Makoto exhaled softly, as they settled in on Ryuu's back. They didn't have the best association with beneath the waves - the submarine was not the most pleasant place to be, after all. But, perhaps some fun activities would help ease their feelings about it all..?

"God dammit." A cigarette flickered to life as the admin regarded the ocean blue. "Not this shit again."

Last time he had gone Clamperl diving, Howard had almost drowned, found a helium bubble under the ocean that had blown up in his face, and unearthed an ancient ruin. Hopefully there wasn't another submerged island with ruins under there, or Howard was going to kick Kyogre in the shins and run away.

Still, the chance to pay off his rent with various undersea knickknacks. They'd make a fine addition to the paperweights he used.

"In we go." Howard took a deep breath and checked his diving equipment. "Hup!"

As he fell into the sea, Howard frowned. Wait isn't this oxygen highly compresse-

After not being able to do the trick as proper from the surfing Mantine, Elise tries her hand at Clamperl Diving, an activity she had done last summer. Her Vaporeon jumps in the water after her and they’ll dive together to find one of the Clamperl in order to find a treasure. Mipha is the first to find a Clamperl and she brings it over to the ambassador. They swim up to the surface, happy to find something that she and her Vaporeon did together.[break][break]

suppose that an ounce of fun under the sun wouldn't hurt anyone, or at least, it wouldn't do much to deter a certain ranger from catching some waves. or some hidden treasures under the sea for that matter. maybe now was a better time than any to test his frogadier's swimming ability, or maybe not. silverio ought to consider enlisting the help of a better-known deep-diver.

in any case, this was sure to be an experience that's worth writing home about.

Taking a break from hanging out with the girlies in the resort to go diving? Sure, why not? Maybe she could even find some treasure. Riding on the back of her Shiny Gyarados, the young PokéManiac explored the depths of the Hoennian sea.

“Alright, Whiskers, let’s dive in!” The girl said, putting her swimming goggles on and inhaling a mouthful of air.

Hideo's swimming skills were about the same as they were last year, and the year before that, and the year before that.

Which, was to say, nearly non-existent.

It was why he was sitting on an inner tube, floating above the water, chaperoned by a floating Starmie. It was why it was his Walking Wake that swam underneath the water, its crest sticking out of the water like a Sharpedo stalking its prey as it searched around for any "shiny stuff" its trainer told it to find.

And the moment it did, it dove under the water, the sudden movement pulling in water - and Hideo's tube as well. He was able to stay above water, but his Starmie was close.

It let out a small set of worried noises.

"I'm sure Raptor'll be alright," Hideo said, still clinging to his tube. "The waters here are pretty safe."

That wasn't what his Starmie was worried about.

She stood at the edge of the dock. She had very little formal equipment on, choosing a regular swimsuit, goggles, and the assistance of her Dhelmise to keep her from drowning or floating to the top before she could successfully dive. She had never quite mastered her breath to manipulate her depth in the water, so Dhelmise was going to clutch the activity for her. "We have plenty of shots to catch a Clamperl," she assured her pokemon. Dhelmise had no visible expression, so it was hard to gauge its reaction. She dived anyways.
