A soft chuckle escaped Emiliana's throat, clicking her heels to urge the equine legend forward. [break][break]

"If Hoenn falls, there is no stopping Team Rocket. I only wish I could have enlisted in the conflict in Kanto...Kalos didn't consider it a threat at the time." A clear distaste carried through her tone, annoyed and frustrated at the inaction of her government towards the terrorist uprising. Politics wasn't a game that Emiliana played, she was always about doing what her gut determined to be right, and no one could tell her otherwise.[break][break]

"I'd certainly appreciate the lodgings, you have quite the charming town here." There was no sarcasm in her tone, she saw how the people of Dewford had banded together, worked to keep their hamlet from falling to the darkness that knocked at the gates.[break][break]

"I could always show you what a knight of Kalos is capable of first hand, Sir Navidson." A wry smirk crawled across her lips as she flicked her gaze in his direction, keeping pace with his steed.

As the swarm was mentioned, her gaze flicked towards the source of the buzzing. Emiliana hummed softly while she considered the appropriate method of assault, attempting to resist her urge to run in sword first. [break][break]

"We divide and conquer." She turned on heel back toward the man, placing a hand on the Pokéballs affixed to her hip. "Disperse and many of them as we can, then we neutralize the those that remain." An elegant plan, crafted by the sharp mind of the Duchess of Snowbelle herself. Which, reminded her of a social faux pas she'd been committing since this conversation began.[break][break]

"Emiliana, a pleasure." She returned, in kind.

Icy-blue eyes landed on the shape of a man, apparently similarly mystified by the Combee swarm. She raised a gloved hand and began trotting in their direction, adjusting the scabbard on her back.[break][break]

"I suppose you are on bug duty as well, yes?" It would be nice to have help with the situation, Emiliana didn't have a particular fondness for insects.

Ice and vodka filled the glass before returning, she scooped it up and took a deep drink, savoring the burn of the alcohol with a sharp inhale. Emiliana spun around on her stool, icy blue eyes scanning the bar for someone interesting to entertain her. "Not you, not you-...hmm?"[break][break]

Grabbing her drink, Emiliana pushed herself away from the bar, sauntering towards her intended target with a determined gait. "You seem as though you could use some company. Allow me to save the day." She smirked as she slid into the seat, taking a small drink.

The sudden crack of ice drew the knight's attention, shifting their attention to a Weavile that stalked them between blades of frozen grass. "I've got this one." A soft hum escaping her lips as she plucked a Pokéball free from her belt. Abomasnow appeared in a flash of light, bringing a WOOD HAMMER down on the Pokémon.[break][break]

She tossed an empty Pokéball at the Weavile while it was stunned, turning her attention back to Elise. "Galar is much safer for a Princess than this place, no?"

Swimming wasn't exactly the past-time of someone who'd grown up in a city of perpetual winter, but she at least knew HOW to. You kick your legs and hold your breath, simple.[break][break]

Snorkeling gear made this more complex, but she was determined to achieve some manner of success today.[break][break]

It was this confidence that caused the potentially misguided decision to go right for a MAGIKARP SPLASH. Clambering onto the Mantine, she awkwardly drove the Pokémon into the waves, going for broke.[break][break]

The words were spoken with soft disbelief, in awe that the Pokémon could create such a frigid tundra in the heart of this tropical region.[break][break]

She turned toward Elise, exhaling a cloud of hot breath into the air. "You know you are insane for living in Hoenn, right?" A smirk crawled over her lips, turning on heel to step deeper into the glacial biome. [break][break]

"I appreciate you accompanying me here. The bulk of my Pokémon remain in Kalos, I'll need more if I am to fight." Two Pokémon weren't enough to take on Team Rocket, these terrorists fought to kill and chances were she'd lose one before returning home.

Abomasnow surged forward as the gout of flames erupted from their Pyroar, the needles on their form rustling rapidly as a conjured ICY WIND erupts forth from their body. Ice clashed against fire, unable to overcome but disrupting it enough to dampen the effect of the attack.[break][break]

Metal clacked against tile as Emiliana took off into a sprint, looking to close the distance between them. "Looks like I'm choosing to run." She mocked, swinging her sword in a large arc towards Helena. [break][break]

The Abomasnow raised their arms toward their Pyroar, RAZOR LEAF causing the needles to explode outward, a shower of projectiles falling in their direction.

After a moment she released the hug, stepping backwards. "Beautiful and cold. This whole region is a sauna, how do you live like this?" She grinned, crossing her arms over her breastplate.[break][break]

"So, you have to tell me how all of this happened. Is your cousin Remiel dead?" Knowing their reputation for being a heartbreaker, Emiliana wouldn't have been surprised if Remiel Calcifet met his demise at the hands of a forlorn lover.[break][break]

Regardless, it was impressive how far her childhood friend had come.

"Emiliana, a pleasure." Her grip was firm, as expected from the size of the sword sheathed on her back.[break][break]

"I should thank you for having me here in Dewford." She let out a weary sigh as she surveilled her surroundings, crossing her arms over her chest-plate. "Some find working with someone such as myself intimidating." [break][break]Icy blue eyes darted to the sword on his hip, obvious interest in the blade shown in her gaze. "Luckily I find refuge with the first knight of Hoenn."[break][break]

Emiliana followed Navy to the frozen stallion with a pleased smiled, reaching a hand to stroke their icy mane. "An excellent choice in steed, I wouldn't dare decline." She hefted herself onto the Pokémon with ease, used to the equine form as royalty tended to be.[break][break]

"Uneventful for the most part, adjusting to the heat was the worst part. Your whole region is like a sauna." She bemoaned, driving the Glastrier to follow the Sheriff on their tour.
