"Hey wait! My beef is with you!" Kaz called out to the Royal Pain in The Ass as he disappeared into the woods leaving his lackey and Kaz with his sidekick on their lonesome. This was almost expected of him and Kaz sort of knew that he was probably going to get this muscle headed metal lizard look-a-like do his dirty it still was a bit of a sore spot that he let him just go like that. Guess that just meant he would need to deal with the current obstacle who seemed like they were eager to fight, on the surface anyway because something about his stance didn't quite scream "fighter" to Kazimir.

Still it was better to not underestimate anything especially in this world. "Well if I gotta get through you first then, bring it on big boy." His little Alcremie fairy gave a small applause for his courage which was a helping hand for Kaz as he took the first step and ran up at the Fighter to deliver a jumping kick right at him. The Fighter did prove himself competent as he raised up his arms to block the oncoming attack and shrug it off, pushing Kaz back to the floor as he then rolled out of the way of an iron tail that slapped the ground with a mighty crunch.

As he got to his feet the floor underneath him began to be covered in pink mist as the Alcremie set up a misty terrain to assist Kaz in any shape or form. A valiant effort that the human hoped he could make use of somehow. Turning his attention back to the Fighter he watched as it taunted him with a gesture and a roar to come at him once again. Thanks to the smell of the Alcremie's aroma veil that entered his nostrils Kaz was able to keep his cool as he circled around the fighter to try and find an opening on it.

"Seriously why work for that guy huh? Ain't he just a complete jerk, heck he couldn't even leave you some back up to stop me, cause let me tell you this." The human started to run again, making the Alcremie worried but knew that with a calm mind it could give the encouragement he needed. Unfortunately Kaz was quicker to act and charged ahead, this time slipping around the Aggron and delivering a drop kick to its back.

While the Dragalage manages to hit its mark the retaliation is something that it could move out of the way fast enough. The night shade managed to graze its fins as it falls back and camouflages with its surroundings to give itself a moment to catch its breath. That did leave Kazimir and his other Pokemon at the mercy of their foe and Kaz was unfortunately one who was affected more than the poison dragon.

What he thought was a smart move was turned around on him as the girl suddenly jumped up and used his body as a springboard to get behind him. Of course he came to a stop to try and turn around but before his body could even start to twist he felt a foot plant itself into his back and cause him to fall to the ground. As he's eating the dust off the tile of the floor it gives him a front row seat to his Incineroar getting slapped with another Aqual Tail and knocking him back to the ground. Kazimir couldn't help but wince and quickly drew out his Pokeball to return the large cat to shelter before swapping with another ball.

"Alright, let's start to get a bit more serious." He growl as he looked back at the girl and threw his ball at her causing it to open. Suddenly a large orange dragon popped out of it and was staring right at her before letting out a roar. "Scorch! Fry that bug!" Kaz called out catching the attention of his dragon as it turned and locked eyes with the large bug pokemon and beat its wings to sent out an air slash to cut it down to size.

The sudden appearance of the Marshadow gave the masked hero pause as his stare was so focused on it that he almost didn't see the guy suddenly make a move with his shadow partner following his lead. Seeing another one of those own by someone like this guy left a bad taste in Kaz's mouth.

As the little shadow charged with its icy fist the Roserade took the brunt of the attack by crossing its arms to absorb the impact as much as it could. While the cold touch of it was sending shivers all over the heroic plant's body it just gave a smirk underneath the pain. Letting one of its arms drop its guard before swinging it upward the grass type let out a yell as the magical leaves it had out suddenly sprung to life and gathered into a cluster right above the Marshadow before raining down on the little shadow's head.

Kazimir, or rather Pokkenger, could see the man's arm come right at him and he was quick enough to grab the guy's wrist as it was just about to hit his body, or rather the knife that he was holding. Guess that meant that he was a bit more serious than the grunts they took down. That thought alone almost brought a hint of excitement to Kaz but focus kept him in check.

He twisted the man's wrist while it was in his grip to try and get him to let go of the knife while also bring his leg up to try and kick him right in the ribs from the side just as swiftly. With the way this guy was quick to go for his weapon meant that he probably wasn't the run of the mill good, Pokkenger would need to be careful here.

His whole body felt like it was bubbling up, or was it just his emotions. As the creatures got closer and closer it seemed like nothing they threw at them was working. Was this the end? It really couldn't nor should it be. Still the options he was left with was almost non-existent until a small cry reached his ears.

Looking down he spotted a Ralts pointing towards what looked like their way out. That was when a tiny bit of hope sparked again in his chest and the man scooped up the Ralts into his arms. "Hey! Better pick up the pace! Looks like we wore out the welcome!" He called out to Eris before running right at her and stood beside her as his Armorage set up another wide guard to keep any more hostiles at bay. "Just grab what ya can and go, i'll cover ya. Or hell I'll pick ya up and carry you out myself."

"My pops did say I was able to take a lot of punishment as a kid. Guess I just jump back up faster than most people." It was probably a weak explanation for Doug's answer but as Kaz stretched his body by tilting and twisting his upper body it was the only one he could give. Its not like he had anything different in him from the average person, at least not anymore anyway, so good genes was probably what was going on. That or John was getting better with his weird medical experiments and Kaz wanted to believe that was the case if he had been using this stuff before.

When he was asked by the medic to describe if anything was still hurting and if he could show a bit more range of motion to make sure everything was working as intended. "Hm...I guess my spine feels a little heavy, but flexible? Its kind of a weird feeling, like I can feel both at the same time." He then raised his arms and suddenly fell to the side and did a near perfect cartwheel with the only flub being that landing on his feet as he had to take another step to regain his balance.

"Whoa...ok. Not perfect. But I think you're really onto something Douggie. You gonna give that to those Rockets back there?" He craned his head to see his Blissey joined by his Minior trying to get some of them onto their feet and failing. Kaz just let out an almost regretful sigh. "Cause I think they could use some help." Their health was a far greater priority than his hate for them.

The "calm" that they had was disrupted by the explosion of the core and the intensity that surrounded the cavern skyrocketed. Both Kaz and his Armorage clutched their heads as powerful headaches banged themselves against their skulls. Their eyes fluttered with each pulse from their brain and every time their eyes opened up the world seemed to change around them. Everything got darker, more purple, and even began to twist itself into something else, such as whirlpools starting to form right under their feet.

As Kaz jumped off of one he called out to the only other person with him, reaching out to them like he was going to grab them by just holding out his hand. "Eris! Hey you alright?! Don't fall into the ground!" A cry belonging to something not human echoed through the cave and caught Kaz's attention. Turning his head he saw the familiar top of a Nihilego bob from the hall only to rise up and instead of its usual dress the head was mounted onto a stick held by a Gardevoir. This one didn't look like a normal one though, instead it's dress was blood red and puffed out, as if it had mega evolved, and on its face was a Duskull mask. Only the mask looked like it was actually made of skin instead of bone the closer and closer it walked towards them.

Kaz blinked once. The way this creature carried itself seemed almost human, and its features weren't very grotesque, but something about it seemed to tell him one thing. That this was an omen. Too bad for the creature Kazimir wasn't the most superstitious person around so he only gave it a response, "Blast it away!" His Armorage put its hands together to form its cannon and launch an armored cannon shot right at the creature.

The Poison Tera Crystals glow bright as all manner of terrible things appear, drawn from the conscious of those affected by the Eternatus core. Eventually, these manifested figures will expire, disintegrating into nothing but residual Dynamax Energy.

As the pair manage to slowly fill up their haul with treasures Kazimir could swear he starts seeing shapes of creatures out of the each corner of his eyes. Yet when he turns to look they vanish into some kind of mist, the same kind that starts to fill up the cavern as they work. As it surrounds them he couldn't help but see the world around them slowly morph into something it wasn't. It was even accompanied by the sound of Ultra Beasts approaching them from deep within. The head of a familiar looking jellyfish creature caught Kaz's eye and he was quick to reach down to his belt.

"I think we're about to have some company come our way. Don't worry lil' Eri ya just keep getting us the goods and I'll tussle with anything that comes our way." He wanted to sound confident but his thoughts weren't completely focused as the visions he was seeing kept throwing him off. At the very least he could do his best to keep his promise as he released his Armorage who put up a wide guard to keep them all safe should the beasts deep within decide to come at them.

Both hero and Pokemon stood back to back as they surveyed their work. A few grunts were still on their feet but their faces gave off a hint of hesitation as a few of them shared glances between Pokkenger and their buddies on the floor. The masked hero never took his veiled eyes off of the ones still standing.

All it took to break his focus however was the sound of someone new approaching from the stairs and asking who he was. From under the helmet Kaz just grinned, "Just a friendly garbage man taking out some trash is all. And this here is my assistant." The Roserade smirked as it let some leaves fall out of its hands before they started to swirl around the pair of them and suddenly point right at the masked Zev and his other goons as if they were ready to fly off like darts.

"So let's get ya'll nice and packed up in the dumpsters so the cops can take ya away yeah?" The magical leaves inch a little bit closer as he makes his demand, "Cause I'd like to try and avoid making more dirty laundry here."
