With his garden located so close to the gym in Petalburg, Derek's Zeraora enjoyed to frequent it. Both to smell the flowers nearby, but also check up on the berries, which were it's favorite treat. But seeing that little goat trying to get in and eat the berries Derek was growing for him and his pokemon...

It awoke something in Gheleon, the Zeraora, who quickly ran down the Skiddo. It may have been young and spry, but it was no match for the fastest feline it'd ever seen. The PLASMA FISTS that batted against it's head and body weren't just enough to get it to leave...

But to remember that it should never come back again!

The gentle pulse of water spewing from Jonesy's open maw provides relief for the plants in Derek's garden, which he has decided to visit in order to check on his salac berries. He seemed to be a little late, but not enough to have lost any of the berries. Having placed new ones in the soil already, he'd be sure to show up sooner next time.

A quick rub on the Appletun's head was all he afforded the creature, seeing as it was in the middle of napping. It wasn't much of a deterrent, but at least it helped keep things growing. Derek would hate to lose out on his potential yield when these things were proving to be quite a costly investment. Well, to him anyway.

Allowing Jonesy to crawl up onto his shoulder, Derek closed the gate and headed back into the city. It wasn't a good look for a gym leader to be lateto his own battle, now was it?
