"So you prefer Pokemon that you can ride on? That's cool," Zachary said with a smile. He sadly knew very few he could ride like that. The only 'flying' pokemon he had was his Natu Prophet-- and he was far too small. Even when he would eventually evolve, he would be a bit too small for Zachary to ride on. As Josh plainly stated, Psychic-type trainers eventually developed some types of abilities of their own. It was something Zachary hoped he could obtain-- but more than that, he just loved the company that came with the uniqueness of the Pyschic type Pokemon. [break][break] As they traveled, Kurlia tried to keep track of Haunter-- clearly the Kirlia had been chasing after that one for some time. However, it was becoming a problem for the little psychic fairy. It stopped ahead of them and looked around, but didn't seem to know which way to go. "Err... Kirlia...?" the little Kirlia cooed, unable to spot Haunter or Dizzy even with its enhanced senses. They were stuck for a moment-- as they seemed to lose their trail. [break][break] "Seems Kirlia lost them. Do we have a plan B?" Zachary asked in general. [break][break] Suddenly, there was a rustle behind some bushes nearby. As if on cue, a strange blue pokemon reared its head. "WYAAAAAA!!!" it cried out! It was a Wynaut-- a very rare and very unusual pokemon. A psychic type-- right up Zachary's ally. It didn't hesitate to jump right out and greet the hoard of lions and others there-- as if it was completely unintimidated by the big cats. [break][break] "A Wynaut? Wow... talk about Lucky. But hold on," Zachary said as he hopped off the Pyroar to get up close. The Wynaut was being loud near the Kirlia, tempting its patience as Zachary came closer to it. "Excuse me, Wynaut. Maybe you can help us. Did you see two Pokemon run by here? One was a haunter-- you know a haunter?" Zachary asked, trying to describe it. Realizing he had a better idea, he took out his Pokedex-- and showed him the picture of Haunter. Then, he took out his own cards-- and scrolled through them to take out "The Magician"[break][break] [break][break] Showing him a version of the tarot that had a Delphox among the Magician-- he hoped to give Wynaunt a good idea who he was looking for. "Have you seen them?" he asked.[break][break] "WYAAAAAAA!!" Wynaut cried out, super-enthused. This Wynaut was an oddball for sure-- no pack like they were supposed to travel in, and most of them were not that loud. As if on a caffine rush-- Wynaut ran with a clear and indicating sprint, running into a direction into the forest. [break][break] Kirlia looked mortified and stunned by the interaction, as did Zachary. "Huh... marches to the beat of his own drum, perhaps?" he commented-- but now they had a clear direction to travel. Without a word, Kirlia teleported forward, attempting to keep up now with the oddly energeic Wynaut. [break][break]

Zachary sprinted as far as he could, but the dragon was fast. Even for a ghost. He was prepared to keep going till he skidded to a stop, finding an edge to the path. The floor ended to a cliff, overlooking one of the running streams of the cave. Holding Abra, looked into the water, concerned if they could jump in and survive. "Talk about being between a rock and a hard place..." Zachary grumbled. Abra added on more as he grumbled too-- not voting to jump into the water. [break][break] It was then that suddenly a black bird Pokemon appeared and attempted to deviate the big dragon. It let out a cry as the sand got blasted into its eyes, blinding it. Zachary blinked, finding it all good timing. He looked around, trying to find a hiding place-- till he found a giant, round boulder of all things. He quickly ducked behind it and leaned against it, keeping hidden. [break][break] "Ahhh... this should keep us safe for a moment..." he said. Abra felt okay too... till he looked at a certain hole in the rock-- finding a pair of eyes look back at him. [break][break] "Ku-kurr! Kruu!" Abra shouted, pointing to the eyes in the rock. [break][break] Curious, Zachary looked soon finding it wasn't a rock he was leaning against. It was a shell, and the hole soon revealed eyes of something alive in there. "W-whoh!!" Zachary jumped.

The rock wasn't a rock-- but a Shelgon of all things, as it moved, acknowledging Zachary and Abra. [break][break] In that moment, as the Dragapult was distracted by the sand attack-- it soon let out a roar, and from its head, a series of tiny Dreepy dragons began to erupt from the head. They didn't attack in direct shoots-- but were out like a hoard of dragons, now filling the air around it. (Infestation). The dragons began to sprawl all over the place, trying to find the target of the main Dragapul's interest. The small Dreepy began to fly and surround Zachary and Abra-- along with Shelgon, pestering them. Though they didn't appear malevolent, they wouldn't leave them alone. "Gah! Hey, stop it! Shoo! Shoo!" Zachary urged, Abra too swiping a paw to keep them away from it-- though one landed on its head, adding to the silly situation. They too began to surround and pester Shelgon-- causing its eyes to narrow with anger. [break][break] As time passed-- the shell of Shelgon began to suddenly become red with anger and a growl of frustration began to show on the creature's 'face'. It was now using Rage-- ticked off by the pestering creatures that disturbed its nap. Zachary backed away from the dragon, clearly not wanting to suffer its wrath. [break][break]

From outside, Dizzy and Ever continued to march on in hopes to find Zachary and Abra. The fox kept up with Ever, but the look of concern was still clear on Dizzy's face. He was worried about the trainer he grew up with. Zachary and Dizzy been inseperable for years. The little Fox as a Finniken was raised by him and grew up with years, becoming smart and strong together. But Dizzy always looked out for Zachary, just as much as he did for him. He couldn't imagine what danger Zachary was in. "Krukruuu.." Dizzy whimpered a bit. [break][break] It was then that the shout from the cave reached Dizzy's ears. He heard him-- Zachary! The echo of his distant voice made the Fox dart around, trying to hear more where it came from it. Dizzy began to bark at Ever-- indicating he heard his master. He soon pointed a stick towards the waterfalls-- and inevvitably the cave system that lied beyond it! [break][break]

To Zachary's surprise, the stranger was not what or who he expected. His response was rather impulsive, as he didn't know anyone else was there in this empty mountain. This place was growing more and more popular for a graveyard. As the person turned, Zachary got to see them. It was a woman. A woman with black wavy hair and an elegant face. She looked almost so mysterious that Zachary could have easily mistook her for a ghost herself. The presence of her Pokemon was also not unknown as Dizzy too looked to see the Absol nearby. [break][break] Her answer was brusk but on point at Zachary's initial 'greeting'. He looked sheepish now as he stood there, dumbfounded besides the Delphox that held the tourch, giving better light for them all to see. [break][break] However, the cold reply made Zachary think HE had errored. He glanced to Dizzy, and then back to her, nervous that he may of been rude. " Um... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be rude or startle you." Zachary apologized, seeing her rather cold stare at him. He rubbed a hand behind his neck as he tried to think things out better. "I didn't know anyone was out here this late-- but well, who am I to talk?" he explained.[break][break] Dizzy, Zachary's Delphox glanced at Zachary and then shook his head, as if to 'sigh' from embarrassment. [break][break]"Maybe we can start over. I'm Zachary. Zachary Stellar. Good evening," he said with a smile. [break][break] "Bruk-bruk!" The Delphox barked.[break][break] Zachary rolled his eyes as he forgot to add. "And my pal here is Dizzy." The Delphox bowed his head in greetings to the mysterious girl. [break][break] While she seemed as cold still, Zachary hoped to try and be respectful to the woman. She seemed older than him, and probably more experienced as a trainer, if she was one. "Um... are you here exploring the temples here too? I was hoping to do some exploring and maybe find some treasure or something...?" he said, feeling a bit childish to say it outright. [break][break]

The Applin, GALA soon showed Tarot a game involving a ball and a hoop. Simple Basket ball. He observed as the Applin tried to explain and Tarot looked at the ball. As GALA tossed him the ball, Tarot saw the ball and soon raised his hands. He caught the ball and gingerly looked it over with his 'closed eyes'. He let out a soft purr of thought as he regarded the Applin and the hoop in the distance. The way he seemed 'slow', was more a matter of thinking, and less about him being 'sleepy' as many would presume. [break][break] After a moment, the Abra did something silly. Holding the ball, his body glowed, and -- blink-- he teleported away with the ball. No doubt it would surprise the little apple dragon-- but next place Abra would be would be hanging above the stand that held the hoop. Like some kind of monkey, Abra dropped the ball through the hoop with a pleased coo from him. It seemed the idea of 'cheating' was not a concept the Pokemon was familiar with. After all, Abra was a rebellious pokemon and only been in Zachary's care for a short time. At times, he still acted 'wild'. [break][break] Some pokemon may shout at him for cheating, but he would look around, clueless to what they would be mad about. In the end, the Abra seemed to operate to a beat of his own drum. [break][break] The ball rolled back to Applin, and Abra teleported back next to it, clearly liking to jump around using his Teleport. He would be great at hide and seek or something like that.

Zachary didn't intend to be among Mt. Pyre this long, but a lot was going on here. A lot of interesting people would come buy, and he met new faces, both friendly and scary. Finally, Mt. Pyre was now graced with a change of pace-- clear skies. Though now at night, the sky was no longer eclipsed by storm clouds and the gloomy air of death that hung over this cemetery. The stars twinkled, and the moon was bright in the sky. For now, Zachary was taking in the now fresh night air. Beside him, was his trusty Delphox Dizzy, keeping their surroundings bright by his lit stick he always kept with him. Both the boy and the fox were looking at the twinkling stars, enjoying the view and piece. [break][break] But there was something else Zachary wished to find beyond just Psychic Pokemon or stars... discovering mythical secrets. He knew this place was basically a big cemetery with the spirits of lost Pokemon and people. However, he wanted to find something special. Places like this held great secrets. While he didn't want to disturb the dead callously, he heard rumors back in town that special ruins dedicated to the psychic Pokemon were around here. Now that it wasn't so dark around them, he was curious to find it and see what they had to offer. [break][break] "Alright, Dizzy. Let's go find us some ruins. I bet we can find some cool treasure or something in there too. Like one of those RPG games!" Zachary said with childish optimism. It was one of his fantasizes to go on a treasure hunt in some magical ruins-- and the dangers inside too. [break][break] Dizzy gave a sarcastic leer at Zachary, but didn't argue. The fox still was loyal and of course, Zachary's best friend. He too, did share the desire to find new adventures in this place. [break][break] Out of habit, Zachary took a card from his Tarot deck-- divining any idea what he could expect as he would start his search for the ruins-- the ancient shrine around this place. As he did, he soon turned the first card over to find it. [break][break][break][break] The card, The Hermit greeting him. Its meaning to him as a 'solo adventurer' seeking something in his solitude. He didn't know what signnificance there was in that one, but he regarded the warning as he pocketed his cards, and left to find his missing temple. [break][break] Despite night, the area was surprisingly clear, and with Dizzy' aid providing fire to light their way. The two climbed the hall of tombstones and markers to reach the hilltop, the very zenith of Mt. Pyre, in hopes to find the old ruins. As they got closer, they soon saw stones that looked less and less like graves-- and more like building structures. As they approached the top of the hill, they could see far more of the mountain. As they did find areas that looked more like ruins of this mysterious place, they soon saw someone. A shadow standing among the stones and grass. Both Zachary and Dizzy looked surprise to find they were not alone. [break][break] "Huh? Hey there-- who are you?" Zachary asked, curious and unsure who or what it was. [break][break]
