Last year’s Clamperl diving event left her with a lot of trash. It was rather disconcerting.

So, when she heard it was happening again, she didn’t hesitate to grab her flippers. After a bit of sorting and ceding her place in line, she finally reached the platform. A few platforms over, her mother and husband were visible above the water.

With an uncharacteristically cheeky grin, the redhead gave a wave. The weather was beautiful and even her inner demons were enjoying it. “Three, two, one…” She and Serena dove off the platform.

After embarrassing himself in front of his girlfriend, Doug went Clamperl diving to nurse his (literally) sore back.

Gosh, wiping out at the waves really could suck quite a bit.

"Ooh, nice find, love." He gasped, cocking his head at the gem in Yuina Higashi's hand, finally putting on his own diving gear. "Think I can find a matching one?"

Wouldn't that be nice?

Well, she would have to try another day at Mantine Surfing since her form wasn’t the best at doing the Primarina Twist. Her Barraskewda swims with her down to the group of Clamperl as he dives to take a look at them. Tonbokiri swam around the group of the clam Pokemon as Elise takes one of them to get whatever item it could hold inside the shell.[break][break]

As the Barraskewda accompanies the ambassador up to get air, a smile came onto the ambassador’s face and she opens the Clamperl for the Barraskewda to look at too.

she was excited for another year of these events, having assumed they would not happen with more violence looming so close on the horizon. but hoenn had always had a way of pressing on, despite the chaos.[break][break]

diving out of the heat and underneath refreshing waves, she explored the area sectioned off for the diver’s event, searching for the shine of precious stones, or tutors. her milotic illuminated the shadows beneath rocks, aiding her search.[break][break]

Allegedly.

Even as the archaeologist sunk to the bottom of the ocean, a Pokeball floated to the surface as a sign of his still beating heart. Maybe it was a call for help, a desperate hail mary in an attempt to survive the weight of his own folly.

Alas, only the Wooper knows the truth.

And the truth is apathetic. It does not care. Thus, the Wooper does not care either. It simply observes the foundational principles of the world and offers wisdom to Eris Halla as she stumbles through life on her small, stubby legs.

Yet as the Wooper devours the Pokeball, it sees something else nearby.

This felt... wrong somehow. Robbing the ocean of its natural treasures in exchange for profit seemed like a morally bankrupt thing to do.

Still, who was Rex to judge. If everyone else was doing it, then he was allowed to as well, right? He toed the water balefully for a moment, before taking a deep breath. His Pokeballs were left vacant on the surf as he jumped beneath the waves.

On the beach, his Pokeball twitched as the Togepi within began to stir.
