizzy was happy to hear he caught on quickly. Unlike what many would presume, Dizzy was very intelligent being a long-time trained Pokemon. The fox jumped up close to the man, eagerly barking and waving his stick about to try to explain what happened. He even tried to 'mimic' the face of Abra, to indicate what happened. [break][break] Naturally, barking and waving his stick would get him nowhere... so he tried to explain in one way he knew. Taking a moment to think, Dizzy faced a nearby grassy patch. He took a sharp breath, and blew a puff of his Flamethrower! Fire scorched the ground in front of him, burning the grass and softening the soil below! Taking his stick, he began to draw. He drew out a figure, Zachary, and the small impish creature-- Abra! Of course, Dizzy's artwork was left for interpretation, as the Abra looked dramatically more evil with sharp teeth and creepy eyes and pointy ears-- resembling more of a Sabeleye. He further tried to draw the aura of 'teleport' and then the poof-- but would end with the Fox trying to gesture the 'poof-- gone' method. It was one big game of pictionary for poor Ever! [break][break] The lack of understanding, of course made Dizzy more frustraited and crossly glare at him as if he had been 'leering'. [break][break]

Meanwhile[break][break]
Everything blurred as Zachary grabbed hold to Abra as the terrain and scenes changed! Light and colors swirled as if they were tossed inside of a washing machine! "WHHAAAAAAA...!" Zachary shouted. [break][break] Abra now in a panic, was Teleporting to any conceivable place it could go! In another tree, up in the air, a nearby road-- before blipping to the next part. Zachary's head was spinning, verging on feeling naucious as they were sent to random locations along Abra's sense of awareness. [break][break] A splash and sudden stop of their teleport made Zachary gasp-- as there was no air and he was suddenly wet! Both he and Abra were now underwater somewhere, in some lake. The two looked at one another, almost equally baffled. [break][break] A sudden disturbance in the water drew their attention to a growing shadow. The two turned, soon spotting IT[break][break]

The massive maw and beady eyes of a Garaydos glamed before them-- as the massive water serpent dragon Pokemon caught sight of its next meal.[break][break] "GYAAAAAAA!!!" Both screamed as they clung to eachother! In that moment, Abra teleported all the same while clinging to Zachary. The two teleported the moment the serpent attempted to crunch down on them, missing them! The serpenet just continued on... as if his latest prey had never been there. [break][break]
This continued for some time, as who knew where Abra was teleporting them. It was entirely possible, Abra had no control where he wanted to go and was just going anywhere to try and elude Zachary. [break][break]

The two's company were quiet for the time being. Zachary ate some of his food and packaged juice while Dizzy snacked on some spicy pokemon food it liked , with some berries mixed in. He would smack his lips as he greedily enjoyed his pokemon food mix. Despite, that the two remained close in the cold night. However, after a time-- Dizzys' ears perked up. He heard something in the distance. He soon began to bark in earnest, sensing a large number of Pokemon. [break][break]
"Kruff! Ka-ruff-ruff!!" Dizzy barked, jumping up to its feet. Zachary looked up at him, startled. [break][break] "Dizzy! What's wrong? You sense something?"[break][break]
Before Zachary could contain and put out the fire of the campsite-- Dizzy rushed for the presence-- now seen as a collection of moving fiery lights behind the shades of the forest. The eager fox was curious to find out what it was, and more so was Zachary, knowing why his Pokemon ran off like that. [break][break] "Dizzy! Come back!" he called, but the Fox pressed on. He sighed as he soon chased after his fox. [break][break]
Dizzy soon reached the edge of the road-- to see the service of Pyroar all in line, with solemn looks on their faces. Marked on all of them was a single human rider. Dizzy cocked his head, but he could tell-- this was a memorial for someone. An act of respect for a deceased friend. A sad whimper came from Dizzy, realizing the sadness of the Pokemon there. As Josh probably seen the fox, Dizzy gave a respectful prayer with its stick, raising the flame up to pay respects. [break][break] "Dizzy! Would you slow down?!"Zachary shouted through the trees. Zachary unwittingly disrupted it all, as he buslted through the trees-- and came upon the pack of Pyroar now there-- along with the rather intimidating-looking rider on them. He stopped short, seeing the pack of them. "Uh... uh-oh. Sorry..." Zachary said, realizing he had interrupted them. [break][break]
Zachary had not meant to be rude, but he didn't know why Dizzy had run off like that, and now was surrounded by angry lions. More so, the rider in question was a young man like him, with a rather imposing presence about him. He gulped, knowing it was a bad time. "Pardon my intrusion. My Delphox was eager to see what was going on and... clearly I am interrupting something important." he said in solidarity. [break][break]
Meanwhile, as they talked-- a strange sinister presence watched from the dark woods. Creepy eyes peeked from the trees, and a smirking mouth of mischief to the mourners and strangers there... [break][break]

Psychic Burial [DW/C]

Calcifet? Zachary felt he knew that name from somewhere before-- but he wasn't the best at social studies let alone politics. But the woman did present herself as a regal, and important figure. The fact she said she came to pay her respects, alone did justify her being here after all. Galarian Ambassador? That alone got his attention and his eyes widened. "Ambassador? So you are an important figure? But why are you here alone? I mean, the present company accepted." he said, gesturing to her Mismageus. [break][break]
All the while, Dizzy sniffed around Mismageus-- his way of getting to know a stranger. While that happened, Elice soon took notice of another person. Zachary was confused, not seeing or hearing anyone. Curious himself, Dizzy also turned away-- soon looking into the face of a scary Bannett. "KRIIIP!!" Dizzy barked, alarmed as he jumped back, scared of the scary doll. [break][break] While the Fox was indeed startled, Elice was not even scared as she approached it and was nothing short of friendly with it. Zachary watched in amazement as she spoke to it calmly, and it listened. She even produced a poppet to play with, much to its enjoyment. If Zachary recalled, such Pokemon were lonely and sought compassion rather than vengeful things. The fact she gave it friendship was all the more impressive despite how scary it looked. In the end, he watched as she not only won the little creature over-- but even won its favor to become her Pokemon. He freely entered the Pokeball, and became hers. [break][break] "Wow... That was ... very impressive," Zachary said, almost speechless at how easily it was for her to win over Bannette, a Pokemon who would have been far more difficult to catch. "I never seen anyone that able to communicate to a Pokemon like that, let alone get them to join you. At least one of that caliber." he said to her, almost thinking aloud. [break][break] In truth, Zachary desired the same kind of communication ability she had. While may have been a Soothsayer, she could commune with ghosts. A similar reason why Zachary desired to be a Psychic trainer-- was for the rare trait that those grown with their pokemon. A bond that was almost a psychic sense to communicate with his Pokemon, if he knew how. As close as he was to Dizzy, it didn't always guarantee he could understand the fox. In the end, it came down to intuition and listening, like anything else. [break][break]
Just then, as they were talking-- the distant rumble of thunder occurred. A small splatter of water dropped onto Dizzy's nose, making the poor fox flinch. As he looked up, he soon began to see droplets of water falling from the sky. The fox looked grumpy as he soon tugged Zachary's sleeve-- grasping his attention to the weather. [break][break] "Uh oh... We may want to find shelter or something." Zachary suggested. [break][break] As luck would have it, at the bottom of the hill, there was a rather convenient cluster of trees-- almost like a hut of branches. It was well enough for them to not get hit by any torrents of rain if it decided to come down hard. [break][break] Seeing the shelter-- Dizzy didn't hesitate as he scampered down the hill with his flaming stick-- and turned to beckon the others to follow him. [break][break] Zachary hoped that Elice would follow too as he reached the bottom. Dizzy was already inside, but as Zachary approached-- he found out they were not alone. Dizzy had stopped, a bit puzzled on his face as he looked at someone across the small natural hut. [break][break]
Sitting there, over a cut-down tree stump of a 'table', was a strange-looking Pokemon. It was pink, wearing a strange scarf or neck warmer of some kind. It had a soft underbelly and had a round, soft face to it. Most noticeable was the massive shell it wore on its head, marked by a red gem. [break][break]
"Sllllllooooooooowwwww.... It yawned, as if to extend some kind of greeting, that lasted for more than five seconds... [break][break] Zachary blinked at the odd creature, unsure what it was. "What in the world...?" Zachary thought aloud as he took out his Pokedex-- a custom one based on the Ronphone, but more mixing in old features. It was blue and opened up to reveal the scan feature, soon showing the picture of the same Pokemon as a female voice spoke over it. [break][break]

"Slowking-- the Royal Pokemon. A Water and Psychic type. If a Shellder bites a Slowpoke's tail, Slowpoke evolves into Slowbro. But if a Shellder bites a Slowpoke's head, the Slowpoke evolves into Slowking, possessing great intelligence, knowledge, and inspiration. Known as the "Sage of the Sea", it inspires the proverb: "When in doubt, ask Slowking.". It is rumored that it contemplates the greatest mysteries in the world, but should the shell be removed from its head, it will lose all memory of it.

As they all gathered under the hut and the rain began to fall outside, they could see the inside of the hut looking like some 'witchdoctor's' home, or soothsayers. Elice may of very well gotten along with this one too. The Slowking sat there, using her tail as a cushion almost as it met them with a friendly face. [break][break]
"Um... hello there. I'm Zachary, and this is Dizzy. Sorry if we rudely intruded," Zachary said, concerned that they broke into its home. [break][break] Slowking gave a soft shake of its head and raised its arms in a welcoming gesture. Despite its seemingly simple face, it was clear its focus was on them-- happy to see them. [break][break] Zachary looked at Elise, unsure of what it was doing. "I'm a bit confused. Even for intelligent pokemon, do you think it really understands us? I was always told at best, they can pick up on gestures and feelings. But i didn't think any pokemon was THAT smart. Even for a psychic type." he whispered to Elise, wondering just how intelligent Slowking was.

"Haunting Good Time"

Mt. Pyre was as dreary as always. Zachary had ventured there, in the interest of starting his journey off with a bang-- sort of speak. His desire to become a Psychic Pokemon Trainer requires strong psychic types. Not that he was dedicated solely to them, but the promise to find them here of all places, was good. Still, even the gloomy cemetery was only so much a person could tolerate. Still, the majority of them would frequent spiritual places such as this. Still, the routes surrounding the hill and its graves were just as nice. Luckily there were some abandoned shacks and safe nooks to rest too among its surrounding woods. It seemed like a good place to take a break. Making camp was never easy-- but when you had a fire Pokemon in your corner, keeping warm on the cold nights was never too much of a problem. [break][break]
The evening had come and the overcast sky surrounding Mt. Pyre had not changed. It made the night come even sooner. He had hoped to see the stars out there, but it would be a bit too soon to wish for that. Either way, Dizzy-- Zachary's trusty Delphox kept him company. A round tent had been put up and Zachary was in good shape, as Dizzy provided a fire for them to keep warm around. Even with the modern tools Zachary had with him to endure his journey and plenty of food, it did feel like he was pushing himself. It would have been nice if a Pokemon center was on the routes here. For now though, Zachary and Dizzy were in a comfortable state. The events to start their adventure were no less eventful than suspected. But now it was time to get some rest. [break][break]
"We been working hard, haven't we Dizzy?" Zachary asked as he sat in front of the fire. [break][break] The big-eared Delphox turned and nodded. "Krr-rup Phox!" he replied with his bark. All the while the fox took his favorite stick he always kept and used it to stoke the fire, both with his power and the natural embers. [break][break]
Taking out his pack, Zachary looked over his food supply. He had plenty of food for himself and of course some of Dizzy's favorite food. The majority of his food was favored to certain Pokemon types, but he needed to be sure to feed them at appropriate times, even with their needs less urgent while inside their Pokeballs. Still, Zachary had a fondness for keeping them well cared for. At least till he got to a Pokemon center. "I wonder if there are any towns close to here. When I decided to come out here, I knew it was off the beaten trail but... " Zachary took in the forest surrounding them. It was bleak-looking due to the time of year and weather. It was almost that of a haunted forest. The fire they made barely illuminated the growing night. He couldn't even see any other Pokemon-- not even a natu around this place. Perhaps they were all hiding away for the night. Still, the sheer stillness of the quiet woods was unnerving that it made Zachary shiver a bit. [break][break] As he tucked in his knees and sat before the fire-- Dizzy took notice to his shiver. The kind Delphox scooted over and snuggled against his trainer. It was times like this, Zachary realized how much Delphox missed the old days when Dizzy was a small Finniken, and how often he would climb into his lap or onto his shoulders. While he was glad Dizzy evolved into a Delphox-- there were times they both missed those good old days. [break][break] Zachary gingerly scratched behind Dizzy's warm ears, causing a happy sound from the fox as they relaxed. Still, Zachary realized they would need to eat soon as he looked with his other hand to find something easy to eat. [break][break] However, it wouldn't be long till they would realize they were alone. Even then, a dark presence was prowling the woods-- almost like a predator interested in finding its prey... [break][break]

The very first journey of Zachary went from blissfully simple, to unspeakably tragic as he encountered one of his favorite Pokemon. An Abra. The elusive psychic type rumored to be the starter form of one of the best psychic Pokemon around. He had wanted to have one since he was a kid. [break][break] He had found one with his evolved Delphox, he named Dizzy. And was trying to catch it. However, it did what Abra's would do. Sleep and disappear via teleporting. [break][break]

But Zachary had no intention to give up, so he tried to find it again. The little Pokemon kept resting by riversides and in the shade, as Zachary would PHYSICALLY try to sneak up on it-- but it would slip by him. But soon it wasn't just teleporting-- it was awake. It was watching them. It was laughing at them. [break][break] Then to add insult to injury, the Abra would teleport behind him. The sneaky psychic Pokemon took Zachary's tarot cards from his pocket and slipped away.

"Oh, that does it!" Zachary shouted, his face twisted with anger. [break][break]

Dizzy, his Delphox companion was surprised and shocked by both the anger of his trainer-- and the fact Abra stole from him. All the while, Abra currently sat on a tree branch. Eager to get his cards back from the Abra's paws, he climbed the tree to catch him-- no longer interested in catching Abra as a Pokemon, but as a thief who took his most prized possession. [break][break]

Abra continued to sit there-- till the change in weight caused the branch to crack. The sheer momentum was all that it took for Zachary and Abra to get closer. Determined, Zachary lunged his arms and grabbed hold of Abra's arm. "Gocha!" Zachary declared. [break][break]

It was then, however-- was how the chaos started. Light enveloped both Abra and Zachary. In the blink of an eye, Abra's teleport whisked him away, along with Zachary! [break][break]

Dizzy looked wide-eyed and concerned as he looked around, trying to find where his trainer had disappeared to. After a bit of time, the poor fox realized they were no where to be seen. Concerned and lonely, the fox gave a loud howl-- calling out to his trainer! [break][break]

He had lost his trainer-- and his trainer was now lost in the wilds too!

Truth was more overcast weather was soothing for Zachary, at least majority of the time. Still he didn't scare easily. The only thing that got under his skin was bugs. Tons, and tons, of bugs. Bug types were the worst for him. Bad movies he seen of bugs that crawled all over and infested a person... enough said. So ghosts or creepy places didn't scare him easily. Dizzy, however, was a bit more on guard. As a psychic and supernatural type Pokemon, the fox didn't get scared by such places. But still, certain things did make the prickly fox's fur stand on end. So it kept his torch up to light the surrounding area. [break][break]

"I wonder if there are ruins here? Perhaps the Psychic types like to take shelter there, " Zachary thought aloud to Dizzy, as the fox kept him company. [break][break]
It was then that he heard the voice of someone. Dizzy outright jumped, his ears going high in the air, and soon saw the lovely woman in violet and the ghostly witch pokemon in toe. As she gave a soft comment of surprise herself, she approached. Zachary blinked. She was beautiful. It was an out of place thing to see a regal-looking woman among the hills and graves of this place. But he also was thrilled to see an amazing Pokemon-- Mismaegus. A Pokemon on his wish list to find someday. [break][break] Zachary gave a kind smile and nod of his head. "Well I find places like this tranquil too, but I did hear this is the place where Psychic Pokemon like to gather. Me, I'd imagine they'd be more at home at mysterious ruins or starry hilltops " Zachary commented with a smile. "Hi. I'm Zachary. Nice to meet you. I'm a new trainer and a psychic trainer by interest. "[break][break] "Bruuff-Ruff!" The Delphox barked, the flame of his stick growing brither, as if anticipating trouble. [break][break] Zachary sighed as he gave Dizzy a safe pat on the head-- between his overly hot ears. "And this fiery furball is my best friend Dizzy. He can be a bit overprotective but he is as sweet as he was as a Finniken" he explained. [break][break] Dizzy nosed a bit closer to the ghostly witch, curious about her as he looked the ghost over. [break][break]

The overcast sky was not ideal for a walk through the wilds of this region-- but Mt. PYRE was not known for being a more welcoming area. The ground was dried up from the winter. The sky dark and little sunlight was out-- much to a certain Fox Pokemon's liking. Still, the trainer and his trusty Delphox continued along the terrain. Despite the gloomy conditions, Zachary was determined to venture in this unknown location. It was rumored to be filled with supernatural pokemon, ranging from psychic types to ghosts... Even as the trees drooped and the wind howled in an eerie fashion, Zachary was determined to face its dangers. [break][break]

A late bloomer as a trainer, Zachary had finished school before starting his journey. As a result his trusty Finniken at the time grew into the now matured Delphox. "Drat... are any Pokemon out in this gloomy weather?" Zachary thought aloud as he looked around, finding the steep hills that led to the cemetery and the old buildings to dot the landscape. He was not aware of anyone else in the area. As far as he knew, they were alone...[break][break]

"Br-rrraaaaack!" Dizzy yawned, the fox sleepily looking around as he carried his flaming stick to illuminate the area, and provide some comfort from the cold breeze. It would only grow darker as the weather brewed to be more hazardous. Hopefully, it wouldn't rain-- for the fox's sake.
