while it wasn't odd for the woman to be using an off day to adventure around somewhere, it was strange she was doing it to obtain a new pokemon for her team. the woman, who was more reserved in nature, had become bored sitting at home all day and reading and she figured that maybe a little bit of action would be a lot more fun. with a small hum, she petted the dratini that had made itself a scarf around her neck. pepper was more of a companion for cassie than a pokemon used for attacking others. she wasn't blood thirsty or eager to battle ever.

hopefully they would run into something good soon.

the woman would be taken by surprise at the scene in front of her. a prinplup's fin would be caught underneath a tree, whining and flailing about as she had been too weak to get it off her. cassie would have to think before running over to the penguin looking pokemon. "don't worry, i'll help you out of this mess." she told the prinplup with a smile before calling out her staryu and her slowpoke.

pokey just looked around with a look before letting out a yawn like normal. "okay you two...i need you both to help me get this tree of this prinplup. can you do that?" the genderless staryu, which was obviously more feminine than most, would bounce about in a rather flamboyant manner. it's gem would glow and it would use psychic. pokey would follow suit, letting out a rather unenthusiastic "sloooooow."

once the prinplup was free, it would move to tackle the young woman. giving a laugh, she looked to it. "since i helped you, how about you join me, hmm?" she asked, pulling out a pokeball.

the prinplup would think for a moment before nodding and pressing her fin against the ball, being sucked into it quickly!
