Another batch of buggy vibrations hit the speeding flyer.

It hurt but both fire types and bug types preyed upon bugs and took their hits en masse.

Fletchinder used FLAME CHARGE!

With one more flaming dive bomb on the lightning bug Fletchinder put an end to a fairly drawn out match.

All cleared for victory the ranger surfaced ready to take off all this yellow.

Taking out the breather and goggles before pulling back the head covering to expose his trademark of magma-colored mane.

His eyes bulged as he pointed at the person he'd just battled onside of.

Now that was a nostalgic face.

The flood of memories from that era almost punched him in the face. He hadn't seen this guy since before their balls dropped.

Returning Ranton to her Pokéball Sénon watched the end results of the EXPLOSION; Cloyster and Turtonator were knocked out.

Seviper was half-done and Ferligatr was both paralyzed and poisoned.

While the gator tried to get control of its own motor functions Sénon met Seviper and through a hand gesture gave her orders.

There was no need to drag this out any further.

Swimming top speed the snake smashed her plated skull into the gators maw rendering them both unconscious.

Seviper used FINAL GAMBIT!

As per the rules of this match in the case of double knock outs strategic/'sacrificial' knock outs from moves like FINAL GAMBIT, EXPLOSION and SELF-DESTRUCT, the win would go to the team of the pokémon who caused the final knockouts.

With a prominent burn settled on the target and its CHARM on full display, Fletchling took back from attacking for a moment and took out a little insurance to keep a lead on its prey; a speed boost.

Everyone had a plan until they got punched in the face.

But there was a lesson there; don't panic from a punch. Stick to the plan. Sharpedo wouldn't back down and neither would anyone else.

Kadabra was being damaged more than he could heal not to mention he was still holding his breath but he trusted Sénon, so he kept at it, usually himself as a piece of meat for the sharpedo to focus on.

Leaving it to be hit with amassing amounts of damage that a LIFE DEW couldn't compensate for.

With the otherside getting bogged down in status conditions and competent maneuvering one of their trainers decided to go big or go home, triggering the Turtonator into EXPLOSION.

To save herself and her human, Seviper abandoned the Ferli-fight to make it back to Sénon in an attempt to protect him.

But she was too far away.

Before the turto detonated a fleshy barrier of scale and muscle expanded from the Head Ranger's pokéball; Ranton protecting them from the shockwave of the blast and any shrapnel from it.

When the explosion subsided his partner would find himself staring down the resting bitch face of a Gyarados.

Tired of being roughed up by the bigger and bulkier reptile Seviper shakes off the SUPERPOWER throw and answers with another GLARE.

With a bright flash of the eyes and fangs and a prominent display of the dangerous coloring of its splotches, the Ferligatr locked up making it fodder to another round of POISON FANGS and JABS.

TWISTER whipped up the water and send the deadbugs away.

But while Milotic protected Inkay, no one protected Sharpedo.

If they were going to be here a while, ~~bring a snickers~~ Kadabra would grab hold of the attacking fish making it easier for its teammates to strike.

IFinally getting in a clean hit the type advantage did most of the work.

Seeing the other side hunker down for healing the Lava-headed Head Ranger and his hot-bodied bird were of one mind. "Don't let up."

Most pokémon couldn't attack and heal at the same time. So if they doubled down with flames on the cunning bug...

they could force an encore of their own.

Shaking off the tiny birb's intimidation tactics Dose proverbially took the wheel of the battle again.

If Sénon owned a car, he might have let the battletoad drive it, of all his pokémon.

Dosé was good like that.

Proving it the Croagunk took stock of the purple bits of gunk on the Murkrow's feathers. The purpled sludge caused by TOXIC was bad unto itself but for the opponents not meant for punching Dosé had a better path to victory.

Sucking air into his cheek sac the frog slapped its belly and spit a thin concentrated stream of yellow bile at the Murkrow.

Dose used VENOSHOCK!

When the yellow touched the purple it cause a chemical reaction 'burning' the bird not unlike acid and filling its fowl face with foul fumes.

Paralysis makes the Turto easy prey at takes the razor shell. Naturally like more turtle pokémon and cloyster alike it took the slightest signs of danger of protect itself; IRON DEFENSE hardening its body.

Not far from, Ferligatr and Seviper entwine with death roll and tight wrapping respectively all the while biting at one another with ICE and POISON FANGS, also respectively.

If getting headbutted in the face wasn't enough to snap the firebird out of its confusion being hit with bug-typed move was.

Bugs made Fletchinder hungry and through that, primed their flames. "FLAME CHARGE!"

It seemed the Head Ranger was in need of battling more frequently.

As much as he spent with his pokémon he hardly battled any more. It seemed his pokémon with the most personalities tended to develop a need to do things their own way.

Not unlike how Sénon liked to do things his own way. He watched Baby take another attempt at toppling the massive mountain of an opponent he had before him with a more powerful take down attempt.

Babysaur used DOUBLE-EDGE!

Babysaur fainted!

Somehow baby had gotten himself worked up enough to knock himself out against the tyranitar. Luckily Foster clearly wanted a real challenge. "How about we make this a double Foster?" He called out his next pokémon.

Essentially proclaiming he could make a sweep against her Tyranitar and her next pokémon.

Seviper got her bearing quickly she understood proximity between humans in this case meant allies.

She saw cloyster as a big thing that could take hits for her while she wore down their enemies occupied with attacking.

She couldn't ask the cloyster for permission, but she could force them all to battle the way she wanted to.

She took the WATERFALL and its damage using it as cover to slip behind the Turtonator snaking around its back to flash deadly intent from its eyes.

But not before the Turtonator fires its own FIRE BLAST back at the ice type that ignores the water completely.

In fact Sénon could feel the water temperature rising.

Seviper used GLARE!
