Devoted to filling his fish tank with buddies for Kyle Jr. and his relicanth Lucas made the trek to the safari zone. Loaded up with four safari balls he was ready to finally capture that anorith that he promised silvy like a year ago on discord.

Whatever the limit was for maxing out safari visits in a day Lucas was gonna hit it. Only when all the anoriths had been moved from the safari zone into his tiny tank at home would he leave for the day.

Lucas froze when he heard a rustle in the grass. Geodude did too after a momentary lag in awareness. The two stand still and, to Lucas' disappointment, it's a castform that floats by.

"C'mon." Breathing life into his still body Lucas began to continue his walk through the safari zone.

The geodude bonked the anorith's head as it played whack-a-mole. Before the prehistoric pokemon could even attack its head was pounded repeatedly into the dirt. As one first came down there was already another mid swing ready to take its place.

After geodude must have gotten enough arcade tickets off the anorith to buy a stuffed bear Lucas threw a pokeball.

When all was said and done the anorith was covered in dust and lay limp in the dirt. With a gentle tap against the head with a safari-ball Lucas captured the anorith.

He turned away to put the pokeball back into his fanny pack, and when he turned back there was another anorith in the same hole. It sliced at geodude's hand with a metal claw, causing it to expel a deep gravelly cry. Outraged by the attack geodude wrenched anorith out of the hole and proceeded to grab its tail. Then it began the rigorous task of slamming it to and fro.

Lucas zipped his fanny shut after slipping the safari ball back in. Standing back up he stretched with arms spread wide.

After stretching he thoroughly kicked the dirt around the holes. When nothing stirred he grabbed hold of geodude's hand before continuing their walk through the safari zone.

When geodude caught sight of the tympole it dropped Lucas' hand, much to his dismay. Using its arms as legs it ran at top speed toward the tympole.

With only a few feet between it and tympole geodude thrust itself in the air and extended a hand out to slap the water type. The slap resounded through the safari zone as tympole went skipping across its pond's surface. In all geodude managed to skip the tympole seven times before it sank beneath the water's surface.
