With his legs spread wide he sat up breathing deep of the passing wind. The sun was still up for now but there were indigos and oranges beginning to splotch the skies.

At this point Sénon's reasoning was wavering from 'protect them at all costs' to 'getting a little hurt is good for them'.

They were a particularly unruly lot and today, they had company.

The nine out-numbered the three that were tasked to guard and herd them.

That wasn't to mention the ones the Mrs. had brought herself.

With this many babies about even a backyard picnic felt like a high stakes venture in the wild.

It was good of Kingsman to hold his opinion on the biology of a Zeraora despite Sénon's objections. It meant he wasn't yes-man and that his views were truly his own. It wasn't anything the redhead didn't already know, but it was always warming to see it in action.

"You might be right. I haven't really spent much time with it." This was only his second time calling forth the Zeraora since acquiring it, which would explain why-

Zeraora used PLASMA FISTS!

With a planted jab straight at the elder ranger's face, the yellow-furred feline swung in defiance of a new human to claim dominion over it. Frightened to no end, Chimchar hid on Sénon's back.

The plasma fisted attack only just barely being blocked and held at bay by Primeape's own fist in time.

Quickly enough Zeraora changed targets and Primape was quickly dispatched.

Crossing his arms at the Zeraora that came to stand before him, the Game didn't budge.

"I'll make a deal with you." As the feline listened to his offer the troop of Mankey and Primeape seemed to begin to crowd about the yellow Zeraora in place of the recently fallen Primeape. "I'll let you go free right now."

The Head Ranger pointed at the Zeraora with fur clean and white. "If you can beat them in a battle."

It all lined up perfectly as the little drummer monkey attracted the attention of the Passimian tribe who liked the sound of his beats.

Taking an interest in the white Zeraora as well the Passimian seemed to have almost the same interaction that Sénon and Razz did about its biology.

With both the feuding camps here and each interested in one of the two similar looking pokémon and simple solution fell into their hands.

"You see what I'm thinking Kingsman?" he asked, calling Kadabra to the field.

After having seen what happened to Sénon for rounding a corner too fast, Babysaur was a bit nervous.

Taking an explosion to the face, even at a distance didn't look fun.

Still young, Baby had yet to be trained to ignore his own fears. Trotting along side his father Baby's anxiety over being blown up got the best of him.

Babysaur used Sleep Powder!

At the sight of a Ponya towering over him he doused the area in SLEEP POWDER, putting the wild horse to slumber where Sénon would claim it with a Safari Ball and stare down at Babysaur skeptically.

The Heatran took quickly to their weekly walkabouts the fiery path with their human trainer.

It was becoming the most consistent part of their weekly routine.

It was actually beginning to feel as though he could trust them to behave around one another without competing or being aggressive to one another.

The travel down the fiery path started the same as any other week. Likely next week, he would start looking into harnesses that could safely be affixed to a Heatran.

In the aftermath of nearly taking a EXPLOSION to the face Sénon sat with his new Minior in the first Safari Ball.

Before long a Hatenna came by smiling for a berry just like the first one.

Getting to his feet he moved on after helping it find some berries for itself.

The hot jog seemed to move along as normal until Sénon came to stop hearing the sounds of snapping and crying out.

With both the Heatran at attention and unoccupied, he assumed his missing Tyrunt was the source of the distress.

Running back down the jogged path a bit he came to see little Terawr facing down an Arcanine. Unsure of where it came from the ranger ordered the tiny heir pokémon to take down the Arcanine with a STOMPING TANTRUM.

With the bite holes on the both of them it seemed they'd damaged each other a fair bit already.

Beaten with the ground stomping move, a spare Premier Ball would claim the Arcanine as Sénon's own.

Crimsen attempted to capture Arcanine!

It was kind of Henry and Michelle to relinquish custody of 'bulba' to Cait.

Although she never talked about him before it was easy to read her emotions regrading the old grass type.

If he was coming back with them Sénon would do all he could to prolong the life and ignite the joys it had left.

Settling down on the couch to look through photo albums he took his first but, unofficial trip through time with Cait. He found it charmingly strange most of women's hair changed from common browns to lush greens during maturation.

There was room there for some kind of metaphor about bare soils becoming fertile with time and care.

Looking through the pictures it seemed the smaller she was meaner she was. With pictures telling a thousand words there were enough photos here to make an affidavit in the case against baby cait.

The pictures being viewed and contextualized moving forward through time seemed to tell the story of a girl who started out certain and the more she learned about the world it seemed to inform upon her just how little she knew of anything at all.

The way he saw it, she had come a long way from whoever she was when she left this home.

The violin came as a bit of a shock; something about her knowing how to play one string made him thirst to get her to learn to play another.

Only in the dopiest of his dreams did Cait coo notes at him from her soft lips and the thoughtful tickling of her harp. "Did I know you could play?"

Leading the jogging path for the magmutts the trio even crossed by a mother typhlosion.

Although the Heatran seemed curious about the fire-type with little Terawr on their heels snapping away they didn't risk lingering around.

Rounding a corner of the castle the redhead was knocked off his feet and sent rolling in the grass by some two or two meters.

A smoking char of a knocked out Minior coming to rest near his head.

Rendered unconscious by use of its own EXPLOSION a safari ball secured it to the team once Sénon was back on his feet and back with his bearings.

Crimsen attempted to capture Minior!

Cute as it was it wasn't he what he was looking for so he moved on without a second glance.

Well, he did give a second glance.

Chansey and Blissey were kind and caring helpful and useful pokémon. Silently he wished for a caring and competent trainer to find and take on the little Happiny and raise her properly.

If not for the fact that he already had eight nidos Sénon might have made the attempt to capture the queen.

Sadly, getting one more would have meant having one more than he knew what to do with.

He couldn't even think of someone whom might make good use of a gift Nidoqueen.

So, without breaking his stride he moved on not bothering with the Nidomama and showing the Heatran to do the same.

Another late night at Devon labs gave Dr. Gioco a chance to be given private escort home by the League's newest Head Ranger; Sénon Game. Usually against such being shown such favor the good doctor couldn't pass up the chance to spend a moment with her baby boy.

Dropping his mother off at home and surviving the doting she gave him for making a life for himself in Hoenn despite what they had to leave behind in Kanto, Sénon finally headed home himself; back to Cait.

Just outside the boundaries of Rustboro the ranger caught the shimmering eyes of what could only be Sableye moving en masse, some towards the town.

Having lost his last Sableye to that nightmare of a pokémon Sénon would deal with this heard just the same as any other with the extra work of just keeping an eye out for the opportunity to claim one of them as his own.

He was able to make out a golden sableye among the purple horde. Catching that one would make for a fantastic moment and new pokémon companion.

Still, as far as fantastic moments and pokémon went Ranger Game was still waiting for the discovery of a winged line of Ponyta and Rapidash.

Had to happen sometime right?
