Slowly clambering to his feet, a hand rose to rub at his face. It came away to reveal no blood. It was doubtful there would even be a bruise, besides the one inflicted on his pride of course. Reaching to pick up the pokeball, it was tossed into the air and caught a time or two before he looked to the baltoy, who resumed his spinning.

''Yeah. I'll live.'' Pressing the pokeball into a pocket, another was produced and proffered (not thrown!) to the girl. The unown nearby seemed as indifferent as always. Granted, this was a family heirloom he was giving away, but his grandfather wasn't around to gripe ''It would likely never leave the pokeball if it kept it.'' A slight shrug.

''My grandfather would kill me for just handing it over like this, but that fucker's dead. Unless he got yamaskified like my uncle.'' A small prayer to a mystery deity was made that that was a one time thing. Andy didn't know he could survive the curse of two dead relatives hovering around him at the same time.

His bulbous physiology did not allow for normal placement. Hence the clothing item was more like a headband. ''Gengar...'' Red eyes crossed at look up at the dangling folds.

''You were the one who insisted on wearing a damn tie too. I don't want to hear it.'' The gengar flashed an annoyed look. Unlike the pokemon's singular dress item, Andy had come in old Galarian fashion, yet not all black. Softer tones, a cool blue for his evening coat and ribbon tie, a welcoming green for his vest.

Notably the adolescent was bereft of casts for the first time in months. The black creased shorts and sock garters helped to hide the straps of a brace for his right leg, in many ways more uncomfortable than the cast had been. A cane was grasped in his right hand to assist with walking, and while not a scepter of royalty, it was lavish enough to complement his ensemble.

I see most of the usual suspects here. Besides the typical high rollers of Hoenn, he spotted Rowan Wrynn hand in hand with a hard-faced man. Andy arched an eyebrow. Somehow I'm not surprised. Good for him I guess. Ruby Walker seemed to be looking for a glass of spirits. Is she old enough to drink? What was even the legal drinking age here?

''Oh.'' There was skyler dross , who the thought to stumble over to talk to. It had felt like ages since the Adventours into Hoenn's caves. Then he spotted Hideo Kino dancing with his gardevoir. Left hand poked at the brooding ghost type. ''Come along, Taph.'' With the tale tale racket of the cane hitting the polished floor, he limped over.

With the place clearing out, the gimped Galarian limped over to the nearest table to flop into a chair. He was beat for someone who did almost nothing today. Being injured was a real pain in the... well, everywhere. Antique wandered up to give him look of sympathy. Bending down with some effort, he patted the pokemon's shell.

''Ah shit,'' Andy mumbled as he heard Doug's shout from the kitchen. Turning as quickly as he could as hobbled as he was, the boy tossed a pokeball through the service window. Perhaps it would hit Doug in the face, as it seemed was always happening to him. Perhaps not. None the less, upon landed a familiar drifblim would emerge to assist the heat loss with his Flare Boost ability.

''Alright lads,'' Andy said to his present pokemon, ''as absolutely bonkers as this is, all this shit is going to get to tables on its own.'' Two dishes were pressed into the feathers of his decidueye, one each sat atop his polteageist and omastar. The rest went on the cart as the lost wandered out of the kitchen to deliver their orders.

The polteagiest gave his trainer a concerned look. The omastar peeked with worry out from behind the Galarian's leg, tentacles still holding on strong. Andy pondered how easy the little ancient pokemon's life had been if this was the worst thing it had seen. The tea pot hovered close, as if expecting his trainer to do something.

''Top work, Rooibos.'' The haunted pot floated closer and the Galarian gave it a pat. While he would likely not admit it, he loved having a such a signature pokemon of his home region. That is was also a ghost type was a big cherry on top. ''Rest easy now, eh?'' And with that he beamed the pot back into it's ball.

We need your fine brewing capabilities.'' With a clank and a happy spin on his own, the tea pot made use of teatime to help complete the order.

A glance was granted to the still satisfied Creepseed too. ''Fantastic work, girl.'' The pumpkaboo did a celebratory spin before disappearing into a pokeball as well.

''Jeez. Now why I know why people hate working food service.'' He fished another pokeball from god knows where and an adorable pumpkaboo appeared. ''Alright Creepseed, Trick-or-Treat. Let's get this shit done.'' The little pumpkin spun in the air as it acquiesced to her trainer's request.
