THE BRIEFING

AN ANCIENT HISTORY MUSEUM OR ECCENTRIC PRIVATE COLLECTOR wants you to acquire some rare and ancient relics, works of art, or Pokémon, which can only be found deep within some mysterious ruins, an abandoned temple, a tomb to a long-dead king or queen, or a dusty catacomb lined with spiderwebs and coffins. There could be booby traps to dodge, curses to avoid, monsters or bandits to fight, slumbering Pokémon guardians to overcome, mazes or puzzles to solve, and—hopefully—chambers full of wondrous treasures and long-lost secrets to unearth. There's definitely danger and adventure to be found, so put on your explorer's hat, grab your whip and utility belt, and see what you can find![break]

Explore the ruins for any relevant goal, whether you're a League Ranger searching for rare Pokémon, the bookish type who wants to learn the ruins' mysteries, or a Rocket on the lookout for artifacts to smuggle and sell. Either way, watch your step! Expect an assortment of obstacles and traps for the reckless explorer.[break]

Alternatively, even ordinary graves can be unexpected sources of wealth, discovery, and knowledge! Go grave-robbing, and find treasures buried with the dead and supply doctors and researchers with the bones and flesh of the deceased for their studies and experiments. The stench of decay can become the smell of riches if you're brave and open-minded enough.
