"its whereabouts are disclosed for reasons beyond my control, but those scientists may have some answers for you at mossdeep's space center." a chiming chuckle. there were a few, or rather many, that saw what went on.

"perhaps, rather then threatening, you use a little bit of rocket persuasion to get some of them on your side. where ever that being may have manifested from, i have quite the feeling that we'll be seeing it again." call it a hunch, but it wasn't their last time foreseeing it. bringing his palms together, the man continued on, "speaking of those scientist, you're probably thinking about what city to attack next."

his gaze was as sharp as aluxray, his bite as strong as a tyrunt. "and therein lies your purpose: power." he rose his right index finger. "you know what it means to be strong. how to instill fear into the people..." he began to turn his back upon silas. walking away as he spoke, "you stole a city, you stole their leader--" he'd whisper, turning toward silas and raising a hand near the mouth of his mask, as if whispering, "only to lose her..." continuing, "...but you're the real victor here. i'd say you've played quite a strong hand not once, but twice!" he rose another finger on his right hand--the middle.

"do you think the league is quivering, right now?" snapping his fingers, the masked man responded with precision, "no, of course not! it's only a matter of time before their wounds become their strength." the league has fallen not once, but twice now. it's only a matter of time until retaliation is necessary. " despair can be our greatest ally, but our most troublesome enemy." if silas could only see the smile which lay behind the mask.

"as you may have heard, the champion of hoenn has chosen to step down. i'm sure word has reached slateport," an opportunity had opened, "the people are in greater fear more than ever. some, of course, are happy that a position has opened for their childish dream. but with the loss of slateport, dahlia's capture, and the champion's resignation, why not help the league out in ruining their reputation a little more? i'm sure they'd be grateful."

raising another finger, he'd add, "...but first, before we continue on with league, i'd like to talk about an interesting occurrence." a sinister look laid behind a white mask. a piercing stare, hidden, eyed silas, "i'd like to give you the chance to wield both a strong and weak hand." what did he mean by that? well, silas was about to find out.

"sometime ago i stumbled across something..." he tried to find a word for it, "...surreal so to speak. an unfathomable entity which manifested from a world beyond our understanding." reaching into the coat of his jacket, the masked man would pull from it a yellow envelope. walking over to silas, he'd hand him the envelope. inside of it were blurred pictures. they were faint, but before the technology was intercepted snippets of the creature were caught. "don't worry about how i got it, just know that what you're staring at," had silas chosen to take the envelope to begin with, "is something not of this earth and intriguing power."

"whether it's a new species of pokemon or not isn't important. this is a minor discussion after all, but just know that its power is the real deal." the masked man began to walk away once more, returning to keeping their distance between them far apart. "my goal is to create the most perfect imperfect being, one befitting of the power to call themselves not a king nor a god..." fingers clasped together to create a circle. he peered through the hole to his goal, "...but the true avatar."

[attr="class","letter1e"] "yoo-hoo!" a hat in a white gloved hand showed at the doorway. the unidentified assailant of those items took a single step into the limelight. the male figure took a standing ovation, bowing before the man known as SILAS BLACKWELL .

"salutations and a humble g'day!" a pep in his tone. he remained where he stood, raising his body to place back upon his head a top hat. a mask donned his face, his voice cloaked. "it's a pleasure to meet the one and only, silas himself. i am not worthy of such a grandeur meeting..." a hand brought to his chest, the other guided toward silas. "you're not one for small chat, so i'll make it short..." standing straight, the masked man ceased his prattling.

"in a card game, would you prefer a weaker..." he raised his left hand, "...or stronger," he raised his right. gloved palms shown to be empty, "any sane person would choose 'stronger', right?" closing his right palm, he'd gesture toward his left, "but what about the weaker. sure, it's no threat to you. but what if the goal was to obtain a weaker hand? stronger is better, right? but being weak can be powerful..." extending his left hand toward silas, he'd add, "...that is, if the goal was to possess a weaker hand anyway." a titter escaped from behind the mask, only for silas to be asked right after, "which is which? who do you think holds the stronger hand and who do you think holds the weaker hand?"

[attr="class","letter1e"]looking back, arian watched as the scientists ran with their tails between their legs. "i think they've got that part covered." arian said, a face of disappointment watching as they fled. some chose to remain. turning to face the alien creature, arian made sure to stand near bailey. removing two ball capsules from his pocket, he'd toss them to send out two new pokemon.

"as if i'd let you have all the fun, you drunkard!" her meowstics, alongside alakazam, did great with their frontal assault. but it seemed as though it only did but so much. though arian hadn't noticed it, alakazam sure did. luckily, gardevoir and gallade appeared. "connect us, gardevoir!" and through TELEPATHY he'd link the following: alakazam, gallade, and arian.

a soft yet masculine voice spoke, "link success, with one addition to the party." arian could now save his breath. the alien pokemon was planning to retaliate. alakazam, quickly, looked back to arian who would command gallade to use PROTECT upon the scientists whom remained bunched together. but who would protect arian from venom drench?! alakazam of course.

⁽⁸⁷⁾alakazam used TELEPORT. he'd come to utilize his psychic ability to hover over arian in order to take the liquid force of venom drench for arian, gardevoir, and Bailey Cooper . covering the trio with his body as if he were an umbrella. arian, surprised, hadn't commanded alakazam to do such a thing. he merely chose to act of his own volition. once the end of venom drench came to a stop, alakazam came to kneel before the trio and wince in pain. arian ordered gardevoir to produce first aid, thus using HEAL PULSE to cleanse his wounds.

as gardevoir provided first aid, arian called upon gallade, with his voice, "gallade, front and center; prepare for battle, quickly before it can use another move, white waltz!" uttering a command. gallade, then, utilized ⁽⁸³⁾DOUBLE TEAM upon launching forward at the beast. multiple imagery were created to make it seem as if there were many gallade's hurdling toward the beast. attempting to confuse it, there were 10 gallade's currently maneuvering about.

⁽⁵⁵⁾once close enough, had the beast chosen not to move nor dodge, gallade, next, released a series diagnol slashes and a multitude of kicks at the alien creature. this maneuver had been none other than CLOSE COMBAT, hidden in the form of a combative dance.

[attr="class","letter1e"]the guy decided to fight back. his path was cut off already by the mighty squad, so why not fight? it made sense. arian, watching as the ampharos prepared to release an eelctric assault. arian's seviper already knew to chase them down. emerging from the tall grass, seviper would coil around the ampharos and his trainer. "you attack seviper, you'll be attacking your trainer. so why not just stay there until the league's officiers come to arrest you both?"

seviper tightened the grip upon the ampharos and its trainer. contacting kyle lopez by the radio, he'd say, "and that's a win for me..." little did kyle know, "...if it were an actual competition; nice try, mighty boy." arian revealed, "if you wanted to obtain your freedom from me by challenging me, you could've just asked? why submit yourself willfully?" arian questioned the dog tamer. "you're pretty famous for both your want to train only canine pokemon and personality!" he pointed toward kyle's direction.

his infamy and accomplishments made the male well-known. especially since he was one of the heroes to have safely brought dahlia back. "how about this, as an apology for attempting to trick me. come challenge my gym and wager your entire freedom to work under me for the remainder of your life? you win, you get my badge. i win, you're mine in body and all; i think that's a fair trade? all you have to do is come out victorious." chuckling, the wager was an outrageous one. would you call it fair? probably not, but the value was equivalent to a badge.

[attr="class","letter1e"]in the process of treatment, two new pokemon joined; though, only one, seemed dangerous. "a loudred..." calling out seviper with a single toss of the snakes ball, arian returned gengar. "quickly, coil!" as the loudred proceeded to gather a breath of air to prepare for a loud scream. seviper, with a speedy slither, coiled itself around the normal-types mouth.

"choke it out." the loudred tried to shake the pokemon off, but to no avail it could not. the loudred, slowly, began to fade into a deep slumber due to lack of oxygen. and just like that the pokemon was quelled. "we'll apprehend it for now, it'd be troublesome for the pokemon to follow us. their species can..." drifting his gaze to the side, "easily be angered and hold a grudge." so, with a single toss, arian captured the unconscious loudred.
