After a moment of study, Rowan shrugged his shoulders and shook his head. “Don’t recognize anything strange about it, sorry. Just looks like a weird trinket, to be honest.” No recollection of things he’d seen before drew any significance to the shape, as far as he was concerned this was just a decorative stone.

“I do have something that you might be interested in, though.” A hand slipped his phone out of his pocket, bringing up a text document that had been sent to him from Yui Fujin Silph a few months ago. “A friend and I had broken into the spire in Sootopolis City before it disappeared, we discovered some information about something called the ‘People of the Water’.”

Aloud, he reads the passage from Olivia Abbiati’s computer. "A long time ago, there was an ancient tribal society called the People of Water. Very little is known about their culture, save for a few relics that have implied their existence. Rumor has it, they were technologically advanced— but when Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon fought a long time ago, their civilization was wiped clean." He’d flip around the phone and show Eris the images depicting art of people worshiping an odd structure that were attached to these scanned papers.

As for something she'd be interested in? She almost immediately sits up at the mention of a mystery, her eyes practically shining at the very thought. It helps when she hears the description of the legend involved, the gears in her brain instantly turning as she tries to link it to something familiar.

I’m not really well-versed in legend lore.” A few taps on the screen connected Rowan to Eris’ printer, letting the information that himself and Yui Fujin Silph had gathered be made into physical form. “It was strange timing, to be honest.” He goes on to explain, searching through his belongings for a specific Pokéball. “Shortly after the excursion into the Silver Spire, I found this Pokémon in the waters off Sootopolis City.”

A flash of light revealed his Phione, a cheerful little sprite that flitted around their airspace for a moment before settling onto Rowan’s shoulder. “As far as I know, this species is related to Manaphy, no? I saw carvings of that legend among the others in the Silver Spire.”
