They had an influx of new Pokémon in their possession and they had to get some use out of them somehow so Rocket would be arming some of their members with dragon Pokémon.

A subset of Pokémon known to be a bit more of a handful training than most so today the Rocket scientist, along with the help of the boss would be training a bunch of grunts on how to handle their new partners.

This sort of thing wasn’t her style so she’d let the boss take the initiative.

Eva wasn’t about to let some Pokémon or thieves take what was found here.

This excavation had resulted in the findings of many artifacts that the scientist was extremely interested in and finding out that there were complications sprung her into action, calling for the assistance of Cadis to make sure everything went alright.

They were acting as guards and ensuring that everything was moved properly.

Now Eva was excited about this job, jumping at the opportunity to take it when she heard about it. She cared not for helping the rancher protect his livestock but instead at the prospect of being able to watch such an event as Beheeyem abduction.

What would that even look like? As such she brought equipment to record the event and asked the Rocket Boss to accompany her. She wanted to watch not get abducted herself.

Cleaning up deserters and traitors who didn’t get with the program after the shift in management was fine. Eva wasn’t exactly a social butterfly so there was no personal connection to many of the nameless and faceless nobodies within rocket that would pull this sort of a stunt.

But what made her invested in this job was that she personally knew this individual and the kind of information that they would have on them. At one point this person worked under her so she felt personally responsible for this one.

”Sorry to drag you into this.”

Everything was perfectly in order for Eva’s little surprise that she had been planning for a special member of Rocket. He would believe that the scientist had called him to come by a lab to assist her in some work but when he would arrive he’d instead find that the lab was actually a bakery.

They had the whole place to themselves, due to Eva pulling in some favors getting them this sweet deal. Instead of doing any sort of lab work they would be making all sorts of tasty treats and sweets. And why exactly was that? Well because it was a certain someone’s birthday not too long ago.

With everything that was going on it was hard to find the time to celebrate it but Eva made it work and here they were. Once Priam would enter the building he’d find it completely dark, not a soul in sight.

”Surprise!” The lights would turn on and Eva and her Pokémon would jump from their hiding spots to surprise the young man.

”Happy really belated birthday there, Blue!” While she was of course doing this because she liked the kid any excuse to have some sweets was one she was going to take.

”We’re going to be making a bunch of desserts instead of doing any kind of work. Sounds good huh?”

She was absolutely annoyed with the amount of people that stood in her way coming here. There was a job to be done and it would have probably been half way over at this point if those idiots just moved aside and let her get into the plant.

She didn’t have much stake in whether or not this plant was being used properly; it being operational would help her in the long run.

From time to time she would do work in Mauvile and its expansion would give her more options so these pests causing issues needed to be dealt with. And not being alone would make things go faster which was nice.

”The biggest gathering of Pokémon appears to be deeper in the plant, we’ll start there.” She relay to her partner.

Eva was ready to come out with a convincing story, maybe use some psychic Pokémon to distort and manipulate some people’s memories but Cadis called it off and let her go with just making the call.

”Alright then, if you say so.” She wasn’t going to argue with him, the less work she had to do the better.

”Yeah huh you can have that all to yourself there chief, not really trying to die today.” The thought of eating something out of that fridge made her gag a bit.

”Though I’ll definitely take you up on your offer of getting for elsewhere. So let’s hurry and get what you came for.”

”Oh.”

Well that explained why Cadis wanted her to put headphones in. She’d remove the earplugs to hear what he was saying and got busy take care of it.

”Well that was easy.” Oh she wasn’t complaining, she was pretty happy that there wasn’t much to be done on her part. All she had to do was make a phone call.
