What was found [M]

”Good.” They were making good progress so any complications would be terrible right now. ”We should be wrapping up soon.” And with that she was then called to check something that was found.

Outside of making sure that things went smoothly in terms of protection Eva was also there to appraise anything that was found and wasn’t clear on if it had any value.

”What is it?” She’d leave Cadis to it while she went to go check out whatever it was.

Eva let out a deep sigh, checking where they currently were there was a bit of time before they reached where this person was hiding so she could explain the story. ”Thanks.” She’d start, running a hand through her hair before continuing.

”During the period where you came in power, rocket split and I was given the position of head scientist there were plenty of people who got lost in the shuffle, as you of course know.” That period was definitely a headache with all the messes they had to fix. Just thinking about it was going to give her one.

”Some of the previous staff within the research department defected and while most have been dealt with one, in particular, managed to get away with some sensitive data, identities of personnel and research data just to name a few things that this individual might have on hand. Add on to that the fact that they’re a real piece of shit and we’ve got a problem to deal with. Asshole took my data and some of it I didn’t have backups for and I’m getting it back.” She’d explain, gritting her teeth at the end.

Before she’d follow Cadis, Eva gave the grunts a thumbs up as they received their Pokémon as a sort of way of saying good luck to them before she’d then follow the Rocket Boss.

”Yeah teaching isn’t really my thing.” She’d sigh, the very thought having to get stuck doing something like that as a job making her shiver.

”Hey if he’s up to it I don’t see why not, be good to keep him busy.”

”I’ll be there in a sec! Got a few more to deal with.” And she wasn’t really joking when she said she only needed a second as the ghost Pokémon that appeared next weren’t much of a match for her dark types.

Once her ghosts were dealt with she’d walk up the steps and watched Cadis take care of his own ghost troubles. ”Looking good, boss.” Eva smiled; it looked like they were done cleaning up here.

”I think the ghosts will leave this place after this. They seem to be here for fun, not to get their ass beat.” The Pokémon downstairs definitely high tailed it out of here after they regained their consciousness or realized if they stayed they’d get another beating.

They had successfully stopped the sheep snatcher as the combination of Cadis’ Gardevoir psychic abilities and Eva’s Hydreigon’s Dragon Pulse did the trick. The lights went off and the Beheeyem went down and now they’d have to figure out what they were going to do with it.

”Eh we can give it to the grunts; they’ll probably get more use out of it than I would.” She’d shrug. While she could think of a lot of uses of the Pokémon she felt she was being a bit too selfish and for Rocket as a whole it’d probably be better to use it in other ways.

Scooping up the Beheeyem and alerting the rancher that his problems were gone would wrap up this job.

A Darkest Lariat from Eva’s Incineroar was enough to completely stun the two ghost Pokémon, both having no idea what they were up against with the Rocket Scientist.

Followed by a Cross Poison from the Drapion the two ghosts were down for the count. With those two down more ghosts seemingly appeared from the walls, much to the excitement of Eva’s Pokémon.

”How are you doing up there, Boss?” Eva would shout, hoping he was having as much fun as she was.

Eva laughed as well, watching Cadis help the grunt up; they were having a bit too much fun with this.

”Ice and steel types also do well against Dragons but remember dragons normally come with a large pool of moves so keep that in mind when dealing with them. And it will be your assignment to raise a dragon that you’ll be assigned to. Based on how you do will determine whether you’re fit to keep said dragon.” Eva had a group of pokeballs containing dragon types to hand out to each of the grunts.

While Eva thought it was still a silly idea Cadis did have a point. ”Capture them, shoo them away, I think the client doesn’t care as long as they don’t steal his Pokémon.” Eva replied.

And their time to shine would come as the dark night sky was lit up with an assortment of colorful lights, an indication that the Beheeyem was here. The Rocket Scientists released her Hydreigon, ordering it to fire off a dragon pulse toward the lights but only after they get to witness what the Pokémon was up to.

And much like it was described some of the Wooloo below, whom which were running about in fear, were being lifted into the air.

”Oh wow, look at that!”

Eva was honestly surprised that the grunt managed to walk up to the dragon without completely shitting themselves. Maybe this group wasn’t as bad as Eva was thinking they are, or perhaps an order from the boss outweighed any sort of fear that they might have of the dragon and instead fear towards him.

”Oh yeah sure go ahead.” She replied.

”Sounds good to me.” She replied, wandering off as well. Just to make things even safer she also released her Drapion. The only downside to having these two dark types around were their love of fighting, both just jumping at every little thing as they were ready to fight.

”Behave you two, we’re not here to make a mess.” Last thing she needed was for them to break shit and having to pay for repairs. Stepping into the living room the once off TV came on, nothing but static showing.

”Nice.” She’d roll her eyes as a pair of ghost Pokémon came from the walls, a Haunter and Duskull. Her two Pokémon jumping to confront them.

”Spaceship?” She was confused at first but it clicked rather quickly.

”Oh, I don’t believe that crap.” The scientist waved away the very thought of a spaceship being used.

”I think in combination of the Beheeyem using their psychic powers and the fact that’s happening at night and they have those lights that it LOOKS like spaceships, nothing more than that. I don’t know where they’d get something like that anyway, it’s a ridiculous thought.” she explained.

Ghost type Pokémon can be incredibly annoying whenever they get bored and want to have some fun. She had firsthand experience with her own ghost types and past experiences.

”That’s a nice way of putting it.” Eva started, releasing her Incineroar from his pokeball.

”I’d put it more as they’re annoying pests but we share the sentiment of them being bored.” Once inside and deeper into the house it didn’t take long for them to confront a ghost as one went flying past them.

”Want to split up? Take on different parts of the house?”

While Cadis was explaining Eva watched the grunts, noticing that some of them didn’t seem to catch on to the Boss’ rather simple explanation. The scientists sighed before laughing a bit to herself, these lot weren’t the sharpest tools in the shed.

”What he’s saying is that you can’t be some piss scared baby when trying to raise a dragon Pokémon or they’ll gobble you up.” That seemed to click for a few of them.

”Dragon Pokémon also take a long time to evolve so keep that in mind when training one of a lower stage like a Dratini. Get impatient and you’ll never have a fully evolved dragon.”
