and then, with a wiggle of her hips, she’s lifting up and out of his grasp. a hand stretches down toward him a moment later.

”whatever you want to get into,” her head tilts slightly to the side as if a memory weighs it down. ”although… you need winter clothes, right?”

she shows up in a flurry of red fabric, flushed and definitely a little wobbly. the santa hat miraculously survives the trip over. thank god for bobby pins...

what's first, though? there's so many pretty things to look at and try to not touch. sticky fingers and public events don't mesh, remember?

in the end, she settles on the snack table when a familiar head pops into sight. of course, she grabs two drinks on the way, an already prepped flask tucked into one of the thigh highs of her santa suit. she'll find out later if there's alcohol in these or not, maybe.

"helllo," she chirps, stopping just before she mows down CIAN MAHER 's company. oops, sorry paxton concordas ! her smile is bright, fuzzy at the edges. "wait, sorry, am i interrupting?" her eyes drift between them before settling on paxton in particular. attractive men stick together, huh? the smile widens at the thought.

and without really thinking that she doesn't currently have a free hand, she's extending on as if for a shake. the drink sloshes and spills slightly onto the ground.

"giada, nice to meet youu!"

whether he knows better or simply gives up, she doesn't know nor care to look into. the end goal is the same either way. roles can always be reversed later.

"good," she purrs out with a satisfied smile. "wise choice." and as if to cement it, she presses a light kiss to his chest before pushing her upper body upright once more.

"we can have a rematch later." maybe not in the snow, though...

arms wrap around her body and she snuggles closer to his warmth, body wiggling slightly. sure, there's snow all over them and it's probably ruining her hair but this is cute and comfy. she has no complaints, really.

at least, until he says he concedes. somehow, that seems almost too easy...

"not gonna put up a fight, love?" her smile is warm, even if it's dipping into challenging territory.

he's floundering a little, scrambling to gather more snow before she can launch another attack. and while she enjoys the playful hiss of bitch, she's playing a different game now.

one that includes her victory.

her feet are, perhaps, quicker than his hands. where he's still gathering snow for another snowball, she's abandoned the snow in favor of simply launching herself at him. her body shifts into a tackle and she'll drag them both down into the snow now.

"gotcha," she snickers. the winning grin is unwilling to leave her lips.

him ducking, however? does not.

she scowls slightly, nose wrinkling as her snowball misses. and when his comes flying right back, an arm rises to block her face from being hit. it smacks her sweater and the arm lowers after the molded snow drops back to the ground.

"bitch," she grins. the bending of her body is quick, agile, as if escaping security systems and scary dogs has prepared her reflexes for this. it hasn't, not really, but she speedy anyway. a lump of snow quickly becomes a ball and she's trying to dart closer to him as she throws it.

her shot isn't the best, sure, but that's not the goal here. distract, distract, distract then pounce.

although… maybe she would for him. only if he kicks her ass in a snowball fight, though.

”not happening,” she tries to keep a serious face but it cracks. she’s too excited to play to hide it.

her hot chocolate is finished by the time they get to the park. she releases his hand to toss the empty cup in a trash can. and then, it’s down to business.

she’s bending at the waist to gather snow between her hands, quickly molding and morphing it with agile fingers.

”born ready,” she chirps. there isn’t a pause, however. no, she just lets the first one fly with a cheeky smile and a bubbly laugh.

he’s going down, even if she has to drag him down herself.

her grin is devious now.

"i'm sure," she snorts as if the thought of her backing down is amusing. she'd try to play innocent or coy but neither have a place on her face. no, all that remains is pure confidence.

her chin rises a little in challenge.

"we can buy you winter clothes after i kick your ass," and she doesn't leave much room to argue. her hand tugs his gently to start moving toward the park, hot chocolate happily sipped along the way.

she uncrosses her legs slowly, only to re-cross them in the opposite direction. the bottom of her robe lowers and rises with the movement. it's all pointed, all a game with one victory in mind: she wants to see him break.

another laugh escapes.

"a girl's time is precious," she raises a hand to toss blonde waves over her shoulder. "but i'm sure i could pencil you in if you'd like."

a pause, as her lips spread wider and the devil's never looked quite as pretty.

"you know, for old time's sake."

"you're cuter," she retorts, flashing a surprisingly sugary smile. christmas spirit has her deviating from her usual antics, it seems.

warmth radiates from the kiss he peppers to her nose. and really, she's gonna melt if he keeps this up. unfair!

"i missed you too," comes softly, genuinely. he's come to become someone special, even after time has passed. one of her hands abandons the warm cup to reach for his. "thank you for taking me out." is this technically her first actual date? yeah... romantic encounters aren't actually a thing for her, not by a longshot.

and without any hesitation and a cheeky expression sinking into her face, she's rising up on tippy toes to return the favor. a butterfly kiss looks to land on his cheek.
