As she walked over to pick up the Pokeball, she glanced back at the group. It seemed the man had made his way towards the campfire and was resting there. She stared in awe as the girl's pokemon alerted her towards the presence of a pokemon and quickly blasted lightning at it to catch it! She had to admit, she was a bit impressed with how well trained she had trained her pokemon. Ruby glanced over at Whisper who was standing beside her with a curious expression as if wondering why she didn't behave. To which, Whisper only responded with a small smug grin.

Sighing softly, she slowly began to make her way towards the other two. If they were going to be around each other for a little while, having a polite chat wouldn't be a horrible idea.

Suddenly, almost out of nowhere, a Frillish had came into view, reaching out towards Ruby herself, attempting to paralyze her and drag her down into the waterfall. Before they could even touch her, Whisper quickly slammed down their tentacle hand incredibly hard, with a dark aura recognizable as Brutal Swing and slammed the Frillish hard into the ground. It immediately squirmed in pain. Ruby simply gasped, watching Whisper ready another strike. Not wanting the pokemon to just get even more hurt, she quickly tossed a Pokeball at it, attempting to capture it and keep it from causing any more harm... Or getting harmed.

"H-hey umm, Sorry guys, I'll be over there in a second." She glanced over at Annie and Caius, waiting carefully to make sure the Pokemon was caught before walking over with them.

The roof was beginning to fall down around them and Ruby's panic only increased in worry. Some bones had fallen from the snow by her feet, which admittedly only scared her even more. Bones? Things had died in this snow? If it wasn't for Darling's gentle touch, she feared she would have panicked almost entirely. She quickly breathed in and out trying to relax. Opal outside would be fine. She couldn't freeze to death, and with her size, the snow was probably not even that bad... Or at least, she hoped.

Noticing everyone else's incredible efforts to try and escape from this beautiful ballroom turned prison, Ruby glanced down at Darling, fear in her voice as she whispered just barely loud enough to speak. "D-darling... Use Helping Hand. Help them get us out of here."

Darling nodded and curtsied politely towards Ruby, before hesitantly letting go of her hand and stepping back a little bit. Suddenly closing their eyes and humming softly. Their body covered in a multi-colored aura, the encouraging psychic presence could definitely be felt by those in the room who probably needed it the most.



Somewhere off in the hotel room, a Hatterene bursts out of their Pokeball. Without a single second of hesitation, they immediately began to head straight down to the ballroom, using their powerful tentacle arm atop their hat to push through as best they could.

notes: Ruby is freaked out. And Darling uses Helping Hand! So anyone can add or subtract my roll from theirs to hopefully get out of here! Whisper is attempting to make it to the ballroom, sensing the overwhelming fear and innately protective of Ruby.

There was something... strange about this girl. Was she talking about herself in third person? Her curiosity aroused, Ruby slowly tilted her head as Nicole repeated Ruby a few times to memorize it. Maybe she was just bad with names. If she was being fair, names were always hard for her as well. Sometimes people's faces and names just faded into the background. After all, if you never talked to them, it only made sense for the information to be lost.

"Uh, yeah! I'm here to help keep an eye out for anything suspicious!" Ruby giggled ever so softly to herself. The idea of playing a security guard for a ranch wasn't how she imagined her life going, but she wasn't going to complain. The Wooloo were absolutely adorable! Plus, their wool was indeed incredibly soft. Maybe if nothing did happen after all, she'd at least be given a chance to spend some time napping with a couple of the Wooloo. That would be a day well spent.

"Have you noticed anything yet?" She tilted her head curiously, glancing up at the girl once more. "Like, any strange people sneaking around, or any Pokemon silly enough to think they can get their teeth on one of them?"

It was still cold outside, and it seemed like it was only going to get colder as the sun started to set. Ruby breathed out a heavy sigh, the cold air making it so she could even see her own breath. At this height, it was only going to get worse if she wasn't careful. Making her way down the mountainside with a rather nervous pace, her boots crunching the snow with every step as the girl reinforced her desire to get somewhere warm for the night.

However, it was on her trip down that Ruby noticed something a bit strange. It was that girl she had met before, oh what was her name... Annie? Something like that. She seemed to be chasing a Delibird who was too determined to deliver presents. Almost immediately Ruby glanced up at the sun once again. It was starting to get darker and she couldn't help but feel a bit selfish all of a sudden. She couldn't just run away and try and get some warm place to sleep when gifts were in danger of not being delivered! Besides, it was heading down the mountain anyways.

"H-hey!" Ruby shouted, quickly running down the mountain to join Annie as they kept chasing the Delibird. "I uh, thought maybe you could use some help. If that's okay, of course."

She was just about to talk about how wonderful her home region of Galar was when he mentioned the Prince. She simply blinked, her eyes widening ever so slowly. Sinnoh was interesting, but not nearly as interesting as hearing the Prince himself was here in Hoenn! Oh, did that mean he was here? She quickly stood up to her feet, an excited gleam in her eyes. "The... The prince is in Hoenn? Oh god, my mom would love his autograph! I should-"

Before she could continue, the avalanche would immediately catch her off guard. The massive amount of snow slamming into the building immediately made her panic. She didn't scream, but her chest tightened up immediately as she was knocked off her feet. The Pokeball in her hands rolling out the door and revealing Opal the Aurorus, only for them to be buried underneath the snow right away.

"N-No!" She shouted out as the snow covered the entire doorway, making leaving the building a nightmare. It seemed like the new friend she had made was already trying to have his fire pokemon dig a way out, and despite her immediate desire to panic from the sheer natural disaster that just occurred, she took a deep, shaky breath.

"Opal!" She shouted as Darling the Indeedee finally made their way back to their feet, protectively pulling Ruby's arm close. "Are you out there?!"

A muffled dinosaurian scream shouted through the snow as the tall ice-pokemon attempted to break free of the heavy snow, pushing back with all their strength and digging out the snow with their large feet.

notes: Talked with Adrian, and panicked over the avalanche. Opal got stuck outside and is currently attempting to break herself and the others free from the massive and heavy pile of snow.
